They called us in say us down and forgot about us. I don’t know now the chef became a chef, the food was absolutely tasteless
The food was very good, we enjoyed sitting at an outside table watching the activity on Mulberry Street but we had the worst waiter ever… He was very rude . He brought us a wrong cocktail and got angry when we pointed out the mistake. He took 3 out of 4 of our food orders but walked away before taking our fourth friend’s order. When we called him back to take her order , he snapped his fingers and said “Rapido” (in other words - hurry up & tell me your order). Luckily the owner was there and very attentive and when we explained the rudeness of our waiter, he said he is short handed & can’t get anyone else to work right now . We enjoyed our food so we would return as long as we have a different waiter …Hopefully they replace him soon (the table across from us had the same guy & were also treated poorly) We didn’t let it ruin our night since the other employees were very friendly and helpful and we asked them when we needed things knowing that our waiter was obviously having a very bad night.
We went for a graduation dinner with a voucher from Pulsd, we made the reservation and the owner proceeded to literally curse us out when we mentioned we had it. The server also had the worst attitude. The food was mediocre at best. Will never return.
Food was terrible. Typical tourist trap
My favorite place!!! Great as always! 💪 good food & amazing service 👍❤️ satisfied 100%
Carbonara is a winner 😍
Great food and very nice service! Extremely friendly.
Food was so so. Waiter very friendly
This was my first time coming here and I loved it. Our server was super friendly and attentive. Our pastas were great, all of my friends were very happy with their meals.
I am astonished on how this place didn’t have a mile of customers outside. The food/ambiance/service is simply impeccable! The meatballs here are a stunning example of perfection and balance of flavor. I tasted Italy in every dish!
the best dinner I ever had. the food it's impressive, awesome staff and beautiful ambience. the bruschetta Pomodoro was crunchy and full of flavor in full Italian style. the pizza oh my god the best in Little Italy. the Gnocchi was incredible, the sauce had so much flavor on it, reminds me my grandma. the staff was fun and very nice, very good service, they will take care of you with the gorgeous homemade focaccia they gave at the start of the dinner. I will definitely come back here ♥♥
Felt like you were in Italy, everything was very authentic and it was a perfect date night in Little Italy :)
First of all the drinks were perfect! I got the sangria that was so fruity and delicious! I got a great meal excited to come again!
It was a very nice dinner and the staff was very friendly
Stunning restaurant! Outstanding dining experience for all of my party. The venue is grand, majestic and lively. The atmosphere is simply impeccable. Huge beautiful plants all over the floor and the patio, yet the candle lit room is super cozy. From the get go we felt the right energy. The music selection is positive and non commercial or cheesy like many of the Italian restaurants in mulberry street. But they really shine when it comes to their attentive service and delicious generous food. We tried an assortment of classic italian antipasti and besides the perfectly cooked mix fried of calamari, shrimp and salmon we had the most delicious meatballs. The chef knows how to perfectly balance the ingredients (meat/bread/garlic/cheese) and their tomato sauce has no rivals in NYC. We also had their NY strip steak (they use only Meats from Pat La Frieda) and a couple of the fresh pasta on the specials of the day; black squid ink linguine and pappardelle with imported porcini mushrooms (I will be there more often just because the porcini mushrooms sauce tasted exactly like the one I had a couple of years ago on my trip to Tuscany). Their desserts selection was also interesting, but we only had a pistachio truffle to share since we were full. We Will be back next week for the sunday brunch, since they also have live entertainment. Our server Joselito was adorable, if I could give him 10 stars I would be very happy. Please go and see with your own eyes, they will give you a unique experience. Belissima Bella Ciao!!
It is recommended by my friend and I feel it is one of the best Italian restaurant I have ever tried in NY. The Caprese is simple but the cheese is really soft, better than those I bought from supermarket. My friend ordered the pasta and there is a lot of seafood on the top and the taste is delicious as well. During COVID they have established an outdoor space for dining, highly recommend it and will definitely try later for Italian food.
