Lovely brunch in a great venue with great service
A fantastic breakfast for our family and the staff and service were first class. We have booked again for before we leave Brighton.
1 hour wait for any food due to mix's up from order to kitchen. My food good due to choice. My guests thought OK.
Was a mix up with our starters but staff apologised and offered a free drink to compensate. Food when it came was excellant

We had made a booking so we stood at the front door waiting to give our names, we were at the front of the queue, and the waitress completely ignored us after I said hello , blanked us and looked straight ahead and started speaking to the visitors that were stood behind us.
Service very slow , food was ok, but I have had much better food and service on different occasions from Bills.
The food was lovely as always but the staff were amazing and very attentive. It must be hard during this time to manage so many tables Whilst social distancing but they did really well.

Staff were very good and constantly making sure we were okay, I had a bills burger that was slightly burnt on one side but not enough to be a big problem just meant it was a bit more crispy and not as juicy as my partners.

Went for brunch 2 days on the trot. The breakfasts are amazing. Around £60 for a family of 4 and kept us full all day. Staff are fab and the venue is very clean.
Eaten at Bill’s before but it was the first time in Brighton, as usual the food and restaurant were as expected. However the staff were significantly better in ever way than other Bill’s I have been to. Overall an outstanding experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The only reason I am giving Bills an impartial review is that upon arrival the service was impeccable, greeted well, our temperature taken and we were shown our seats. It took 25 minutes for us to be asked what we would like to eat, at this point it was 11.45am - the breakfast option should have been over as this ended at 11.30am.
I am a picky eater, and asked when the order was being taken if it was possible to have pancakes - the answer was no. The waiter then said they would ask the chef if they could whip up some pancakes - the answer was no and they refused to make any past the breakfast cut off.
This was my partners breakfast date for his birthday, and we were set on eating here. If we had been served sooner I potentially could of ordered my pancakes and we would of dined there on his special day. However, we were left with no option but to leave.
In future if there is a cut off on the breakfast please advise the customers of this. We were seated for 25 minutes before someone asked about what we wanted to order. It wasted the staffs time, filled out a table where we were not going to eat and our time.
Absolutely fantastic little place. The best breakfast we have ever had! Staff were also so friendly.
Not good social distancing, small portions and disappointing food and cocktails for the money
Our waitress was lovely but our order was totally wrong and we had to wait too long for the food

Nice staff good food but concerned re social distancing-restaurant busy and whilst mitigation In place concerns around feeling very close in some areas and especially once doors close a Ventilation reduced

It was good but given we are meant to be socially distancing, this really was the least socially distance restaurant I have ever seen, to be honest, sadly we also had to wait over an hour between starts and main and by that point, we were really just ready to leave. Sadly I would not rush back.

Very welcoming and very well organised set up (post covid) staff all very friendly and the timings of everything was perfect. Would happily be back again next time were in Brighton.

Lovely waiter, first meal out after lockdown and there were good measures in place.

Despite being very busy (Covid consequences) subsequently had to wait a while for service But Our server was polite and apologetic and brought us lovely meals Which took all frustration away.
This is a great place to eat and the service is always friendly. Our only comment is we were disappointed to find out that the 12.5% (optional) service does not go to the staff but to the company if you pay it on your card. Take cash to give those deserving staff their tip.

Great dinner with friends
The restaurant wasn’t very busy at all when we arrived, ordered drinks starters and main courses.
Starters came out relatively quick but then we waited over a hour after we had finished for a main course.
Seabass was also not cooked correctly would of said something but didn’t want to end up waiting longer.
I understand that with the news rules it’s going to take some time to get used to. But there wasn’t even a update or a apologies for delay
The food was lovely, the service was great, and staff were friendly and helpful.
Food was over priced, didn't get what was offered in the menu, no butternut squash in the salad and tasted bland. Disappointing compared to other Bill's I have visited. In the kid's menu my daughter's burger was over cooked and tasted burnt. Not great value for money.
Enjoyed being back. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was good although I do think the portion of macaroni as a main dish was rather lacking in quantity but delicious in flavour. The crumble wasn’t the best I’ve eaten there but was still very acceptable.I’m not happy with the service charge being automatically added to the bill mainly because the drinks are over priced which pushes up the cost and the tip. I know it says optional but it’s embarrassing asking for it to be removed so that you can give what you feel is appropriate. You could buy another main course with the tip! Overall it was a very enjoyable evening and we’ll certainly go back.
