   Lack of attention, had to ask for water twice. Hot drinks are tepid at best, asked for hot milk for the hot chocolate and it came 5 mins later. Food isn't that warm

   Enjoyed a lovely time at bills at Cardiff bay yesterday.Enoyed the meal ,the strawberry and cream cheesecake was delicious.The staff are very friendly and helpful.Looking forward to my next visit there

   Always had a pleasant experience at Bills but not this time. Arrived 10 mins late but within our 15 minutes grace period and our table had been given to someone else. To be fair the maître d' worked hard to find us another table but we had to wait a while. When we were seated our waiter took our drinks order and they arrived fairly quickly. Bills have changed their lunch menu recently and the choices now are extremely limited. It’s basically a burger or meatballs. The starters were hot and tasty. We both went for the meatballs which were luke warm. Ended up paying £77 for 2 courses with 2 drinks and a coffee each. Service was good but all in all quite disappointed with the menu change and the food quality. Very expensive for quite basic food.

   Booked lunch as going to see The Lion King. My daughter and granddaughter were with me. Our table was slightly away from everyone else by the doors to outdoor seating area which gave us plenty of room. Our order for drinks was taken quickly and our food order followed soon after. The food menu was good but I preferred the menu when I was there last February. I had steak, eggs and fries, my daughter had meatballs in a sauce with potatoes and my granddaughter had chicken, chips and peas off the children's menu. Drink isn't included in the price but the dessert was which was a choice of 3. Alice had ice-cream. I had a Eton colada which had fresh pineapple and coconut in it. My daughter has a strawberry cheesecake which looked like a flower pot with soil, all of which was edible. I used my Blue Light card so had 20% off, but still reasonably priced. Will go again.

   The staff were very friendly and helpful, however couldn’t find my Opentable booking online. As it turned out it didn’t matter as restaurant had plenty of free tables. Service was very good, in the main the food ordered was good but I felt the ‘Bill’s big brunch meal’ ordered was not worth the price paid. Overall a good experience and we will come back again.

   The service was slow. Drinks ordered before meal did not come until after first course. Long wait before main course, then fire alarm delayed further - at least 30 mins. So we decided to leave.

   “ Pre lion king food” Booked a table via the app for two Was seated straight away small table close to the bar. Three tables close by arrived after us and were served before ourselves. 25 minutes and not even asked for drinks order. Spoke to the female manager and we decided to leave. Poor service after a recommendation Won’t be returning. Just a bit of advice for your bar staff Not to use a spoon for stirring a flat pint of peroni before taking off to a customer.

   Nice food and good service with just tiny mistakes. We were able to book for 10 people at 9.30pm and they still served us food at that time, which was amazing.

    So disappointed with Caesar chicken Salad no seasoning no parmesan just bowl of lettuce leaves. Complimentary drink accepted but honestly three meals should be refunded in full.

    Location of Bill's is very nice in the dock area of Cardiff. We were kept waiting for a while when we arrived but think the staff were busy. Two staff members looked at us and then didn't acknowledge we were there. However, the waitress who did finally come was very polite and friendly. Good menu although our burgers were quite dry.

    Food was ok. Service: Whilst collecting glasses a waiter knocked over drinks which soaked two of our party. We moved tables to allow cleaning. Then a different waiter hit over drinks she was delivering to our table which again went over us. We accept accidents happen but twice in the space of half hour would suggest your staff may need additional training

    We had the cod save our Queen burger and was no flavour , lemon sauce was very sparse as was any salad on the burger. Also not much choice for vegetarians.

    Drinks took over half an hour to arrive. Never got our water. Food came out before our drinks. No apologies from the waiters about the long wait for the drinks either. Wouldn’t have been so bad if they apologised. Food was ok. Not the best Bills we have had. Main issue was the drinks and no apology.

    Booked a table for 2 and was shown to a tiny one squeezed into a tight corner by a very loud party of 8. I asked if we could have quieter one. The staff member clearly wasn’t impressed and told that it was pretty loud everywhere. The restaurant wasn’t busy and she easily found us a bigger, quieter and more openly situated table. Our server was extremely pleasant. We had the 2 course set meal, the squid was good but the chicken breast was very dry (over cooked) and not well seasoned. I really object to having to opt out of a tip. We definitely will not visit again.

    Our first time dining at Bill's and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing, service was great too! Very friendly staff and always happy to help. Our only complaint would be we asked for ice cream on its own as it wasn't on the menu, which they sorted very kindly for us, they charged us £5.50 for 2 scoops in a dish! But I would definitely recommend a visit to Bill's, we will 110% be returning!!

    A favourite of ours for Bunch on a Sunny Weekend, two major aspects, the ability to sit out doors in privacy and the fact we can bring our dog with us too. On this occasion we also brought friends with us to enjoy. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much to ask. Food is very well prepared and delicious.

    It took 50 mins for food, no apology and they brought the bill and didn’t come back for me to pay - which is incredibly annoying, went for a quick dinner and ended up there for 2 hrs.

    We had a good time. We had asked for a table of 16 as we were celebrating our graduation. We were told that was not possible but while eating there appeared to be many empty tables and a section that would have sat us all. However we booked separate tables and all got in. Our food was nice and brought out promptly. We had a bit of a wait for our first drinks which arrived after the starter. Our waitress was lovely and we enjoyed chatting with her. Unfortunately we did not catch her name but she had her hair in double French braids on the night.

    Nice food. Good service. Only downside... we were sat outside and write on the edge next to stacked chairs and cardboard rubbish. Took away from the nice surroundings.

    Lovely informal Dinner with wide range of choices on the menu. Our pudding was delayed but the staff could not have been more apologetic and offered complimentary tea and coffee. A lovely evening
