Terrible food, seafood not fresh, chips burnt and soaking in old burnt oil 🤮

The Big Easy, what can you say about the Big Easy other than its on the Kinds Road, great food, has a good feel about the place and have been going there for years.

We was waiting for service, in between meals and spoke to two people a ordering more food and the couldn’t help as they was just serving.
The lady taking orders was over worked

The staff as always are super friendly and food is absolutely amazing 👏

My regular place i like to visit even though I don't live local but still worth it. Food is top quality and service is superb!

Lobster sizes fluctuates, just stick to 1.5lbs. Food is still Nice though, I love it.

I didn’t like the service because I’ve been asking for something to find something to break the lobster about 30 minutes but I waitress didn’t give much importance for it so after waiting 30 or more she brought it , basically I ate a cold lobster.

Love Big easy and the food is really good but we had a terrible night with service and food. Not enough staff able to take orders.

There is a really good atmosphere here with live music. The food is consistently good too and the service was quick.

Unfortunately this restaurant is not what it used to be. Always been one of my favourite places. The food has changed. The 1.5lbs lobster looks like a giant shrimp. They don’t serve the correct sauces anymore with the proteins and the service was seriously lacking. Incorrect wearing of the face mask!

Bottomless brunch - took 35 minutes to receive our first drink. Had to keep asking staff for top ups. Steak was over done and tough - inedible. A shame because we are regulars at the bottomless brunch and really enjoy it. Would recommend Covent Garden over Chelsea.

No social distancing and the bathrooms were very dirty. Food was decent, but not as good as we expected. Anyhow the service was very good and the waitress was very friendly and helpful.

The chips were way to big and way to hot the children’s meal didn’t have much variation and didn’t have smaller portions for younger children meaning a lot of food got wasted. While you wait for the chips to cool down you eat something else and then they are cold. Though My waiter was very nice

The food was not great neither was the service. Had to wait over 29 minutes for a drink, food was dry!
The best thing about this restaurant was the live band other then that I wouldn’t recommend to be honest!
Also the women’s toilets were disgusting both of them !

Restaurant was packed with tables not much distance between some of them however temperatures were checked on arrival

Food was very average and a bit disappointing- lobster bake in particular- mussels very small and a bit chewy, crab claws did not contain much meat and only one prawn

Sat down at your tables only to be asked to move due to the other table waiting for other people to sit. We moved with no thank you or anything. Also we went for the express lunch menu to be told they're not doing it for a while. Even though there was no mention on the site. Meaning having to spend £50 more then we would have liked

Disgraceful ignorance of social distancing in the basement dining area. Music was loud which encouraged people to shout or at least speak loudly. Tables were not properly spaced and ventilation was minimal. Food and service were basic. Really this restaurant has declined in quality over the past few years. A shame.

The food was amazing and the staff very friends. It was a busy evening so we waited for a while for our drinks but overall it is a great place and has great energy!

Loved the restaurant! The daily specials are very good value for money! Good food and good atmosphere! Only thing I would say is staff could be a little more friendly, they did not speak much at all to us and were very late giving the beers. We went for the Monday special and it was amazing, good eating challenge, and next we want to try the Tuesday shrimp special! Did not try the lobster but it smelt amazing! Would highly recommend!

Kings road rules for happy hour does not match their website especially on the on Sunday. Be sure to ask about happy hour before you start ordering your drinks that’s how they make their money!

Really gone down hill the lobster was over cooked. The lobster meal has now changed you have to pay for chips on top. They will trick you by saying do you want chips and then charge you for them they do not tell you that the menus has changed and you have to pay for them separately.

Overall not the best big easy experience Canary Wharf is better

Great place, great food, great service. What's not to like? Can't wait to go back. All the dishes were super tasty : chips, mushrooms, salad, crab, beef. And the shake was super too. Many thanks to the staff. They had a challenging task to look after so many of us. Till next time

Food is not bad but expensive for what you get. Fries could be included rather than extra.

We had a lovely time at the big easy! Food was delicious and service excellent made us feel welcome straight away! So glad they’re back open!

First time at Big Easy and we travelled from far. We loved it! The food was exactly what we expected and more. We had the sharing platter as a starter which was delicious followed by grilled bbq platter and original lobster roll as mains.

Everything was fab, as well as the service. The staff were efficient and friendly. The service was moderate but it was expected as it was fairly busy.

Will defo be back!

Firstly as this was the last night before lockdown I can understand that you would be very busy but last night ruined our date night.
We came all the way from north London to this restaurant and we was not told prior that you would not have some things on your menu which was the reason we came. There was no lobster or crab but on your menus you state you always have fresh lobster 2x a week being delivered. We were seated and the server was lovely but clearly she was looking over lots of tables which made her forget some things. We got our starters which I had to send back the calamari as it was so over cooked. We then ordered some more drinks and they didn’t come so I asked again the table next to us received some drinks and we still didn’t so I asked again and they gave our drinks to another table, our mains came and I eat my steak rare which should be very juicy but it was very dry like it had just came out the fridge cold and dry. I asked for some sauces but didn’t receive them at this point I had given up, we didn’t bother with dessert as I didn’t want to be more disappointed.

Last night before lockdown, well handled with SD and amazing food as ever.

Unfortunately we were bought the wrong order and then once delivered was plated in a rush and the same sauce had been put on all the meat detracting from it's individuality. Service was being smashed and they just seemed understaffed.

Also booked this for the first day of my honeymoon and marked that in the notes and didn't have any recognition of this from the front of house

The staff were all very nice and did the best that they could but there were far too few of them meaning long waiting times for food and drink which was frustrating considering there was a 10 pm curfew.
The food was very nice and the cocktails were excellent.
