BELUGA - Persian Restaurant & Bar
The food is good. Portions are big so they are worth the price for them. The service is terrible: the lady that served us was unpleasant, never smiled, had a look on her face that it was I who banned her father from Iran in 1979. We were celebrating our son's birthday and brought our own cake and asked to bring it in. They charged us for this 5 GBP for not even putting it on a plate, putting the knife and spoons in one pile to help ourselves. The service is below what you expect in a restaurant called Beluga. It would be perfect in Kebab House fast food. Don't go there on occasions. They have clients. Maybe if you are no Persian. It's my personal impression.
Mixed grill was very nice as was the rice. The side salad was utterly uninspired (literally few leaves and coarsely chopped tomatoes thrown together, no dressing).
Very opulent decor and nice location...but the state of the bathroom was totally disgusting.
Staff were pleasant and attentive enough.
Outstanding in every possible way. Highly recommended.
From the beginning if felt like the staff didn't want our party in the restaurant. Also all the meat served was over cooked.
Service was friendly, efficient. I thought the food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent value too.
Food is really excellent and one of the best Persian restaurants in London. Highly recommend the Chenjeh and Koobideh. The Khoresht (Ghormeh Sabzee in particular) is really amazing.
The food and space was nice but the same song was repeat for the whole evening
A bit pricey but the food quality and quantity very good plus excellent service
Très bien pour le cadre et la nourriture est superbe.
This was a great experience. True and genuine persian food. Very nice staff.
Absolutely worth a visit. I know I will come back.
Though not a problem, but the cheap pop music was a bit too loud.
Great restaurant, quality of the food can be tasted. Great service highly recommended.
Exemplary dining experience - my favorite dishes veal kubedi, Khoresh Ghemeh Badingan and chelo -- all prepared as if eating in family kitchen. Hard to leave anything on our plates!
Service was well-timed and friendly; food was exceptional and amazing; we actually had returned and definitely would return many more times;
Tutto buonissimo . Carne meravigliosa specialmente le
Costine di agnello .
Riso allo zafferano ottimo
Tutto a base di zafferano e pistacchio.
Iraniano al 100 per
Excellent food and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
The Service here is incredibly dissatisfiying they brought our starters after exactly 50mins then our main 39mins after the workers are very sloppy I would not recommend it
The place Is not cozy and has no character . It looks more of a night club than a restaurant ! Waiters not attentive and not friendly . The food was big disappointment . The sabzi was poor and the fasanjun was extremely sour and the kobeida wasn’t cooked well . The food portions were small especially the salad . The prices are too high for the quality of food and the service provided. It was not pleasant experience at all . Never again
Good food and nice ambience
have all the traditional dishes
the place was divine, food was excellent massive portions..will def come back again!
Don't miss the stews!! We ordered N 53,57 and 59. Really big portions and really tasty!
The food is satisfactory but too expensive!
Well presented and well organised restaurant. I cannot give a full resume of the food from only one visit but the grilled lamb was served to my taste and there was plenty of it. Pricing is competetive for this part of town
Excellent food, served beautifully, very attentive staff. Evidently spent a great deal of time and funds decorating the rooms, elegant furniture yet relaxed and comfortable.
Do recommend highly.
Food was v good apart from chicken kebab was a bit dry. Service was very relaxed so we had to keep asking for things which began to grate but child friendly. Lighting coukd be dimmed for more ambiance but good food. Tadick on rice could be more crisoy too..and they should be aware tgat not everyone likes radical rice.
My fav Persian restaurant so far, I would firstly like to say amazing the food taste 10/10 made to perfection, the decor and ambiance of the restaurant is of an extremely high standard and finally the service from the wonderful staff is very warm and friendly. Highly Recommended.
My first time in this restaurant , persian restaurant and I will go more nights .For Starter had Iranian caviar then had Gheimeh which is meat pieces and aubergine cooked on tomato sauce(very tasty ) with balanced spice .Followed by Iranian pistachio ice cream .I have to say I never had such delicious ice cream .
Staff very friendly and inside restaurant had elegant decoration .
I definitely recommend this restaurant.
We really enjoyed ourselves in this wonderful and dazzling restaurant. We stayed for almost 3 hours enjoying all the amazingly fresh and deliciously taste. Each course was incredible, so fresh and well balanced flavours : Definitely the best lentil soup I've ever had. And I have had many. The crispy rice and stew starter (Ghorme) was also delicious.congratulation to the chef!!
Decoration was beautiful and staff were very kind.
I definitely recommend beluga Persian grill and Bar and I will go again with my friends .
Wonderful time and food. I really enjoyed my evening and the chicken was delicious. Staff were very kind and attentive. Great decor also in the place. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends and family.
By far the best Persian restaurant I’ve been to. Lovely decor, attentive team, nicely presented dishes, AMAZING QUALITY (Baghala-Polo & lamb shank is superb and huge!), and very good price :) definitely going to invite family and friends.
Great food and wonderful staff, the meat and rice options are great.
Best Persian restaurant in London !!
Staff were welcoming and the restaurant is in an accessible location. Food was excellent with portions perhaps a little generous for lunchtime.
The food quality is subpar, I ordered makhsoos, the Koobideh(beef skewer) tasted terrible and the chicken was very dry and taste less. Do not recommend especially if you’ve had Persian food before as you will be very disappointed.
Service was OK, I complained about my food and the manager just removed the meat skewer and warmed up the chicken and rice and brought it back!! He did not even ask me whether this would be ok with me. More of a “customer comes last” approach!
Awful... as a Persian I refuse to eat at such a place with no soul, no ambient, no taste and bad service.
They have to work so hard to survive.
This new Notting hill restaurant Excellent authentic Persian food in a nice decor.
