The carne do sol (house cured beef with steamed yucca) and camarao alho e oleo (shrimp sautéed in oil, garlic and citrus) are also perennial favorites at Beija Flor. Of course you can add fried plantains and top off your meal with a cool, refreshing drink. For dessert, condensed milk flan or the nutella chocolate mousse.
Apart from being Brazilian the food wasn’t anyting special. We thought they prices were expensive and the location quite odd. Atmosphere, people, and drinks were great.
Great place. The food and ambiance was amazing. Would definitely come back.
Great little Brazilian spot. We went after Brazil won the world cup so it was loud with a live band but it was great.
The price is super high.
Overall food was good, i visit the restaurant two days in a row. Food was good, a bit disappointed with the caipirinhas, very bitter both days. Friday night live band was very good
Great food and Cocktails. Easy to find, feel-good warm atmosphere and decent not too loud music.
They have a new dish made out of pork belly which is served over a risotto. It was amazing! The caipirinha is delicious but very pricey for the pitcher. The appetizers that we ordered, the fried chicken and cheese bread (frango a passarinha e pao de queijo) were just like the ones served at the bar zinhos in Sao Paulo, if not better. The service was great, Eliene was very helpful explaining the dishes to my friends, coming to the table and talking to us to make sure everything was ok. Next time I will be coming during the day with my kids for them to try the fried chicken, they are going to love it. Definitely a great Brazilian restaurant from a Brazilian customer.
Alles in allem wirklich äußerst enttäuschend. Wer brasilianisches Essen kennt und liebt, sollte um dieses Lokal einen Bogen machen.
restaurant was decent. service was a little slow, but it was a busy night. music a little too loud for the size of the space, however this does seems to be a popular spot for locals.
They sat us and then forgot about us for an hour and half. We didn’t even get our dinner because the manager took our order and never put it in and the server was so upset because he had no idea. I was really looking forward to trying it out after seeing all the great reviews. Super disappointed.
We found this little Brazilian place next to our hotel.
The neighborhood does not look very nice, and the outside does not look like anything, however inside is a rustic looking place with a beautiful flower arrangement over the bar.
The place looks very friendly and lively with old and young crowds.
The food was interestingly good, the Brazilian flare and flavors were fantastic and the attention and service outstanding.
Great place to go
Nice environment with good mudic, I was for my birthday, delicious food
Great drinks and amazing food. Stuffed chicken is to die to.
We called in to confirm a reservation for the evening of New Year's Eve, two hours before their NYE party was starting. We arrived 15 minutes early and told the hostess we had reservations. She gave us an attitude and ran off for a few minutes. She came back, unset a beautifully made table so that there was no table cloth or anything on it, told us to walk around a ladder we could hardly fit by, and to squeeze onto a bench where a bunch of employees jackets and bags were blocking us from going. We sat there for 15 minutes and no one came over. Every single worker was hanging decorations, setting up a DJ booth, on a ladder, or hanging crystals off a fake tree. Finally, we got water. There were no apologies, no pleasantries, no menus. Just us sitting there. When we stood up to leave, a woman ran over and asked what we wanted. I told her it was unprofessional and rude how we were treated. If they couldn't accommodate customers, they shouldn't have allowed us to make reservations in the first place. We wont be going back.
I First time Brazilian experience and extremely impressed, lovely restaurant and plentiful portions - with a good choice of beers/cocktails. The service side of things does need work as the waiting staff came across on occasions dismissive and disinterested but maybe that was down to it just being a mid week Wednesday - would definitely visit again.
Been here 3 x in 3 weeks. Love this place! Food is really great and anyone I bring in just loves the place same!
Awesome food, awesome atmosphere! The staff was nice but took a while for some small things. My brother in law had to ask for a beer from 2 separate people 4 times before he got it. Again nothing major, just more attentiveness to folks.
Great brazilian restaurant/bar with live brazilian music.
My Girlfriend is from Sao Paulo, Brasil and she loves this place. That should be all you need to know. We have been trying out a lot of Brazilian restaurants in the city and Beija Flor moved to the top of the list. The picanha is the best we've had yet! Make sure to order a caipirinha as they are delicious and definitely do not skimp on the cachaca.
This Brazilian restaurant is quite a treat! The food is delicious! The sausage appetizer was amazing! So were the others. Highly recommended!
We loverd the food and the ambiance.
Excellent service and food!
The food is absolutely incredible. The pumpkin risotto is out-of-this-world good. I could eat it every day and never get sick of it. The yucca and salmon were also cooked perfectly.
A special Valentine's Day dinner was a real treat at Beija Flor! The restaurant was beautifully decorated and we got a bottle of delicious prosecco with our prix fixe meal. Service was excellent and the ambiance was low-key and pleasing. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the live Brazilian music but we will definitely be back!
Lovely place and good tasting, fresh cuisine. Dissapointed with the service at beginning of meal due to the waitress rushing us to order and standing at our napes since her shift was ending. When she left, another waiter took over to our relief and he was very courteous.
All good for us, until the waiter, a Brazilian who spoke fluent English, took my request in Portuguese (I'm American who speaks English and has a terrific command of Portuguese) and returrned the check to her (Brazilian). At that point he got 15% tip as opposed to the 25% I was goimg to leave. Good food, nonetheless.
