   Bear is always a lovely place to go. Booking a table is advised on a Sunday as it gets so busy. Great food. Great coffee. Great service

   Live music night, so food and music which we listened to more or less depending on the song, and our conversation! All four of us had a good time.

   We booked a table at BEAR a few days in advance. However, after travelling over half an hour to the restaurant, upon arrival they informed us that the till was down and they could take no orders. We weren’t informed/ contracted by BEAR in advance despite them having our contact information which would have saved us over an hour of travelling.

   Great evening at Bear again the burgers were delicious! A good selection of gluten free alternatives available too!

   A lovely place for a catch up with friends. The staff and service were friendly , and the coffee was really good. Well worth those few extra steps up the high street.

   Food was only just warm and some was very over cooked. Reasonable choice but quality of cooking needs improvement. Very little heating inside and as it is winter it’s quite cold to sit. May try again later in the year to see if things have improved.

   Sadly, we felt really dissatisfied. We had to ask for an update on our food twice, to be told the slip never made it to the kitchen Our drinks order was wrong twice and it felt completely understaffed and disorganised for Christmas Eve.
