Bill's Restaurant & Bar - Soho
Chargrilled red peppers, hummus, red onion, sweet chilli sauce & pea shoots on a sesame seed bun served with garlic & lemon aioli & rosemary salted fries
with a green leaf and mixed seed salad & toasted focaccia
I love Bills chain. Love the food decor & ambience. However this experience fell far short of my expectations after other good restaurants. Service was very poor Waited 45 mins for one of the drinks ordered to arrived .Asked 5 times for a jug of water eventually brought after 35 mins. One of the meals ordered was not brought out until after the other diners in our group had finished their meals.
Great location and interior, what you’d expect from Bill’s.
The food was good and great value for money…lots of choice and very tasty.
Disappointing service - the team seemed more bothered about chatting to each other than they did about the dinners…not really what you’d expect from the brand.
On leaving, my friend said “well it is cheap…” but that really isn’t the point…
I have been to this Bill’s a few times now and it is always has a good atmosphere. This time I ate the crab fish cakes with the poached egg on top which was delicious!! Great for lunch I will definitely be back:)
Offered bacon with my vegan breakfast which did make me smile but they got the order wrong three times the food was lukewarm service terrible
We had the miso salmon, which was really delicious.
The desserts were also excellent. Had the brownie and the cheesecake flower pot.
Really great location, vibe, ambiance and restaurant. Just quite busy but thats the nature of central London.
Waited a while to be served when we wanted food or more drinks. I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was overdone, but overall a nice evening.
Leave plenty of time if dining before a show, it felt very fraught and was worried we'd be late at service is slow as so many diners at the same time/stage of their meal.
I also didn't get the table type I asked for unless I was prepared to wait - which clearly I couldn't do.
Outstanding venue to eat in Soho, pays to book ahead as we did as were sat immediately upon arrival whilst others waited.
Great value for money especially in Soho, thoroughly recommend 👍🏼
Went into London for the 2nd visit in 3 weeks and went back to Bills, Good food with reasonable prices, service good for a west end venue, staff good and friendly. We like it!!
Great service and great food, ideal location for theatres
Good job we had previously booked, when arrived there was a que outside. The place was very busy, which was great to see, it was just we were seated at table and then forgotten about, had to constantly keep looking out for a waitress/waiter to walk past. Food was ok. Just thought there needed to be a bit more organisation.
Not happy with the service there.
Avocado missing on our main course.
Ordered white xine got red.
Lond delay and no eye contacts from waiters.
Raise your game Bills.
You used to be better.
ood but queue management poor : we had a booking but had to queue with people who didn’t book, bit chaotic! Service good in restaurant, very busy and crowded on Saturday lunchtime.
Absolutely brilliant experience. The waitress who served us was so lovely, friendly, informative and great with the kids. Music was great on a Saturday. Fab atmosphere and the food was delicious. Bills never disappoints.
good atmosphere, vibe, and food. the vegan burger was really yum and light
Delicious food, really friendly and accommodating staff. The £10 lunch deal was great value-for-money
I have been a customer of Bill's for years, and never expected that this time a dinner with my mum would be happen in a Club!! There was an actual DJ in the restaurant, on a Thursday evening, not sure who thought it would be nice to annoy people who come for dinner with such loud music. It was the most uncomfortable dinner ever. We left with a massive headache, very disappointed by this, I wouldn't have booked if I knew, which is a shame as he food was very nice.
We had the best service and they were so kind to my son - food was lovely
Friendly and efficient service in a lively restaurant. Perfect for our ore-theatre lunch.
Food was delicious, nice vibe, service team helpful and in good spirits, and very reasonably priced. Would recommend.
Execellent evening here, good value, friendly attentive staff, good ambiance.
A lovely meal out at Bill's for a trip into London. Always our first choice.
Gorgeous food, much better than other branches I have been to!
The food was gorgeous! We tried the truffaloes as my boyfriend is vegan and they were the best vegan wings we had ever tasted! All of the food was top quality, we had brilliant service too and the drinks were delicious.
Lovely little spot, booked in here for dinner after a theatre visit. Waitress was very helpful with allergen menu for us and food was quick to arrive, tasty and fresh.
Great location for the theatre land in London. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was lovely and good value. All clean although rather noisy, and busy at times. Would definitely come back. Fish pie was excellent as well as Nachos for starters.
Perfect pre theatre meal, service was excellent and food great!
My mums 80th birthday
Pre theatre meal absolutely dreadful loud DJ music in the restaurant basically banging so you couldn’t hear the person across the table ( I’m not 80 and I couldn’t) staff were lovely but said there was nothing they could do about it
I so wanted my mums whole day to be special we came up from Worcestershire to London
I chose bill’s as it’s one she likes at home! And booked it ahead of time We didn’t have time once we got there to find somewhere else as we had a timed entry to the theatre
I think we should have been informed if there was live music and what it was
Was only brought one meal between two people as waiter had not put both through and brunch service was over so had to share. No discount/extra food or real apology offered. Staff were friendly enough but it felt too busy for them to provide good service. Difficult to order food and get the bill. Wouldn't go back
We have visited Bills a fair few times and this was the first time we were sadly disappointed. The food took a long time to arrive and when it did it was cold and so were the hot chocolates. We had to ask for butter numerous times for our toast. It’s a shame as we love dining here.
Food was amazing restaurant a bit dark but that was the only down side
Staff were excellent. Food good value on Set Menu (but had to ask to see the menu)
Place got heaving with theatre goers and therefore very noisy. No need for the music !
Very friendly and great service. Bill’s Burger was delicious!
Fantastic and attentive service, great value menu and lovely surroundings. What's not to like?
Great food atmosphere and service.. A shame a few things were missing from the menu.
Busy, with a great ambiance and friendly atmosphere. Menu choice is varied with something for everyone and great value. Friendly service with good advice and not too long to wait for great quality food to be delivered.
Excellent spot for breakfast- I had the garden breakfast which was super tasty and quick! Great service and staff
We had a late breakfast when the restaurant was just getting busy. The service was good and the food amazing. We had been unable to get a reservation the night before because it was so busy. If the evening meal is as good as brunch would highly recommend!
Excellent service and Bill’s team were friendly and attentive. Food was fab and we had a great time. Thank you.
Good food and ambience and attentive service. Would recommend if you need a quick bite either side of the cinema or to meet with friends.
