   When a restaurant features an ingredient so core to their being that without it, they wouldn’t be in business, they should really contact you before you show up, sit down, wait, and order drinks to let you know they won’t have any of that ingredient. Maybe they could’ve bought us a drink or something to apologize - but no, barely a passing acknowledgement. They emphatically called me for credit card information the night before we arrived - but didn’t call to let us know they wouldn’t have what everyone goes there for. One thinks this is on purpose as many probably would have canceled their reservations. Lesson for everyone else: call the day of and make sure they have crab. For me? I’ve been to Beast at least half a dozen times. Last night will likely be my last.

   Lovely restaurant, good food. If you’re a small group you may find it difficult to communicate over the massive tabke, and if you’re on a date, ask to be seated next to each other.

   A nice restaurant with good quality produce as far as we could see and taste. Staff generally pleasant and helpful. However, extremely expensive wine list and hefty service charge, even for London! There are better value places to go.

   As always, The Beast does not disappoint. This was my fourth visit to the place and am pleased to see that this place maintains the same standards for Food, service and ambience. Great steaks on the board with some excellent truffle chips. The starters and drinks are also impressive. The only irritant this time was the amount of noise as the place was in a full house mode. With its seating layouts, this isn’t a place for a romantic evening.. Nevertheless, this is definitely not my last visit.

    Everyone is extremely gracious. The service and staff were a real pleasure. We had Lake District Rib Eye and vegetarian courses. However Beast was recommended to me for its Crab. Next time!!! My friends wanted steak so I went along. Nice wine menu; very eclectic. And very expensive. The whole experience was extremely expensive, but I’m glad we did it. Truly the vegetarian selections, and the staff, were the two best reasons to go. I will have crab next time 🙏🏼

    Just absolutely amazing experience, the all front of house team were incredibly kind, friend and professional. Really felt welcomed. The food was amazing, if you are getting side dishes get the cabbage it was heaven. The portion sizes of the chips were generous. The steak also was perfect. Will definitely be coming again

    Nice place and good vibe. I wouldn’t waste my time with the appetizers next time, nothing special and very expensive. The steak is the highlight I would order it directly.

    The food and service were very good. Amazing steaks and good wine list. The only thing I did not enjoy was the communal tables. We were a party of two between two larger parties. It is very loud and difficult to hear.

    We had a lovely meal for our wedding anniversary. Enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairing. The team that look after you are very attentive without being overbearing Worth taking your time, get there a little early and have a cocktail at the bar. I enjoyed the night.. All tasting menu was good but steak let it down, it was all fat on my share. The other half was good. I perhaps would have sent it back if it wasn’t my anniversary

    Used to be one of my favourite restaurants in London. But the food has gone downhill over the years, the king crab was over cooked and dry. And the prices have sky rocketed

    The long bench tables aren’t a great format for dates, and the clientele was a weird mix of families and later night diners which didn’t create a buzzing atmosphere you’d want in a supposedly trendy place. The over crammed cold tanks of crab at reception didn’t look v humane. The meat cuts were good and tasty; our waitress was a laugh. I won’t be hurrying back though as it was v expensive relative to other meat focused offerings

    Thank you for this visit! We absolutely enjoyed our dinner. The service was amazing, we felt welcome. We have great stories about meat and other stuff from the menu. Prices are high, but you get really nice experience. It is definitely worth it. And I should mention oysters - one of the best oysters me and my husband ever tried! :) This time we didn't drink alcohol, and we were happy to enjoy a non-alcoholic mocktail which was really tasty! I could switch to non-alcohol for that! :) Next time, I would love to try some of your other cocktails! See you!

    Second time dining at Beast; overall a good experience. What let down the rating was being up sold an off menu cut of Spanish steak - told it was the best on offer - only to find it sub-par compared to Nebraska rib-eye which we also ordered.

    Wine was overpriced for what we got (210 pound Malbec that was underwhelming) but otherwise one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Will be back but choosing my own wine next time!

    Perfect nigh! Starters were all good, you can definitely try anything on the menu. The Norway king crab tasted absolutely delicious, and the sweetness of the meat was the key. Must have! 40 days Angus from Scotland, we had it medium rare. Tender, juicy, especially with the truffle source, tasted rich and long finish. perfect!