I love this place! Absolutely amazing! We had so much fun ! Food is great, stuff is so cool , amazing atmosphere ! The best tiramisu I ever had by the way 😍 I wish I knew about this place before!!!!
Had an amazing time dining with friends for an event. We truly felt the New York City dining experience resurrect that night.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Bella Ciao! I was there on a night where their downstairs venue, The Producer Table, held a special event with a 5 course meal and live entertainment! Such a treat. The food and service was amazing. I have also been a patron of the upstairs venue for dinner and the food never disappoints. Looking forward to dining here again.
Great outdoor seating and location! They have gluten free pasta option.
I was visiting NYC and stopped by Bella Ciao for dinner.
I love the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant and the staff was extremely friendly.
The food very authentic Italian and very delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back on my next visit to NYC.
Loved the courses we had in this dinner. Very well portioned and taste great
This place is amazing!! The food was fresh and prepared beautifully! Me and my friends enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was so sweet and brouht our orders out right away! I cannot wait to go again!
Food came out fast, hot, and super delicious! Everyone enjoyed everything and the noodles for the pasta itself were so delicious and perfectly made! I recommend the fettuccini Alfredo which I ordered, and after tasting everyone else's I found this to be the best! Very delicious would definitely eat at again if I were in NYC!
The service here is outstanding, it made our experience !! The food was good, definitely homemade pasta, but the service was what would bring me back.
I had a perfectly lovely dinner here tonight replete with salad, wine, pasta & dessert for affordable-ish prices for NYC. I'm sure it was full of tourists but it didn't feel touristy. Warm and intimate upstairs dining room & a livelier and larger downstairs dining room. The caprese salad was especially delicious with the freshest mozzarella cheese I've eaten in a while. My veggie ravioli was tasty and light. Decaf affogato for dessert topped off a nice dinner. Great service. Go.
10 out of 10 can’t wait to go back!
Ten out of ten. Just can’t get enough of how much culture and great food this place has. Also a great drink menu! I can’t wait to come back!
Great venue, great food, great experience, Comedy show was amazing. Will definitely be back
Great food along with a great show in their awesome space! Can’t wait to go back again
Everything at this restaurant was phenomenal. The food, drinks, ambiance, and one of a kind service made my regular night out extraordinary. Would highly recommend!
Was invited to view the private room downstairs for a future event. I end up staying for a delicious meal and a memorable night of comedy! It’s the best kept secret in NYC. The ambiance is simply sumptuous and reminding of the early prohibition years. The italian food is with no doubt the best I had in long time! I am italian and I cook like everyone in my family for generations, I recognize when the ingredients are prime quality and when pasta is al dente or not. I will go back happily, if possible every week! Awesome gem of a venue!
after shot down I went back and it was very good the waiter was attentive I had pappardella with funghi excellent i definely come back
The food here is amazing! Great atmosphere and service was friendly and quick! I'd give Bella Ciao 5 stars and definitely recommend to friends and family. I'll be coming back here for sure!
I was so concerned how terrible the service was. The owner walks around asking tables “is this your order”. We waited 1 hour and a half for one appetizer and finally left because of the wait and how unorganized it is here. Wow guys don’t go here it’s not good at all !!!!!! Dirty bathroom too bad covid protocols
Homemade pasta, and overall food from scratch means a lot. Interesting cocktail menu, you gotta try the signature ones
Young, attentive and modern staff.
Restaurant renovated from the old idea of "little Italy", with a finally attentive look at the real NYC, at the locals, at the people who want to start reliving the streets of the city, in their neighborhood, being able to enjoy high quality drinks, refined and made with fresh and natural products.
Large, huge interior space with considerable distances between the tables, the possibility of sitting outside for those who want not to give up the last warm rays of the sun.
Excellent selection of hot cocktails for the winter that is almost upon us.
Great job guys!
very good food the waiter Denny’s was very nice and attentive I will go back
Had a great time eating with a group of friends! I come here often in a small group or large group. I love the pasta with pesto, it’s delicious! The staff is very friendly and all very kind. Definitely will be going back!
