Offering communal dinning at its finest, you will seated at impressive six meters long tables custom made from air-dried English Benchmark oak.
First time visit here after hearing good things and the odd negative comment, went here as a booking of 6 for a department lunch.
First things first.... as has been mentioned; its expensive; very expensive! Some of the prices quite eye watering and I’m not sure I’d rush back due to that. Maybe this high price point reinforces a bit of a snooty attitude from one or two staff.
But the core reason for attending is obviously the food and this is good, really good. I went for the steaks but left having been far more impressed with the seafood
We opted for starters of two seafood platters and a load of crabs legs.... shame we couldn’t stretch to a whole Norwegian King Crab but at £120/kg (plus 12.5%) and the smallest available being 3.10Kg we left that!!! What I would say though is that what we had was lovely, the crab legs especially.
Main course was a selection of bone in rib eye, a porterhouse, chateaubriaund and wagyu. Must confess the wagyu was tasteless and very disappointing but everything else absolutely fantastic and very tasty.
Deserts nearly passed us by as they wanted us out for a private function and to be honest what we had was average but still perfectly nice.

The server was extremely helpful and guided me throughout the steak selection process and was very thorough. Ambiance is great and the food was exceptional. I would definitely go back and encourage others to try it out.

If steak is your thing, then this is an absolute must. Wow, did the food 'float my boat' simply the best steak I've ever had, and I've eaten in many very good steak restaurants in my time. Expensive, but worth it, definitely!
Wait staff seemed to be severely understaffed and stressed and it showed on their faces and vibes and it was easy for us to absorb that stressed energy and sense why there were delays in serving and problems we saw with other customers

We got our table half an hour early which was good since the introduction of the concept of fixed meat volumes took some time. We decided on 1 kg/4 persons and chateubriand which was excellent. We could divide this 50/50 as regarding the preparation time of the meat. The red Malbes from Argentina was fantastic and among the best I've tried. The starter (shrimp) and dessert (creme brulee) were also excellent.
High quality food. Our waiter was a bit difficult but the food did not disappoint. The family style table seating took some getting used to but it was cool because we ended up next to a former manager of an EPL football team.
Amazing food, aesthetically the plates were impressive. Good choice of drinks as well. Not so keen on the sitting plan. Struggled to be sitting next to your only guest

Great ambience and food with just the most wonderful staff.
First impression was the atmosphere, imagine you sit on the very long table like the one in Harry Potter dining table. Wine list was pretty extensive, from many countries, with few bottles older than 2009 and 2000 which restaurants in London normally provide new vintage after 2010. Food taste, I was impressed more by many appetisers than the steak, however the cooking ripeness is just right. Average check is around GBP 110 per person, not including wine.
Beast is a real treat. Beautiful decor, friendly, knowledgable staff and amazing food. The steak to share and sides were a highlight. Next time I go I’d skip the starters which even though tasty were overpriced and go for the crabs legs. Also get a cocktail. Yum.

What a find, great design downstairs, well thought through seating with plenty of space, and just the best steak I can recall, and I have done most of the high end London ones. Go for a proper blowout, it was £150 a head with decent wines, the downside is it makes having steak in more mundane restaurants decidedly less appealing

Pricy, but very good food, service was amazing, even managing to accommodate severe food allergies and dietary requirements. Steak was amazing, sides were great, would highly recommend for a special occasion. The drink I had, old fashioned, wasn't great at all, but everything else was. Pricy, but for a good steak place, in central London its understandable. Great for a special occasion.
Food was nice but very expensive and as such didn’t I feel represent great value.
There with clients who all said although the food was ok they probably wouldn’t go there again due to the cost and the fact that you can get a better dining experience if paying these sort of prices.

The service was great but the main course was a bit late. I had Waghu Rib Eye. It was amazing. The food was really excellent. Price was a bit on the high side.

Fleisch war grandios! Auf den Punkt gebraten , Beilagen haben mich nicht so umgehauen, aber mit dem Flesch kann man nichts falsch machen, war bereits das zweite Mal da und werde auch in Zukunft diese Steakhouse wieder besuchen!
If you want really fresh crab and lobster and very tasty quality beef, then this is the go to place. Mind you, You’ll pay for this quality but it is worth it. My wife and I had crab legs to start, which were delicious and the wagyu beef, which was probably the best steak we’d had anywhere. Slightly under cooked for what we’d ordered but almost perfect. I’m not to sure about the big long tables but this would only be a problem if they were really busy. Overall very smart restaurant and we’ll definitely return.
