Fish pie, hardly any mash on it.. not as good as used to be.
Root vegetables were undercooked.
Seasonal greens was crunchy white cabbage and bacon..
Not a very nice meal to celebrate my 50th.

We love Bills .. our breakfasts were cold this time so notngreat but that hasn’t happened before.
Staff were great as always.

Table easily booked. All Covid checks done on arrival. Great service and food. Expensive for breakfast but I suppose you have to pay for quality.
Definitely recommend!

Very enjoyable experience overall, however being charged service charge is annoying, I should tip the waiter/waitress if I feel they’re worth it and I should choose the amount I tip.

Excellent service and had a window seat which I’d asked for. Food was delicious especially the rosemary fries. Been before and will definitely come again when we can.

We booked last minute on our Xmas shopping trip,the staff were lovely,the food was fantastic,the restaurant is very clean and the set up for COVID-19 reasons is exceptional. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

Sat by door very unpleasant and cold , main brought before starter and waited over an hour ... table water was sat in jugs on a side table not fresh tap water when we asked , we love bills but very disappointed this time . Not drinks offered for getting order wrong

Service was great, food was lovely and the restaurant was very nice. Toilets let it down slightly, was expecting nicer after the restaurant itself was so nice.

Great food slightly different and perfectly presented . Decor is a bit old hat industrial/50s thing going on .

First time at bills and it was absolutely outstanding! They were amazing hosts, everything inline with social distancing and great venue, food and drinks! Im keto and offer an amazing range of foods to suit all lifestyles! Will definitely be returning

My Crab cakes were quite disappointing, struggled to taste the crab.

Booked for 4 people for breakfast. Straight forward check in and ordering system. Prompt friendly service and felt perfectly clean and safe.
Food and service was great

Bill’s was reassuringly very quiet due to the limited capacity as a result of the current restrictions. That was perfect as it felt very safe, however, as a result, I expected the service and food quality to have been much better given the number of diners. We still paid the service charge which had already been added to the bill as we appreciated the staff working during these tough times, but overall, it was very disappointing.

Food was over cooked, very pricey for what we had. Not a single Christmas decoration up for mid December. Very disappointed.

Overall good but cheese board and Ribs were very over priced especially the Ribs definitely not worth the money

Was a little apprehensive with covid but there was no need. Well spaced out, temperature taken, separate in & out doors and staff wearing masks at all times.

Wonderful service, meal was good background music was a little loud.

The staff were really friendly and helpful during our visit. They made our annual Christmas catch up a really enjoyable experience in this difficult year, cannot recommend them highly enough.

Breakfast was delicious service excellent & so glad Bills is open but one minor drawback we were sat a table near the exit & so all the people leaving had to pass behind me when leaving which was not ideal

Having always enjoyed going to Bills restaurants, I was keen to go to the Cardiff one (again). My visit this time was disappointing as the service was not of the previous high standard. We were, of course, expecting it to be different due to the Covid restrictions and appreciate that the staff are under a great deal of stress but still felt that the service was unnecessarily poor. We still left the (voluntary) service charge as we are aware of the difficult times being suffered by the hospitality industry at the moment, being in the business ourselves. We hope to find a better experience on our next visit.

Lovely meal with brilliant service. Eat of the Christmas menu which was delicious and also great value for money. Waitress was very helpful and always topped up our water. Would definitely go back again!

Food was ok except ordered the Christmas tree cheesecake dessert and was disappointed to find it contained no cheesecake!!! Sent back and had to have something else which didn't really want or like!! Service was very slow and did feel forgotten as waitress never seemed to come back and had to keep asking other staff for things. Also had to request our desserts in the end cos waited 25 mins and just wasn't coming and we needed to leave. Not very impressed!!
