Very happy with the experience. Friendly staff, efficient service, lovely food - can't fault it!
Great food excellent service. Took my 5 yer old and staff couldn't have been more attentive.
Nice enough but not amazing
Friendly staff, although we did have to ask 3 times for one of the drinks we had ordered. The food was tasty and came out quickly but was a little cold. Overall - was nice and we would probably go again, but could have been better.
We enjoyed a really nice meal - the food was delicious - my only criticism is that my steak had not been rested and was cold - the cut of meat was good enough that I still enjoyed it and so didn’t complain. The chocolate tart I had for dessert was absolutely delicious. Service was a bit haphazard and confused but then the restaurant was very busy and so perhaps to be expected - food came out very fast and so we were not kept waiting. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and atmosphere was excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back again.
Service is friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. Coupled with beautifully cooked and presented food this made our evening perfect. 10/10
Enjoyable but drinks were expensive. Starters good and food was as described
Chicken burger was over cooked. Drinks were slow in arriving. Staff were friendly though. Overall ok
Had a wonderful time
Set menu CHICKEN was dried out and difficult to eat. Disappointing. I had to ask for extra sauce - which came OK.
On one previous visit I had the set menu FISH (Sea bass/bream?) and it was excellent.
Service fine, indeed very welcoming.
So, could do better.
Our server was very friendly but the tables were very close together so when serving the table next to us she was right upon my dates shoulder which was a bit off putting
Chicken skewers very dry but the burger was good
The wine was also good
Very welcoming. Good service and the food was good too. Also dog friendly which was great
Had the set lunch. Starters were very good but main course took ages to come and were dried up and not only inedible they couldn't be cut with a knife they were so tough. To be fair the manager acknowledged the situation and reduced our bill quite fairly but not a good experience
Excellent food, drink and service. All meals were delicious. We also enjoy the puddings!
Good selection of food and drinks and well presented. Good service.
The food is amazing great value for the price and the staff are so lovely
Tasty food. table v small. A bit noisy for older people
A good experience. The only thing that spoilt it was being charged £3.75 for having water with the meal. When you are paying 12.5% service charge I feel that is a bit much, especially when it isn't pointed out when the staff ask if you would like water...
Staff were flustered, manager was storming about saying about staff being late. Completely unprofessional.
Staff member who took our order forgot my juice we then had to ask another member.
Breakfast was poor, no seasoning, poached eggs were rubbery and hollandsise sauce was awful. Muffin was stale and not fully defrosted, the toast was very hard to cut through. The table we were sat at should not be there, it’s right in a walk way and it was like a circus through the whole time we were there. Very poor service
Food was plentiful.
Some unusual ingredients on breakfast.
Food was tasty.
Only complaint was the food was cold
Absolutely delicious food. We came for breakfast and it was amazing. Never been to Bill's before and like no where else. Everything about it was perfect.
Staff were very welcoming and kind. It’s always nice to feel welcomed into a restaurant and not led in like kattle or a consumer/number
All the best guys :)
A very enjoyable lunch with friendly helpful staff. Very impressed
Good varied menu
A lovely meal in quiet relaxed atmosphere, food was excellent
Very good choice of starters, mains and salads on the menu. Good selection on the 2 and 3 course set menus also.
Wine deals also but seemed to be a better deal ordering the house wine.
Another lovely evening at Bill's - excellent service, great value Sunday night steak special and delicious caramel tart. Vegans in the party also really enjoyed their burgers. Thank you.
Still pretty good. But the menu seems less adventurous than in the past.
Very friendly efficient staff. Food choice good and portions generous.
Lovely food and staff. Love the ambience in Bill's, never disappoints.
Our server was Amelia, she was great.. recommended desserts and stopped to have a chat with us even though you could see she was busy. Very good at her job and a credit to the business
Service was friendly but you could tell it was fake. I do not think I had one smile from a waitress the whole time I was there.
Other than that, food was tasty and well presented.
We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious brunch of scrambled eggs on toast and the garden breakfast, along with a pot of tea and a smoothie. The staff were really friendly and the food as always fresh and well presented. Recommended.
Great food and service, would go again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you to the host for being super helpful with my father-in-law in a wheelchair and to our friendly and efficient waitress. Food was excellent.
Very friendly staff, nice decor. Unfortunately my chicken skewers were very dry & overcooked. My friend had the eggs benedict & said that was delicious.
Value for money though: pancakes and fruit - about 1/4 of a banana and a few berries, not what I would expect for almost £10 pancakes.
Me and my family went to Bill’s for my mum’s birthday and I would highly recommend because of the amazing service we received from all the staff they were all so extremely helpful - we had the lovely Claire as our waitress in the Gloucester Quays Bill’s and she was amazing! The food is also outstanding in Bill’s makes a change to your everyday high street restaurants.
Good selection of tasty food and excellent service.
Generally good. Service very good and appropriately attentive. Food not so good - fish fingers were not very warm, beefburger was burnt. Quite expensive for what it was. Drinks very expensive.
Very disappointing service, food not hot and ungarnished. No mustard to go with the steak apparently not something they offer anymore. Had to send my Hendricks gin back because it was watered down my melted crushed ice.
The quality and presentation of food has certainly diminished over the period of time Bill’s has been at Gloucester Quays.
It used to be a restaurant I recommended to family and friends, not any more
