We’re not supposed to be biased, but is there anywhere in the UK more beautiful than Devon? We think not (sorry not sorry). With cathedrals, canals and our very own Bill’s right at the heart (with a sunny outdoor seating area we might add), this place is a feast for the eyes and our food a feast for the belly *chef’s kiss*.

So pleased I’d booked they were soooo busy and on a Sunday morning too. Because of this our order was a while in coming but we had our coffees and the crossword to keep us going. All in all it was great - would recommend and go again.

Food was very good. Sea Bream with green beans and cous cous was tasty and a lighter offering. Chocolate brownie and sea salt caramel pot was a tasty dessert.

On a short break in Exeter we visited Bills on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed and found the food from the extensive menu to be very tasty and well presented. We had Roast Squash Hummus & flatbread and Calamari for starters, followed by Sea Bream and Fish Pie for mains and finished with Chocolate & Salted Caramel tart and Ice Cream selection for desserts. All were very tasty and much enjoyed!

Only issue with a dog friendly restaurant is when another customer has a very loud dog that barks for the entire meal and evening. Not relaxing or fun.
