Couldn’t fault anything, the food was spot on and the service first class
Fantastic Sunday Lunch as always, highly recommend.
My partner and I dine out frequently and from entering Hotel it had a wonderful feeling. Surroundings, decor lovely . Greeting really friendly the young lady really nice. Got better FOOD !! Starters excellent Korean Beef Noodles different tastes were lovely, Pate came with four slices of cut bread with most amazing pickle onions (pink in flavour but won't give away chefs recipe even though he shared). Mains were tremendous but that full staff gladly boxed up chicken kebabs with flatbread which were delicious for my breakfast. Finished off in bar on sofa finishing drink discussing what a lovely dining experience it had been.
We had Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Five vegetables in total including cauliflower cheese, and the gravy was very rich and tasty. In fact everything was spot on.
We really enjoyed the meal, from starters through to desserts. I had the katsu chicken, which was lovely. We were all really impressed with the menu and thought it was a good price. Delicious meal and attentive staff.
Excellent food, my husband said it was the best steak he had ever eaten. Lots of choice on the menu, including some different dishes not seen on normal pub/hotel menus. Great service, and a lovely quiet table in the conservatory area.
Food and service top notch all staff friendly and knowledgeable. We ate inside the bistro where the decoration was smart.
A jewel in the crown this hotel is , food, rooms , atmosphere, surrounding and specially the staff are fantastic, try it you will not be disappointed....
Lovely surroundings. Meal was delicious. Though beef slightly overdone for me. But that’s just personal taste
We went for sunday lunch on sunday 19.9.21. Food was very good and staff are always very helpfull. The beamish park is really worth a try.
Excellent service 👏 Relaxing and lovely environment . Had the best steak for years and years .
Excellent food, imaginative menu's freshly prepared and you can taste the difference. Cheerful attentiove stafff. A lovely Lunch.
Always a warm welcome x service was very good & food was excellent as always x I had the tempura prawns & hubby had the 30 day steak truly recommended x
Went for Sunday lunch. Food excellent and although it was very warm in the restaurant we were moved to the patio on request. Good food, great service, lovely setting.
Food was disappointing and very basic. Children’s food was cheap quality and katsu curry very bland. Nachos came in cardboard box on a plate which seemed weird for a restaurant.
The waiting staff never asked if food was ok despite taking away a full plate of uneaten food.
Fantastic food and service would highly recommend eating here. We will be back soon!
Food was good, ambience pleasant and service very prompt and attentive, even though a wedding was also being hosted at the same time. We were impressed and will certainly return.
The food was fabulous , piping hot too !
Generous portions of everything, the staff are so helpful, polite and very efficient.
Cant wait to return !
Thank you to all the Team
Lovely food, piping hot abs excellent service . My only complaint is most of the young staff did not wear their face masks over their nose and mouth making it pointless wearing them at all. An important point as we are trying to recover from a pandemic
Unfortunately the menu has a lot of curries, things like bang bang monkfish, jerk chicken etc. The cod and chips were not good, burnt thick chips and very dry fish. They need to offer more‘British’ food. Staff were very nice and hotel clean.
Menu…too much Asian fusion. As I am allergic to garlic the menu was limiting for me. Had the cod and chips. There were fine but not memorable. My husband had the chicken curry which he said was outstanding and would definitely order again.
Ambience….Didn’t like the over use of plastic foliage…..cheapened the look. Lovely view from the Bistro and Conservatory.
Overall a relaxing evening and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. We will come again if the menu changes.
Our food was delicious, there was a wide choice which was pleasing to the Vegetarians and Gluten free restricted amongst my guests. Service was a little slow, but as we were a largish group, we chatted amongst ourselves.
Very good service, Food is always top notch, lovely views and ambience.
Great service, great ambiance, great food! Never disappointed when we visit. Like that I can book online.
Me and my wife had a traditional Sunday roast early evening.
Fresh vegetables loads of meat and fantastic views.
Would definitely be returning again soon.
The food was delicious, however the restaurant was very dated and does not appear to have been decorated since I last visited in 1996. The presentation of the food was poor and due to the decor it felt as though we were eating lunch in a care home. We were very disappointed
Nice location looking over the countryside . Just had sandwiches and coffee but was lovely would definitely go again . Nice outside covered sitting area .
We normally enjoy BPH, but we were surprised by menu choices. We haven’t visited for a while courtesy of COVID, so we were confused as to what was different. Not what we were used to. Restaurant wasn’t busy to start with but service was slow and a bit dis-jointed.
The food was hot but not ‘special’ considering the prices. I had the ice cream which at £4.50 for three tiny balls is daylight robbery. Never seen a scoop so small.
Great service, really enjoyed the day
Food was amazing, will definitely be returning. Everything was perfectly cooked and the flavour was outstanding.
Outstanding Sunday lunch. Nicest lunch I’ve had at a pub in years. Every element of it was gorgeous!
Short over night stay , very warm welcome ! Bar and restaurant staff very pleasant . Good customer service. Very clean
Food is always great best in Beamish without question
Amazing meal at Beamish Park Hotel. Food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.
Not the same staff that used to be there. So the restaurant didn't have the usual professionalism. Had to ask 3 times to order desserts. Kept getting forgotten about.
Very friendly staff, lovely food.
Excellent food and service. Staff very attentive and quick service.
Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch. Best I've had in a long time. Cannot fault one bit of our experience.
Really enjoyed the meal good food and friendly staff will definitely be returning
First time at this restaurant and overall a good experience.
Good menu choices, prompt, friendly service.
Food could have been hotter, perhaps our only criticism.
