Great food as always, unfortunately service was a bit slow on this occasion - I put it down to not having enough staff returned from furlough possibly? Staff were very friendly and communicated with us throughout.
Bill's is our favourite restaurant of choice. We go to Bill's for celebrations, but have been more often during this Covid period. We went on Wednesday as it was the last chance before lockdown. There were six of us and we all had a fabulous time. The service was great so was the food. Nothing to complain about apart from that we may not be able to return for quite some time.

Bills used to be a favourite place for brunch - this has now become far more expensive with vegetarian breakfast replaced by vegan meaning that you have to pay £2 more for eggs previously included. Also the Bills app was great as you could have a free coffee or rosti potato, these are all now extra. Additionally there has been little effort to distance the tables and on 2 visits we have felt crowded, having to squeeze past other tables.
This visit was also disappointing as the food taste was definitely a bit odd .... sadly in no rush to return even if it were possible - Bills have just lost genuine regulars
Myself and my sister visited Bills Brighton for brunch yesterday and had an amazing time. I had the Garden plate and both food and the service was great!

Let me start by saying, I love Bill's restaurant. Unfortunately on this occasion my experience was less than satisfactory. The service was dire and the food was not up to their usual high standard. Not sure if it had to do with the impending Covid restrictions, but they seemed to be running on empty the night we visited. Our waitress was unapologetic and dismissive all night, and in particular when we were told they'd run out of steak. We then waited 40 minutes for our mains (again no real apology or explanation) and another 25mins for pudding. And one of the puddings had to be sent back! Eton Mess was, quite frankly, a mess!
A lovely evening. Felt very safe with the covid measures in place and enjoyed our meal very much.
A great place to enjoy Breakfast, lunch or dinner. It’s my favourite venue from decor, service and tasty food all under one roof.

Lovely dinner for a family of four. The kids menu was great and the portions were just right for two hungry 9year olds. Staff was great very friendly atmosphere.

Food was great as always! My only comment - has the base of the Lemon Meringue Cheesecake been changed? It was soggy rather than a biscuit base

Normally use bills for breakfast as it is delicious and perfect portion size - Would always recommend!

Great;quirky place to eat. Good menu with a lot of choices. Starters and deserts are nice too. I recommend going here; in fact I’ve been twice in last 3 visits to Brighton. Would I go a 3rd time? Yes I would

Very disappointing we were asked to leave the lobby and wait in torrential rain for no reason until our cab arrived. The kids were freezing and soaked. Our waitress was the one who told us to wait in the rain.

Brunch on a Wednesday morning. Surprisingly busy but then it was half term. Lovely food and friendly staff as ever. We ran a bit late; they did their very best to still accommodate us (and succeeded!).
Would highly recommend, especially for brunch!
Excellent for brunch very enjoyable atmosphere
Food and service were brilliant. However when it came to paying the bill the receipt said 'optional 12.5% service charge' but when it came to paying there wasn't an option to cancel this. I don't mind tipping but thought this was a bit extreme and naughty that they put the full amount plus the service charge on the card paying machine.
To many people close together didn't feel safe. The crumble was stone cold and food took a long time to come generally. Disappointing.
Didn’t have the food in stock we both wished to order and the service was terrible
We were disappointed with our visit. We felt that the tables were very close together, we waited along time for starters and mains so we didn't bother ordering puddings. The chicken burgers didn't taste like they normally do, the kids said they had a curry flavour? We normally love a visit to bills but can't say we'll be rushing back.

It wasn’t the best evening. We are used to Bills in London which have a great vibe and the food is always delicious.
My daughters food arrived cold and then they heated it up (in microwave!) as still cold at the bottom and middle! My main was quite dry and not what we are used to at Bills. Also the hot chocolate brownie dessert also was cold. The Rose wine was not great, with only one option, you would think it would have been nice. They did deduct the kids meals, but overall very disappointing And wouldn’t go back there in a hurry!

We really enjoyed the excellent service, tasty food, and the covid safe environment at Bill's last Sunday. We had a couple of deliciouse starters - chicken bites and chicken skewers. Both were delicious. We then had the Crab Cakes for mains. Again, outstanding. The staff were polite, friendly and smiley (yes, we could see it in their eyes) from the moment we stepped through the door. Will be visiting again next time we're in Brighton.
