The candle lit atmosphere and grandest vibe remains but we have encased it all in a modern, elegant and rustic setting, where everyone is welcomed to enjoy the feast.
Guests are welcomed to indulge in pre-dinner drinks in our full service bar, a flamboyant cocktail or a chilled glass of champagne, the choice is yours.
As the elevator doors open, you come face to face with your dinner.
Looking at our in-house drying Nebraskan Steaks and peering at the Norwegian King Crabs through our floor to ceiling tanks, having the opportunity to hold the Beast that is the King Crab will signal the start of your Beast Experience.
Offering communal dinning at its finest, you will seated at impressive six meters long tables custom made from air-dried English Benchmark oak.
Well, food is good. Overall ambience is different and worthwhile. BUT, service is bad. Our waiter had a severe attitude issue and honestly made the overall experience just bad. So yeah overall, too commercial and somewhat tacky. Wouldnt go again.
We went for valentines night dinner and like always it was fantastic except for the parts that was sold out everything else was as expected.
Highly recommended. Quality is what you receive!
Thank you so much Beast!
Amazing food and service !!!
Lovely place, great food, a bit pricey, but worth it for special occasions
Nice decoration. Nice Beef. Awesome Truffle Chips. Overall is impressive.
Good staff and nice food but extremely overpriced.
Excellent in every aspect. Only issue is overpriced.
Although on the expensive side, the food is outstanding, and well worth the money.
Generally very good although still overpriced. Location wise it is not Mayfair but it certainly is price wise.
Great food just watch the pricing as a lot of it is by weight.
The bill was £340 for 2 people (inc an £85 bottle of wine)
before you know it you've had £90 of crab as an "in-between" (starters and main) course....it all adds up!!
Not a romantic venue as they have long tables so you could be sat next/close to others. Good fun otherwise if not.
Really fantastic quality and tasty ingredients. The service was really excellent, the ambience was great and the food was exceptional. We will indeed be visiting again!
I have been to this restaurant several time and the quality of the food that they produce always meet my expectation.
They are brilliant with what they do.
Gorgeous banquette style setting with candles...lovley steaks... wish the waiter would have given better advice as to the weight of the meat we needed to order- turns out the quantity was too much (and thus the price went exponentially up). Also, truffle chips are way too thick cut. Should have a skinnier fries option. Overall excellent though, will return and will recommend!
Excellent but pricey
The steak itself was not good. It was very hard to chew.
Not cheap at all for a shared table establishment. But food is fantastic.
The best meal I’ve ever had the amspthere was brilliant.
Very good food! Nice enviorment, great service. Expensive!
My family was celebrating my graduation on the Thursday we enjoyed our evening at BEAST. It was hands down one of the best dining experiences we have had. A member of our party came with a number of food allergies. Paolo, one of our servers, was amazingly attentive - courteously asking for specifics and discussing the individual options on the menu. He is worthy of all lauding I can provide. While the bill was quite pricey, they even threw in a specialty sorbet deserve to help celebrate my graduation.
Overall, if you’re willing to foot a hefty bill, I would say the ambiance, service, and cuisine is very good. I was thoroughly pleased.
Great Steak and Seafood restaurant with an unusual seating set up which encourages socialising with strangers but would also be good for larger parties.
The Chateaubriand was excellent and could not be faulted. The Wine list is extensive but even the cheaper bottles are a little pricey.
We did not try the seafood but as it was still alive in tanks it was clearly very fresh.
The service was first class as well - highly recommend it.
Out waitress was really rude, snapped at my guests (which were Clients). She rushed us unnecessarily. will not return & will not recommend
First time visit here after hearing good things and the odd negative comment, went here as a booking of 6 for a department lunch.
First things first.... as has been mentioned; its expensive; very expensive! Some of the prices quite eye watering and I’m not sure I’d rush back due to that. Maybe this high price point reinforces a bit of a snooty attitude from one or two staff.
But the core reason for attending is obviously the food and this is good, really good. I went for the steaks but left having been far more impressed with the seafood
We opted for starters of two seafood platters and a load of crabs legs.... shame we couldn’t stretch to a whole Norwegian King Crab but at £120/kg (plus 12.5%) and the smallest available being 3.10Kg we left that!!! What I would say though is that what we had was lovely, the crab legs especially.
Main course was a selection of bone in rib eye, a porterhouse, chateaubriaund and wagyu. Must confess the wagyu was tasteless and very disappointing but everything else absolutely fantastic and very tasty.
Deserts nearly passed us by as they wanted us out for a private function and to be honest what we had was average but still perfectly nice.
Good wine consumed
I’ve still not found a place to rival Kew Grill !!!
Great service, best steak in London
Anniversary. Excellent food, outstanding service. Very noisy
The server was extremely helpful and guided me throughout the steak selection process and was very thorough. Ambiance is great and the food was exceptional. I would definitely go back and encourage others to try it out.
Brilliantly as usual
If steak is your thing, then this is an absolute must. Wow, did the food 'float my boat' simply the best steak I've ever had, and I've eaten in many very good steak restaurants in my time. Expensive, but worth it, definitely!
Wait staff seemed to be severely understaffed and stressed and it showed on their faces and vibes and it was easy for us to absorb that stressed energy and sense why there were delays in serving and problems we saw with other customers
Really good steak! Great place for a group of friends.
We got our table half an hour early which was good since the introduction of the concept of fixed meat volumes took some time. We decided on 1 kg/4 persons and chateubriand which was excellent. We could divide this 50/50 as regarding the preparation time of the meat. The red Malbes from Argentina was fantastic and among the best I've tried. The starter (shrimp) and dessert (creme brulee) were also excellent.
High quality food. Our waiter was a bit difficult but the food did not disappoint. The family style table seating took some getting used to but it was cool because we ended up next to a former manager of an EPL football team.
Amazing food, aesthetically the plates were impressive. Good choice of drinks as well. Not so keen on the sitting plan. Struggled to be sitting next to your only guest
Great place, great food, definitely going back and highly recommended
Honestly, just not worth the price. Walked in and there was a dead crab floating upside down in the tanks. Too loud to hear each other, slow service but the steak was terrible. Wasn’t cooked properly and practically all fat. Amazing truffle fries but overall, this restaurant is over-rated. Huge disappointment for a celebration.
Best steak and kong crab in london!
Great ambience and food with just the most wonderful staff.
First impression was the atmosphere, imagine you sit on the very long table like the one in Harry Potter dining table. Wine list was pretty extensive, from many countries, with few bottles older than 2009 and 2000 which restaurants in London normally provide new vintage after 2010. Food taste, I was impressed more by many appetisers than the steak, however the cooking ripeness is just right. Average check is around GBP 110 per person, not including wine.
Beast is a real treat. Beautiful decor, friendly, knowledgable staff and amazing food. The steak to share and sides were a highlight. Next time I go I’d skip the starters which even though tasty were overpriced and go for the crabs legs. Also get a cocktail. Yum.
