Food was really good! Service was a bit slow, constantly being served by someone different and had to go and ask for the bill as no one came over to us to clear our plates, so we sat there for a while. Otherwise, was great!
Came here for breakfast with my friend and had a lovely time! The pancakes were really good and our server was careful about my allergy. I will definitely be coming back!
Breakfast is always great at bills, just not a fan of how they take temperatures when they can get a more accurate reading from the wrist instead of the forehead. But all in all always a great experience!
Really accommodating staff who set me up in the back where there were less people and less noise so that I could get on with some work with a (delicious) coffee while I waited for a friend for (also delicious) cocktails.
Great food and reasonably priced, staff were very friendly
Fantastic! Buzzy atmosphere - great for brunch before shopping!
Lovely place me and the missus enjoyed it staff were lovely and polite would recommend to anyone going to London 🎉
The vegetable wellington was outstanding. Ask for some chilli flakes to go with it ;)
Unfortunately the restaurant was very busy and I don't think there were enough stuff, we had to chase for someone to take our order and it took 1 hour from arriving until we received our first course. The waiters were not very friendly or attentive, again I think this was because they were so busy
We had to ask for the bill before we got our dessert as we were going to be late for something we had booked.
We were also sat in the way of everyone entering the restaurant so it was busy traffic and cold from being by the door. Such a shame as I was recommended this restaurant by a friend.
Menus options were disappointing and my steak was a bit tough. Service and ambience excellent though. And we had a good night
About 20/25 mins to be served, not even approached for first drinks, eventually having some tables complaining I had to get up and call someone’s attention to be served, followed by having starters before our bottle of wine and a poached egg fell off the plate and the waiter asked if was okay to get us to have it (not sure I fancy a poached eggs with covid germs) thank you!
Been to Bills before but had this kind of service, definitely not returning tot his place.
Food was good - exactly as I would expect from Bill’s. First time I’ve been to this branch and it was an enjoyable visit from start to finish. Great ambience and attention to social distancing, hand sanitising etc. Staff were attentive - a pleasure!
have visited previously too and always love coming back. Great ambience and even though it might appear noisy, you’ll scarcely hear what anyone’s talking beyond your own table. Excellent food and brilliant, caring service. Would love to visit again. Should aim to expand their vegan and vegetarian options!!
Nice food, great atmosphere. In the heart of soho.
Bills delivered what it usually does - decent food and service - but I can’t see how it is complying with current Covid-19 guidelines. Although a few tables weren’t being used, by lunchtime it felt busy and as full as it would ordinarily. Space seemed tight and it felt a bit uncomfortable not to be more spaced out than usual.
The food was overcooked and tested old oil. The staff was not attentive, no one checked on the table, no one asked about allergies. Poor experience.
Im usually very satisfied with Bill's cause the staff is very nice, the food is good, the atmosphere really good too. However this time the food wasnt good. The burger I ordered was burned. But as usual the ambience and the staff did save the evening.
An ideal place to hunker down for breakfast during foul weather. Delicious food, I had eggs benedict; staff are jolly friendly too
Tasty , yummy food and lovely service. All members of staff were just soo kind and seemed happy to be there. They are a credit to Bill’s. Keep up the good work, you guys are awesome! ✨✨✨
Our dinner was delicious!! The tuna nachos were sooo great and the seabass was cooked to perfection! Rounded off with espresso martinis! A great evening!!
Chicken was overdone
Service was awful we got forgotten about
Waited 25 minutes a for a cider
Staff stood around our table talking
Good and easy to book, but very busy not very covid friendly if u are looking for that.
Staff were friendly and helpful
Food arrived quickly was hot and delicious
It was really nice, I really enjoyed it the atmosphere was peaceful and calm and the food was delicious!
The food was really good and the service was excellent. I felt covid safe.
It was a great venue, lovely menu but order arrived with main ingredient missing on 2 meals.
There are plenty of great brunch places round London - Bill’s is NOT one of them. I do not recommend going here - visit Balan’s Society round the corner or one of the more local Brunch places! I visited here last Saturday for brunch and it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Firstly, the service was absolutely atrocious - really inattentive staff and really I think this is down to them trying to force as many people in as possible while being understaffed (definitely not even a 1m rule here!). It’s the first time I’ve ever asked a place to deduct the service charge - it was that bad. By the time I got all the components to my breakfast the people I was with had already finished (I had toast which was meant to come with jam. I finally received the jam 20 minutes after the toast arrived after asking 2-3 times). When we all got our food it was cold, including the cooked breakfast my partner had. It was evident the porridge I had had been left out for a while after being cooked as it was stodgy and hard (I genuinely cook better porridge on a daily basis and pay far far less to do so). We were too rushed to complain (what was meant to be a 1hr brunch lasted almost 3hrs) but I really wish we had as honestly it was not worth the money at all and the worst brunch I’ve ever had. If you’re round the soho area I’d definitely recommend taking your business to another place like Half Cup, the Balans Society, Daylesford, Farm Girl or one of the other great cafes - you’ll have a much more enjoyable time and it’ll be worth the money!
Average experience at bills today.
Temperature check taken at door but after that I saw a server with no mask and also customer walking around without one too.
Again asked for latte extra hot but once again served warm.
The breakfast was good as always
Waited 30 minutes to get our order taken and another 30 to get the drinks...
Lovely breakfast at Bills in Soho. Great service and nice food.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a lovely experience.
Would deffo recommend
Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was good quality.
After having a meal here the manager of the store called me to question if I’ve paid for the meal or not and how much I paid in total without an explanation. I ringed the store agaun and the same manager picked up and turns out the waitress gave us the wrong bill. Instead of resolving this problem as a team, the manager rang me insinuating that I have not paid. Absolutely unprofessional and unorganised, I highly recommend anyone NOT to visit this branch.
We chose Bill’s because on their website and leaflets said that they are continuing on with the 50% off. We thought we would try the restaurants food for the first time. When we arrived we were left to sit outside in a street next to a drain full of smelly sewage, the food was cold, the salad was very old, the steak was uncooked despite us telling the waitress that we wanted it well done. Bill’s then gave us a bill and basically we was conned. The food was not 50% off and the menu, the leaflets and website was very misleading. Every other restaurants we had been to issues a bill clearly adding the 50% off at the end. Bill’s did not do this they conned us in a very clever way. But the food was not at all satisfactory and the table we were given was very unsuitable. It was very sticky and hadn’t been clean and we asked for it to be cleaned and we was given some wipes. Absolutely appalling service.
Go there about twice a month. So speaks for itsself really
This is a good "go to" restaurant. The staff are always welcoming and the food is always of a predictable standard. Good value for money as well.
It was a lovely atmosphere! We got the buttermilk chicken burger with fries and the mac and cheese, plus a lemon sorbet for dessert and two AMAZING cocktails, The Bill’s Collins and Rhubarb and Rose Collins. The burger was huge, and the mac and cheese was a really good size portion. We could hear each other very clearly, the service was outstanding, if I wanted to complain about something it would only be the prices - just a bit expensive! Besides the prices, loved everything so would definitely go again. :)
We went to Bills for a brunch. Food was truly amazing!
