Great atmosphere and good music! Ideal for drinks out with friends
Good service, friendly and helpful staff. Eclectic decor and buzzy atmosphere at just the right noise level. Food was good, although a few in our group thought it was a bit cold. Unfortunately a pickpocket came into the restaurant and stole a mobile phone off the table which put a bit of a downer on our experience - this is of course is not the fault of the restaurant, but just to point out you should be vigilant in this area.
Overall a good restaurant that I would recommend
good for a quick bite to eat before theatre with teenagers in tow
Very busy Saturday afternoon. The food was great and good size portions. Would return.
The music was playing too loudly, it was impossible to hear neither the staff nor the interlocutor. The music ruined everything. I wanted to get out faster
But food and service it’s was very good!
I won't go there anymore.
Great venue for breakfast, with friendly, attentive staff.
Lovely staff and really good food, but far too noisy. Bad acoustics meant that all chattering was amplified. Had to yell at my dinner partner to be heard.
We wait for 30 minutes and no one took our order so we left
To start it was perfect but We felt humiliated
At the end, as all the manager gathered around us, very bad experience
Fabulous service and great music! Thank you for looking after us James!
Service was absolutely outstanding. Have never felt more cared for and looked after, all in a friendly and relaxed way. From the two hosts to the waitress and the runners.
Genuinely loved our night here, staff is excellent! Also music choice is top class!
The music was way too loud for having dinner with friends, how on earth they expect people to have a conversation is beyond me.
I arrived before my friends and no one came and took my drink order despite the person who seated me saying they would.
The table was sticky, the water glasses were not clean.
The fries on the menu said “rosemary salted” - they were neither.
Other Bill’s restaurants I’ve been too are so much nicer than this. I won’t be going there again.
Always a reliable choice. My chicken dumpling starter and sea bass mains were both very tasty. My husband enjoyed his halloumi fires to start with but his burger was a little more cooked than he would have preferred and the rosemary fries could have a stronger rosemary taste. And please get proper sundae spoons so we can reach the bottom of the glass dish and eat ALL the ice cream!
Great staff, nicely priced and lovely scenery. Very cosy lil spot for tea, but would also be great for evening drinks too!
Nice foot good service
Amazing food, amazing service such a beautiful restaurant. We will definitely return when we come back to visit London
My friend and I had a really lovely time. Food and drinks were lovely and the service was quick. Our waitress (I think her name was Sara?) was brilliant - so attentive and friendly and really enhanced the overall experience.
we had a lovely meal, the waitress service was very friendly and excellent. The food was great and very tasty, surprisingly not expensive. Ambience lovely band felt very covid safe.
Food isn’t the best
Nice restaurant and location
Drinks very cheap and taste nice
Ever since the interior revamp, I love coming to Bills, the food, the drinks, the interior and the service are top ❤️
We met up as a group of 3 with 3 babies! The restaurant manager or staff not sure who she was for some reason was taken back, she moved us twice & kept requesting to move the buggies, we were the only dinners in there! Then no one came to take our order for ages. When they did come we were told we can’t order breakfast as we were now too late. Sub standard service & mediocre food, won’t be going again!
Food and service was very underwhelming. Not going to be going back.
Very slow service
We had quite a poor experience at your restaurant on a Sunday. The service started off fine and our starters and cocktails were really enjoyable. Then our mains arrived and one of them was completely not what I ordered and my sister received her Caesar salad with the wrong type of chicken and instead of correcting the salad they just said sorry for the mistake and left it there. I then waited 15 minutes for my correct dish to arrive by which point my family had already finished their main. I asked for ketchup twice and it didn’t arrive until after I had finished my meal. I started talking to one of the servers about how we weren’t very impressed with the mistakes and the wait time and he burst into tears and told us all about his personal problems. As much as we felt very sorry for him, it was pretty inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable. Eventually when thr bill arrived it was incorrect so we had to wait even longer for them to change that. We were going to ask to take the service charge off because frankly the service had been terrible but we felt that we couldn’t ask because every time the man came over he started crying again… it was tragic and strange. The food was okay but overall I think Bill’s need to support their staff more!
Booked this as a pre-theatre dinner but left plenty of time, which was just as well. Table was ready for 5.30pm on arrival and we were given menus. However we were left for a good 20 minutes before anyone came to see if we were ready to order anything!! Drinks and food were ordered, Banana Blast Smoothie was awful and two Tropical juices were forgotten and had to be chased for. Restaurant was busy inside and out. It was a hot day and yet it seemed we were only allowed to have tap water poured into our tiny glasses and the carafe was not allowed to be left on the table, so each time we wanted more we had to bother the already overstretched waiting staff. At 6.30pm we still hadn’t received our food. We chased for it but it arrived pretty much straight away. Food was OK, nothing special. Ran out of time to have dessert as we had to get to the theatre. The last few times I have been to Bills, in different locations, the service has been slow, the food arrives late and something is usually missed!!! This branch was no exception. What a shame.
With the hot weather, we asked if we could have a jug of water, this wasn't possible but I would suggest it would be useful especially as your water glasses are quite small
Thank you - great meal 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Generally a positive experience. However, I had made a special request to sing happy birthday for my daughter which didn’t happen. They showed us the dessert menu but no one came to take the order for over 15 minutes after which we were getting late and we decided not to order. Overall service was a bit lacking that extra ‘care’
Met friends for brunch on a Sunday after a gym class. Lots of healthy options if you want them or naughty if you don't.
We were in two minds about sitting inside as it was so hot out, but it felt like a cool break from the sun. Our only issue was we assumed brunch would be running later than 11.30am as most places in London do on a weekend. But they were quite accommodating to my friend that really wanted some scrambled eggs.
We booked with ease and had a very warm welcome. 4 of us all enjoyed ourselves and had nice bucks fizz's to start the say, the only downside was finding a hair in my food after nearly finishing my breakfast. however the staff were wonderful and acted instantly and accordingly. to much embarrassment 10 minutes later the server then dropped three drinks down my nephews back and pants awkward but extremely professional in their response. we realised afterwards that only two drinks were replaced and my meal with the hair in was deducted from the bill. working with in a high pressured customer role i would have at-least offered a little bit more for the inconvenience for my nephew having to make a 45 min journey home to change his orange sticky underwear, consequently missing the first 30 minutes off the football match.
Lovely staff and really nice food at breakfast.
Brilliant! Honestly great evening ...
Really high recommend!
Such great customer service, everyone was so lovely. And the food was beautiful.
Brilliant evening with great food and fantastic service.
Good value for money and excellent terrace
Always a lovely place to visit. A super choice of dishes!
We arrived a few minutes late and just missed the Breakfast menu but the kind waitress spoke with the kitchen staff and voila -we were served a fabulous full english breakfast! Quality was very high both for the food (which didn't take too long to arrive in-spite of it being a very busy Saturday morning in Soho) and the service which was surprisingly attentive and super friendly. Our particular waitress was especially good.
I would always recommend this place. Value for money is excellent too.
Perhaps having slightly fewer tables (than pre-covid) has meant more emphasis on service with a smile and a more pleasurable dining experience all round.
Four work colleagues had a lovely time. We were made very welcome. The food was good and drinks were reasonably priced
Lovely venue, delicious food and half price cocktails. What’s not to love?
Our waitress was also fantastic and very attentive.
Excellent from sitting down to walking out! Very happy
