Busy Saturday evening, only seats available at the counter by the chefs, preparing food so have your back to the restaurant. Very attentive waiter, good knowledge of food & attentive. Had the sharing starter with the dry ice & tree, amazing presentation, also ordered California Mali & gyozas but was too much for 2 people. Dj playing music was good but also a violinist walking around which was a bit load & not really needed on top of the music

A very warm and friendly welcome, we were taken to our table and offered some bread which we had. The wait staff were really friendly and the seating area was clean and comfortable. We tried a couple of cocktails and a coffee which was gorgeous and creamy. I had the eggs Benedict and husband had the truffle chicken two ways. Both were fantastic. Oh, I also had dumplings to start which were incredible - fried not steamed and very tasty. We didn't have dessert and opted for coffee instead. Really friendly service and delicious food. We very much enjoyed and recommend.

The food is pretty good, and the staff, when they got round to you were pleasant. Service was slow though. On a Friday evening, they seemed short staffed. We were waiting about ten minutes just to be seated, and about 20 minutes before we even got our drinks. Since we were going to a show later, this was very inconvenient. It was very noisy. It's also quite expensive. We paid £60 for two meals, one glass of wine and a soft drink. That's all we had time for, and the meals, while well cooked and tasty, weren't that impressive.

We pre booked as we knew it would be a busy night with Billy Joel in concert. Very warm welcome and taken to our table. Offered bread and Olives but declined olives and asked for bread only. Never arrived. Sat for 20 minutes with no offer of drinks or having ordered taken. Caught a passing waitress and asked for drinks. 15 mins later no drinks. Had to ask again for at least some water. Waitress chased bar and got us a jug of water. Starter arrived and finished before drinks arrive. Food eventually arrives and was very good. Chased a waitress for more Drinks. Again had to chase for them of which one was a cocktail. It arrived in a glass half the size of previous so half the drink and told they’d run out of the right size glass. IPA didn’t arrive. Asked waitress and apparently they’d run out. By this point we just wanted out. Asked for bill and showed a discount code. Bill arrived without code so had to be adjusted. Paid the bill and told waitress she had done well as she was being pulled in all directions. On checking our bill later I noticed we had still been charged for the IPA we never got. Oh dear. We like Bill’s but on this occasion we can’t score you highly.

The restaurant was very busy as there was a concert at the Principality Stadium. Under the circumstances the staff did very well. They were friendly, but service was a bit slow - understandable. My fish pie was very hot, but was more mashed potatoes than fish and wasn't really value for money. My ice cream dessert had started to melt by the time it arrived. Soft drinks are a bit overpriced.

The food was nice but took a while to come we almost missed our bus home due to lots of busy big tables at the same time, we also had a mix up with the food being described then given to the wrong person leaving me without food. The bill was then £26 out, as they had added two changes of food then took them off whilst suggesting they’d removed some food as a good will gesture (this was not the case it was just messy and unclear). In the end we just paid to get out to our bus. Overall the food was nice but wouldn’t go there again with a big group sadly, although our waitress was lovely and tried to help as best she could.
