The food was was a nice take on Mexican or South Central food. I liked that local ingredients were sourced, it tasted like there were real ingredients used and it was healthy and not heavy or greasy. The portions were generous and the prices were fair. I loved the freshness of the margarita as well.

Delightful atmosphere, incredible food and drinks. Our server (Selena) was excellent - attentive with great recommendations. We had the ceviche and macha wedges - both were served beautifully and had fantastic flavor. Can't wait to come back!

The food was good. Our waiter was a bit “quirky” but ok. He got our drink order wrong 3 times which was a bit much. A few things would take this place to 5 stars aside from that. One the bottled margaritas was terrible and weird. Offering craft margaritas would be more consistent w the outstanding food. Second there was an abundance of meat w the tacos (consistent w price which was fine). In fact the waiter said was 3:1 ratio and he was correct. Simple cheap fix is supplying chips or tortillas on the side. We ordered chips and received a small dish that helped scoop up the meat (topped some of the beans and rice sides we ordered…it was delicious) but be customer friendly and just provide these to take this place up a star or two at a limited expense to the owners.

First time eating here. Unbelievable!! The staff is super passionate about the menu and had great recommendations. I understand now why they were James Beard recognized! The food was outstanding and super creative yet very approachable. I can’t say enough great things about Bibisol!

As with many downtown locations, the atmosphere is more laid back and speed is not a factor. Having said this, we didn't get waited on for 20+ minutes after we got our table. It took a long time to get our food too. Again, if you aren't in a hurry or have another commitment, it's likely not an issue. The food taste was as expected for authentic Mexican.
