Bayleaf Pub and Indian restaurant
When we arrived we were informed not to enter the venue by a rude doorman, so we entered through the pub entrance to find out where to go for out table, turns out they had a fully booked venue with a party taking all the tables. so we got no food.
As it was Christmas Eve eve (Sunday) I thought we would pre book via this site in case the place was full of happy eaters. However, when we arrived the place was totally empty but we still went in anyway.
We were welcomed and escorted to our seats....drinks and meal ordered and we sat back to wait for our meals to arrive. The meals arrived and were as tasty as we had hoped for. We thoroughly enjoyed our courses (I think we each ordered totally different meals) so I won't mention any one thing in particular.
It was quite a strange dining experience eating alone in a restaurant but enjoyable evening none the less. We were assured the place was full to capacity the night before so I suppose we were just unlucky booking on a Sunday so close to Christmas :-(
However, we will return so that must mean we enjoyed ourselves !
