Gorgeous food and brilliant service

Lobster was tasty, although i was expecting a bit more for the biggest size. Staff were nice and the place was clean and comfortable.

My first dining out experience after being diagnosed coeliac. Found the waiting staff very informed and attentive. Steak was delicious too!

Service was very good the staff were really attentive and friendly. However the food had a lot of coriander and personally I hate coriander and it wasn’t listed on the menu so it made the food quite inedible for both myself and my friend. I had the crayfish salad which was also dry and needed some sauce or flavouring. My friend had the prawns, mussels and clams in the tomato sauce which also seemed to have a lot of coriander which ultimately just ruined both our meals. Ambiance was good but I wouldn’t return.

Amazing experience for our first time back in a restaurant after the lockdown measures had been lifted. The staff were brilliant and made the evening very enjoyable. The food as great, especially the crab claws!

Dinner for 2 with wife on Friday night; pre-booked with COVID restrictions and had superb meal - starter of calamari excellent, had steak and lobster - steak was probably best had in Ireland - fantastic cut of beef perfectly cooked - and service excellent. Desert for her key lime pie and didn't even get a taste it was that good. Would definitely recommned!

It was nice food but it did lack flavour and wine was average. Service was very quick and staff are nice.

Great steak! Not quite how I wanted it cooked, but it was still a great steak. Staff are great, I like a place that serves you and lets you be.. a quick check that things are ok and that’s it. To be honest, I ended up booking a table here as the place I usually book wasn’t available, however I would happily return to Beef & Lobster again.

A nice relaxed atmosphere with cracking food and friendly (but not over friendly) staff. Wished we could have stayed longer or come more often.

Food was lovely, steak was perfect, fairly normal pricing for a steak place. Service was good for food but we spent nearly 20 mins trying to flag down a waiter (in a not full restaurant) to get the bill, eventually went the bar and paid. Wine was also dear, it appeared to be cheaper/as cheap to buy by the glass than by the bottle for the wine we wanted which is unusual (a glass was €8 and a bottle €38)

Always recommend when asked, both city center and Malahide. Service always fast and waiters know there stuff and always good for helping you decide. 3 course set meal is definitely the way to go. And their duck wings would make you never want chicken again

Absolutely amazing food, drinks and service !

The duck wing appetizer was excellent. The grilled lobster was as good as Maine. The shrimp with the surf and turf entree was a little small, but good.

Have been afew times and found this time they went very downhill.. the starters were smaller than usual. The mains were burnt (steak and burger) the presentation on the steak was really bad - no garnish or anything to dress the plate. Honestly the food is not worth the money. €100 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert. 2 diet cokes and 2 G&Ts. We got the manager about the poor food and in fairness she gave us a free round of drinks and dessert which was nice but honestly didn’t do them justice cause I won’t be back after that..

A place to drop in and eat quickly rather than sitting with friends and enjoying good conversation in a pleasant atmosphere.

The food was very good. The reassurant was completly booked, which normally is a good sign. But The music was to loud, what makes that people talk louder. All together is was very noisy diner.

Atmosphere was... average.. it was basically empty

We were eating out for my husbands birthday and he fancied steak so we picked here as it's their thing. It was a very busy saturday evening so it was bustling and quite loud. To their credit the waiting staff were great...friendly and super efficient. What let it down was we felt some of the food was a bit disappointing. The prawn and lobster fritters didn't particularly taste of either and my husbands rib eye steak was a bit over charred. On the other hand the duck wings are absolutely delicious, as are the brownie sunday and the profiteroles. Oh and the truffle fries are to die for! Overall we had a,lovely experience which was as much about the lovely staff as the food. I would say the disappointing food may have been due to how busy it was.

I had the lobster roll with the sauce on the side and duck wings for starter. The wings were nice but the lobster roll wasn't amazing. The next day I woke up with a rash all over my face that still hasn't cleared. It's definitely from the fatty sauce. I would go back but steer away from the roll. Also the waiters were checking in on us every 5 mins which felt a bit too much.
