Great food and service, would go again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you to the host for being super helpful with my father-in-law in a wheelchair and to our friendly and efficient waitress. Food was excellent.
Very friendly staff, nice decor. Unfortunately my chicken skewers were very dry & overcooked. My friend had the eggs benedict & said that was delicious.
Value for money though: pancakes and fruit - about 1/4 of a banana and a few berries, not what I would expect for almost £10 pancakes.
Me and my family went to Bill’s for my mum’s birthday and I would highly recommend because of the amazing service we received from all the staff they were all so extremely helpful - we had the lovely Claire as our waitress in the Gloucester Quays Bill’s and she was amazing! The food is also outstanding in Bill’s makes a change to your everyday high street restaurants.
Good selection of tasty food and excellent service.
Generally good. Service very good and appropriately attentive. Food not so good - fish fingers were not very warm, beefburger was burnt. Quite expensive for what it was. Drinks very expensive.
Very disappointing service, food not hot and ungarnished. No mustard to go with the steak apparently not something they offer anymore. Had to send my Hendricks gin back because it was watered down my melted crushed ice.
The quality and presentation of food has certainly diminished over the period of time Bill’s has been at Gloucester Quays.
It used to be a restaurant I recommended to family and friends, not any more
This review would have been perfect as usual but there was a very noisy group on one of the tables which disrupted the nice relaxed atmosphere I am usually used to as Bills is one of my favourite restaurants. In fact at times I could hardly hear my friend. Hopefully when I visit again next week with another friend things will be better
first visit and we were very happy with the meal, Bill's beef burger for hubby, which he said was very good, & fish finger sandwich for me, however there was too much bread and i couldn't eat it all even though it was very nice. Waitress recomended having it in a bun next time, which I will definitely do. Drinks rather pricey tho.....
All in all a good experience and will definitely go back. Thank you every one for a lovely lunch break
The veggie breakfast was delicious.
All the staff were lovely.
Easy booking. Excellent welcome and overall service. Good food.
Lovely to sit outside in sunshine
However plate slipping on table surface whilst trying to eat and metal chairs very uncomfortable
Enjoyable evening. Food was great and really tasty. Would definitely have another visit in the future
My friend Raymond asked me to thank the waitress who he said was "extremely good and one of the best service he's experienced"
He was very pleased with the food and ambiance too
Nice welcome from the staff and good service from all of them. Very good food with some innovative creations. Will definitely go again.
Food was ok…
Good service but I was expecting more
Brilliant meal, quick service and a very relaxed atmosphere.
The lunch menu offers an excellent choice of dishes, and on the day of our visit, somewhat surprisingly given our experience in recent weeks, all items were available. The dishes that we chose were all of excellent quality. Service was generally prompt and polite, though somewhat slow for our after lunch drinks and for producing our bill! We will certainly eat here again.
A very friendly service great food and ambience as always.
Very enjoyable lunch, burgers and chops were good also the chicken kebabs.
Pleasant staff, good location
Very good location with good food however, the drinks took so long to come that we’d finished breakfast and the tea was cold. So if that’s improved, it would be excellent.
Staff were pretty rude and unappreciative of the tip we gave. Food was boring and bland- not much flavour.
They left the glass of water from previous diner and my daughter accidentally
Drank it. We can see the lipstick marks too, so disgust. This made me so worry
especially in this pandemic period. I am very unhappy with this restraint and I don’t feel safe here.
Some food delayed, some cold when arrived and added tip is too much!
We love taking the teens and Grandma to Bill’s. The staff are always lovely even when dealing with our multiple orders and reorders like drinks and sides.
The food looks good and tastes good. The perfect blend of super healthy and super naughty too.
Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff whenever we visit.
Nice breakfast. Friendly service. Water glasses were dirty. Crayons only black, brown and blue.
Good overall, but no one seemed to be managing the door properly so we weren’t greeted particularly warmly. Once at the table, things improved 👍
Friendly and helpful staff, good tasty fresh food and welcoming atmosphere in restaurant
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal lovely staff s and atmosphere, will definitely be going again as in when next visiting the quays
Very friendly and quick food service. Food quality good. Ambience busy but not overpowering. Alana our waitress was a delight! 😊
Great food and service. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon!
The food and service were outstanding! Vegan options were delicious and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend going
Food was good but a very reduced menu and no masks worn by staff unlike many shops and supermarkets, little spacing between some tables
We loved the very friendly greeting and help to find a table where my husbands mobility scooter would not be in the way. Everything felt calm even as it got busier. I would eat at Bill's again.
We enjoyed the great value fixed price menu. The food was well cooked and presented. The cocktails were delicious. Service was attentive and efficient. The venue is pleasant with a good atmosphere.
Went for birthday breakfast for my Daughter. Had a lovely time. Our waitress was lovely and friendly and even popped some candles on my Daughter's pancakes stack.
The food was beautiful with a good choice
The drinks were very nice however slightly on the pricey side
Overall a very nice meal would recommend
Food was served quickly, still hot and of a high quality. Service was friendly and overall experience was professional and excellent.
Positives: The food was vry tasty and was delivered promptly. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere
Neutral: We booked for 1800 on Sat, it was pretty empty when we arrived but started filling up quickly and by 1830 was packed. Bear in mind if booking, that 1830 on Saturdays are likely to be very busy.
Negatives: The drinks were a bit expensive (£9.95 for a Gin and Tonic). Usually at restaurants, table water will be free and that's what I assumed when the staff offered us water for the table. However, when I got the bill I saw we had been charged for water (about £3.50 for a large bottle). Not a big deal, as when I queried it, the staff kindly removed the water from the bill. However, bear in mind that if you're offered water for the table it won't be complimentary.
