Bernardi’s is a restaurant and bar that opened in September 2015. Located in Marylebone, London, the restaurant is set over 2 floors on a beautiful corner site. The menu is simple, modern Italian that's traditional and casual at heart, but with a youthful fresh approach. On the ground floor you will find the main restaurant, with The Dog House (the cocktail bar) located below.
Bernardi’s provides an exciting dining destination within the Portman Estate, offering everything from lunch and brunch to dinner and evening cocktails.
Bernardi’s has been included in the Michelin Guide to date.

Absolutely amazing, excellent food! We will come back for sure ☺️
Great atmosphere, great service. Food was delicious! Would recommend for a lovely night.
We love the place, terrific food and welcoming staff.
It’s a very cozy place with delicious food! The service was excellent as well. It’s not a particularly cheap restaurant, but it was worth it. In London you find much less impressive places in this price range + the restaurant had an excellent discount offer that day! We‘ll definitely be coming back - it’s now one of our favorites!
Good italian food, service good but not overly friendly. Had 20% off with open table. Would be over priced otherwise
Great service and lovely food. Would return again for sure...
Great food and service as usual. For us I is the best Italian in the area.
Food quite bland compared with previous visits & side dishes uninspiring
Bernardi’s is a very reliable Italian restaurant in an excellent location near Marble Arch with good food and nice vibe. All food was very good, the service is excellent and the wine list well chosen if rather expensive. The 25% off offer is very welcome and indeed recommended, since it brings the prices into a more reasonable range. If you drink good wine, I would expect to pay about £60-70 per person for a 3-course dinner, after discount with 12.5% service included. The service is actually worth it.
This was an anniversary dinner and we’d been meaning to try here for a while as locals. Our cocktails at the bar followed by a three course dinner were excellent. Great atmosphere, great food and ambience. We couldn’t be happier and only sorry we’ve been going to an average restaurant closer to us more frequently! We look forward to our return.
Delicious food as always - we always have a wonderful meal and great time here. One of our favourites.
Pasta were very good , especially the pumpkin ravioli.
We had a great early evening dinner at Bernardi's, it really was astonishingly very good... The service was faultless, impeccable , friendly, knowledgeable, delightful! ...(I think the waitresses name was Emilia? absolutely charming) .. The food wholesome, flavoursome, authentic and and lots of it!.. best gnocchi I've ever tasted but everything my wife and I had was delicious, (we did eagerly try each others dishes with some gusto I must say)... Great wine list, cocktails and 25% off the bill!!! We'll definitely be back... Well done to all at Bernardi's
We did enjoy dinner.
One of our party had a number of serious allergies - the staff and kitchen could not have gone further to help out in a respectful and discrete manner.
This was enhanced by the excellent food and the fact they allow dogs.
Will be a regular customer now!
Really good Italian restaurant with a great selection of starter mains and dessert, lovely details service, will definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Great food, really tasty, in a great ambiance and very good service
NYE 2020 last minute booking. Service was impeccable and food/drinks were delicious.
Very nice Italian restaurant with a good menu and properly prepared selections.
Really enjoy this restaurant food is authentic and very well made, always. The bottomless Prosecco was a winner and the service is both friendly and slick. Top marks all around.
Menu had happy hour options on it but then they told us happy hour wasn’t on weekends. Ambiance was stunning.
We were a party of 4 and everyone liked their meals and appetizers. However the service was abysmal. Our waitress never introduced herself to the table but instead wandered to other tables while we struggled multiple times to get her attention. She barely interacted with us and seemed annoyed every time we *did happen to speak to her. Another waiter came by and rudely asked me, after being seated for 20 minutes, whether I was going to order soon due to another reservation that happened to be 1.5 hrs later. The snobby attitude is what I could have done without, not sure we why we were treated with such disregard. Pretty low standards for Marylebone.
Great Brunch menu!
Arranged a business lunch at the restaurant. The food was excellent and service was also very good. I'd happily go back there for the same.
Fantastic. We will return soon!
Good food with a nice social atmosphere
Always a hit. Great drinks and ambiance but could do with a few more vegetarian friendly dishes and options with less cheese. Never a let down coming here and the pizzette is to die for.
Today's lunchtime visit to "Bernardi's" met usual expectations. Highlights were my Truffle Crostini starter and the (i) [soft] Chocolate Cake and (ii) Panettone [pudding] desserts, all of which were outstandingly tasty. My lunch companion's set-menu Mushoom Crostini starter and Rigatoni main were reportedly enjoyable, if slightly salty; while my small Lobster Pappardelle main was too small, and a tad too lemony. Otherwise, the service and ambiance were as good as ever, so still a firm recommendation.
Like this place but food was very average and the veal was awful.
Exquisite experience. Amazing food and drink. Attention to detail re allergies.
Great place and food
Great place, food, ambience and service
I enjoyed my food but my guest struggled with her scrambled egg. We had to ask for toast to go with it despite including it in the order and then we had to ask for butter to go with the toast. I hadn't realised it was a dog-friendly restaurant. I like dogs but my guest is terrified of them and her meal was ruined.
We brunched at Bernardi’s on a Sunday morning at the restaurant open (11am). The staff was superb and very attentive (some less experienced however). Overall a pleasant experience, the food was very good and quite original (pancakes with orange marmalade was a nice touch). Overall a nice place for a date or friends brunch.
Great friendly service
I'd been to "Bernardi's" for weekend brunch previously and was very impressed, so was looking forward to trying it for dinner. I was not at all disappointed -- the standard was high across the board -- and the two friends I introduced this restaurant to found it an amazing experience.
Service was poor, cutlery missing from table, starters arriving minutes after pre-drinks cocktails arrived, bread forgotten, arriving after starter finished. Food was tasty let down by service.
A wonder place, great good, great service. The owner Marcello & Gabriel are such a good host!
Great spot for a meal - there is a very well priced with good choice fixed lunch menu and good looking a la carte menu. Decent, well priced wine list and very good but unobtrusive service.
