Arrived at bills and was greeted by a manger, we had got offered a couple of tables, when pointed at a table.. the manger had stated it wasn’t ready so I asked to go to the high table that was also on offer and was refused. A couple that came in after us, got served first and we had been there for almost 10mins. Ordered drinks, starters and mains all together. Drinks arrived quickly. Starters were great and hot. Mains - my partner had the bills burger. Burger was hot and could see the steam coming out of the burger. I ordered the chicken burger - however it doesn’t state on the menu that the coleslaw is in the burger and assume it’s a side. Nope it was a mountain of coleslaw, the chicken was stone cold along with the sweet potato fries myself and partner asked to swap from the chips that was meant to of come with the food. The female manger had noticed that I had sent my plate back as she kept looking at the table. Yet, didn’t come over to ask if everything was okay.. once I reordered my food. It wasn’t enjoyable as would have been nice to of enjoyed my dinner with my partner together, but instead ending up sitting there not enjoying the food at all. The manger came over to ask how everything was and i explained that I wasn’t happy as i would of enjoyed my food more if I could of eaten my dinner along with my partner instead he’s eaten his and instead I ended up eating just the chicken and even that was a chore to Chew. Honestly such a disappointment, not the first time of going to bills in another city and had issues with the food and service. Bills has certainly gone down hill since the company got bought out. All I can say is JADE - you were amazing and your customer service was grand. Keep up the good work and maybe train the others Inc mangers of a thing or two on customer service based roles. The whole experience was just not enjoyable and won’t be returning to a bills anytime soon.

Food hot and tasty…restaurant cold…service started off enthusiastic but sadly declined during the course of the evening. Nothing could have prepared me for the hefty and intimidating 12,5% service charge which thankfully was optional. Thank goodness I saw it on the bill..I gave my own tip one which reflected the service we received. Please check your receipts for that one!

The drinks are ridiculous price bottle of lager (small) nearly £6. Steak tuff and my brothers burger only half eaten stayed over cooked. The fish pie was reasonable.

The service was alittle slow but it was very busy. Food was excellent and being able to pay using a barcode is perfect. Didn’t have to wait to leave.
