Great quality food. set menu for lunch was very good. Ambience was good, except for the scaffolding outside.
They allowed the table next to us to bring 2 dogs into the restaurant for indoor seating. One of the dogs was very disruptive. It kept jumping up on the booth and hitting my husband with its tail, licking my husband under the table and hitting its tail on our table. When we asked to be moved to another table, the waiter rudely told us we would have to wait. Overall we were treated poorly because we didn’t want to eat our $30-35 steak while trying to make sure a stranger’s dog tail didn’t end up in our plate.
I would highly recommend. The food was exquisite and the service fantastic.
Love this place - will be back very soon
Amazing service, amazing food. 10/10
I have eaten at Bernardi's four times over the past year. I love the atmosphere, location and menu but the service is always lacking. The servers are handling too many tables at once and when you constantly have to look for them or remind them that you need something it becomes a bit annoying. If they could figure this out then I'd give a higher rating.
Tasty food and friendly service. Portions on the small side, but enough
Always fond of Bernadi’s

Mushroom soup and broccoli side were exceptional!
For breakfast, lunch and Dinner, this has to be one of the best places to eat in London at the moment. We had the lightest pizza to start with cod and tuna main courses all excellent. Recently home made made pasta was something to write home about.
Wine is good and well priced..
Excellent service as always - staff are super nice and food always reliable
My favourite Italian restaurant in London! Great food and service.
Delicate food and wines
Great lunch at Bernardi’s. Tasty food nice ambiance. I found it quite expensive but for sure i will be back.
Lovely neighborhood restaurant with great vibe. Lovely food and wine and friendly, happy service.
Très bonne découverte, les plats étaient très bien présenté, et très bon, dommage que nous n’ayons pas eu de serveur pour nous expliquer les plats, le fromage, ou pour nous conseiller.
Nice food and great service. Went for a lunch with an old colleague and had a nice meal whilst chatting and catching up.
The food was excellent and there was a lovely gentle buzz. However, we did have to ask the waiters several times for our wine and the patate fritter arrived after our main course which was disappointing.
Three of us had an outstanding meal at Bernardi's on a busy Saturday night. The food was excellent, the service attentive but not overbearing and the ambience of the room was such that we could carry on a conversation without having to speak too loudly. All in all it was an outstanding evening.
Absolutely loved every aspect of this restaurant. The food is outstanding, freshest ingredients, prepared to perfection especially the buratta with blood orange and heritage radicchio and the carpaccio. The service is attentive and friendly whilst not being intrusive and they have an impressive selection of wines all at reasonable prices. The cocktail list is also excellent and could tempt you into staying from brunch to dinner to try them all out.
Delicious food, good atmosphere. Would definitely go again.
Good food and drinks. The service could have been a lot better, our waitress made a mistake in our order. Not a big deal and it happens and the manager apologised but our waitress didn’t even acknowledge the error. They also served our food twice when there was no one at our table (my friend and nipped to the toilet and then I had to take a call outside - both times the waiters tried to leave our food growing cold at the table rather than wait 2 minutes for our return). For a meal for two we were charged £180 so would expect a higher level of service.
Warm and friendly welcome and tasty food - great neighbourhood restaurant for a relaxing lunch or dinner.
Great fun for all ages; great food, welcoming, unfussy but smart, they really think about the details - they even allow dogs!
This restaurant was an amazing find! The food and cocktails were excellent and the service was professional, warm and friendly.
Good place food good great for a date, the service was good cock tails very good you can buy wine by the carafe which helps when only one of you drinks red wine.
It is a great restaurant, tasty food, with a good service, friendly staff.
It has a smart interior and a lovely ambiance but is relaxed. We had excellent service and delicious food.
Good food and service
Great place with excellent service and perfect food !
Good food and service- pasta mains a little expensive. Wine selection and cocktails very good - lovely staff
I went for lunch with my granddaughter. Our welcome and the ambience was excellent. My granddaughter is Vegan and I have an allergy to chilli, both requests were dealt with professionally and with a smile. It was no trouble. We ordered, service was prompt but not rushed, so far so very good. I had prawns as a starter, they were hard and very dry, the sauce was ‘watery’. Onto the main dish, my granddaughter was happy with her pasta, I had lamb. How disappointing! The meat was extremely chewy, to the point that it was difficult to eat, and the vegetables tasteless. I have visited beforehand for brunch and the meal was pleasant. All in all, it would seem that the chef was not up to standard. Sharron Phillips
First visit, won't be the last. The food was great - best beef carpaccio I've ever had. Pasta was on-point, main of lamb delish, and the desserts got a thumbs-up too. But the star of the show was the service. It wasn't intrusive, but it was super-professional. Every time I looked up to get someone's attention, they were there in a flash. All in all, a lovely evening.
Duck Pappardelle on Monday evening was bitter. Not rich as normal. A bit disappointing. Pointed out the likely component/cause to waiter and requested chef be informed.
Unfriendly front of house, offered an unsuitable table but was moved. Staff not quite sure who was supposed to be doing what. Although waiting staff were friendly. Food was very good.
On arrival our table was ready .courtiously shown to our table drinks order taken within a few minutes . We had cocktails to begin with which were amazing .we had various starters but notably was the carpaccio of beef which was very good then went onto main course which we had crab linguine again fantastic.after our main meal we had to have dessert ,so what better way to Finnish off an Italian meal than having tiramisu .
Overall a great experience and can not wait to come back.
Food was very good, but service was not realy friendly. And it was very loud for conversation. The Tiramisu was very delicious.
The food was great. The only drawback was the noise. So many restaurants are far too noisy these days. It makes having a conversation difficult. Restaurants can reduce noise by adding items like carpets and table linin. Modern minimalist design is hard on the ears and bad for the vocal chords. Restauranteurs need to be reminded their eating establishments are not nightclubs, discos or concert halls.
Fantastic evening until we were picked on ..... apparently there was a two hour window..... not at all mentioned in the booking but a waiter who we hadn’t seen all night suddenly told us ‘ all of london has one’ ( ie two hr window) we had not long been offered and bought another bottle of wine.... clearly an attempt to gain all the money yet not offer a comfortable service. The table next to us did not get asked to move even tho they were only fifteen minutes behind us! I decided as we were 3 women we were seen as an easy target! The waiters were lovely- just this one guy who tried to evict us! Lovely food so a shame about our treatment!
