   Whatever you have read or seen about bavette it's true. It was superb, other than the food being top notch I have to hand it to the staff, the service was impeccable, attentive from the moment we walked through the door, they were very knowledgeable and passionate about the food and drinks they were serving. A Credit to the business The bistro was very clean and the atmosphere was energetic I loved it The chocolate mousse Paris-Brest was too good to share. We can't wait to go back.

   Excellent meal. The quality of the food was outstanding, the service was excellent - we asked for a recommendation for wine to go with both fish and steak and we were recommended a wine we had never tried before and it was absolutely delicious. The chocolate mousse was amazing and the steak was one of the best I have had. Looking forward to coming back to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Thank you for a lovely event, amazing food and an excellent experience!

   Simply excellent. Delicious food, excellent wine menu and knowledgeable input from our superb waiter, amazing service and fast becoming our favourite restaurant. See you again soon.

   First visit but certainly won't be the last. Beautiful food and great server. Very knowledgeable about the food and what wine pairings we should have. Very relaxed and didn't feel rushed. Book well in advance though as it can get very busy. We arrived for lunch at 1pm and by the time we left it was almost full. Highly recommend.

   Visited for Sunday lunch based on the rave reviews I’d read and it didn’t disappoint. Delicious food and great service. Fabulous roast potatoes and gravy. Worth the train ride and walk from Harrogate. Looking forward to visiting again.
