Our group had lots of vegetarians, and we really enjoyed the brunch options. We also brought along an energetic preschooler and were treated well. Service was great and bottomless drinks were refilled quickly. Would definitely bring guests back to the same spot in the future.

Second visit for a team lunch from work. Seating for larger groups is always good - usually at the back of the restaurant. Everyone was happy with their food - we only drank tap water. The staff were not very especially welcoming or cheerful, which was unfortunately noticeable. It didn’t spoilt our visit and we’re likely to return as the menu suits everyone and is a reasonable price point.

Booked a 7pm dinner slot at Bill’s Cambridge, to celebrate with a friend. The fish pie was exceptional, all food, including a vegan burger and the Halloumi fries, where amazing and the Pink Lemonade is unimaginably good. Was the quietest I’ve ever seen it, very relaxed and chill. If I had any criticisms, it would be chronically tight on the fries, really annoys me that £5 buys you one potato, would it kill you to fill the container and the fish pie was quite watery, showing a definite lack of mash potatoes. Overall another great meal at Bill’s.

I had the watermelon salad - I think it was called the Santorini salad. It was the nicest salad I have ever had! Very tasty dressing, pumpkin seeds, watermelon, feta cheese. I finished every last bit. Flatbread was also very nice. My friend had the brunch English breakfast which she thoroughly enjoyed. Nice atmosphere and quick service which was needed as we were off to the theatre after.

The food was great, the team were lovely, prices have gone up a lot recently with a bottle of standard wine being £33 and main courses over £15. I also noticed that they charge you to reply to the confirm your table text message which is a bit cheap.

We were welcomed with a smile and even as we walked to our table, staff were friendly and welcoming. We were tucked away in a corner with another big party of 7 who were extremely loud which made it hard for us to converse. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable but did leave us for long periods of time before we could ask for anything. Food was value for money and lots of it, quite tasty. Cutlery was dirty which is a huge bug bear of mine! Loved the kids eat free offer but we didn't know about this until we got the bill or we would have been more adventurous with our choice. We will come back however as the atmosphere is lovely and so is the food.

Ordered our food and this was delivered very quickly. The eggs royale was delicious with beautiful soft eggs and with a little hint of chilli which just added a little something extra. My other half ordered the full English breakfast and requested soft fried eggs which the waitress confirmed that they always come with soft eggs. When his food arrived neither eggs were soft and the sausages were barely warm but as quick as a flash this plate was removed and a replacement was given that was perfect. Apart from the one hiccup we would eat at Bill's Cambridge again.

A lot of staff but most of them standing around chatting and not looking out at the tables that needed to be served. So frustrating when you are sitting with a table full of dirty plates and the waiting staff are just laughing and joking around for ages. My food was ok but had been left under the lights for too long and was a bit crusty and hard. Shame as nice menu, nice staff when they engaged and overall, could have been good value for money.

Food was fine but unfortunately one member of our group ordered the fish pie which arrived lukewarm. Sent it back, they agreed and apologised and removed the price of that person’s drink from the bill. Another one was produced but by that time the other two of us had finished eating and it was rather embarrassing. In fairness the server did say it would take another 8 minutes but in reality it was more like 20. The pie was delicious though.

Always a good experience when you go to Bills, though if you were looking for a quiet meal it might not be ideal. That said we had a nice quiet corner table. The food was good and the server was really helpful and friendly

First time eating at this restaurant, food was good, didnt wait too long for service on arrival, food was ordered and arrived promptly, food was hot. Staff were pleasant, curtious, will recommend to others, and will definitely go back again . Location was quiet back street location, was fairly busy and most of all price(s) were very reasonable especially in the centre of Cambridge. I am off to the Soho, London restaurant soon, hoping to have good dining experience there too.

I have been to Bills before and enjoyed it. This time the service was lacking. The person greeting us gestured to our table in the distance, the waiters service was rushed and poor and no attention was paid to the table. It was my daughters 16th birthday and a disappointment

The staff at Bill's couldn't have looked after us better. Our waitress was so kind and friendly and worked so hard to make sure that we had everything we needed. And it was a lovely surprise when the staff all came and sang our daughter Happy Birthday with an unexpected brownie! I'd highly recommend Bill's to everyone - we were planning on going to the more expensive alternative up the road and I'm very glad we didn't :)

Food was good. But the service was not. Their waiters have a serious face at all time and no one was there welcoming us at the entrance. They also allowed dog into the restaurant. This was good to the dog’s owner but what about others allergic to pet’s hair? It was not pleasant having a dog next to our table while eating. Allowing dogs into the restaurant violated the people’ rights if they are allergic to pets. Will definitely not return to Bill’s

Food was excellent and the service was very quick. Could do with a few more lower price options on the menu but I would definitely go there again and recommend to anyone else. No set menu today as it was bank holiday.
