For 29 dollar steak tips that I ordered medium rare, they came well done and very much positive they weren’t tips. Maybe 4 individual pieces of meat. The entire meal was fries. Very disappointed
Great outdoor night at the Biltmore
Food was wonderful and service safe and attentive. Music from a local trio
Jukebox 45 was very cool and enjoyable while dining. Tables were reasonably spaced and the entire experience was a very fresh relief from isolation. Hope to come again to hear this trio
Always loved the Biltmore, dropped in for a casual dinner with some buds. Great beer list, cool apps and menu options, and service was top notch. I really can’t wait to get in there and eat at the bar, but it looks like it’ll be a while... sadly.
Courtney was great!!! Let us stay right up until closing time.
Glad you're back, we've missed you. Thank you Jenna!!!
The Biltmore clearly is trying to make this bar more vegetarian friendly, but if the falafel burger is representative of the rest of their veggie dishes, I wouldn't suggest them. The falafel burger was huge which meant the interior was "muziki shy" and the crispness of the smaller falafel which was what I was imagining was lost. I think putting the small round falafell in a pita or a hoagie bun and serving the tsaziki on the side (on the burger, it merely made the bun soggy). It would have been a better dish. I applaud their effort to serve more veggie dishes. I would suggest having a vegetarian chef to consult.
The ambiance is very nice although I would suggest the music be a little less loud, especially in the restaurant area. But even with the music louder than I'd like, we could talk fairly easily.
You don't go to the Biltmore usually to eat healthy. But you can! They have a new really delicious trout dish. Wow, it was good.
I have been to the Biltmore many, many times over the years and always enjoy it.
Food was excellent, server was most accomadating with my special requests
Great burger. Great service. Comfortable ambiance. We had a great time.
Biltmore was once a star. That star has fallen. Food is mediocre. Service is terrible. Very sad.
Arrived 10 minutes early for a 7pm Saturday reservation. Bar about 3/4 full, dining room less than half. Asked for a low table, told they were all reserved. Didn’t I have a reservation too? No problem. Seated and waited 10 minutes for a server to arrive. Hmm, menu a lot smaller than it used to be. Server showed up and took our drink order, 10 minutes later a different person came by to say they were out of Patron tequila. Well, it’s only national margarita day. Gave a different order. 10 minutes later, told bar was backed up. Another 10 minutes goes by, still no drinks, tables still empty around us, no server seen, no mention of taking an app order or dinner. Got up and told host on way out about the long wait and no service. Silence. Used to be a great place. But, consistently downhill last 3 or 4 times I’ve been here. Won’t go back.
Bar & Bartender were great, moved into dining area for dinner, food was great, high top table and seating were fantastic. Great overall experience.
We went for an early 5pm dinner, and sat at a high top in the bar. Service was terrific, food was outstanding, and there's a great beer selection. Looking forward to returning soon.
Very good burgers
Liked the cauliflower steak, and a pretty good burger. Will definitely go back.
First time there. Really enjoyed good service and friendly patrons.
Great burger and fried pickles/chicken
It was definitely not what it used to be!! Quality has definitely gone down hill
Eggs Benedict was awful. Ham was cold, like it was just out of the fridge, English muffin wasn’t even toasted, was clearly pulled out of a bag, sliced, and put on the plate. Appetizer and my wife’s French toast were fine, but not enough to go back.
Our waitress was lovely. Our food arrived with burgers under cooked and we had to wait to eat until the kitchen got it right. The BBQ onions never arrived for our burgers until we asked for it. The manager treated us to dessert in way of an apology which was appreciated. The menu is extremely limited for a pub.
Food was terrible. Waitress was lovely. Manager was rude and not forthcoming when when we told her the eggs were runny and the drink was bad/spoiled. Would not recommend.
Food was sub par and not cheap. Avocado toast arrived soggy. Eggs Benedict equally unappealing. Fried pickles always good!!!! Service was slow, which we didn’t mind.
We ordered 2 burgers cooked medium as part of our dinner order...they were both completely raw on the inside. We received a 15% discount but had to wait for new burgers and in the meantime the rest of our table had their meal. The service was the one highlight. We won’t be back. The rest of the food was ok but certainly nothing to go back for.
Had a great brunch! The menu on OpenTable was different from the restaurant, which was a little disappointing. The food was still great!
They were having a special event last night so it was tough to get a reservation. Then we ended up having an extra person and they accommodated us without issue. It was very much appreciated. I love the bar at this place too.
We made a Sunday brunch reservation for 5 persons based on online reviews. The food was so good that it can only be described as dishes that have been perfected over time. Spend a few minutes talking to the staff and they will confirm the place is oozing with fun history. The Bloody Mary is a must for brunch. Our waitress Jenna was exceptional, funny, and fit right in with our group - which included our fiend's mom who is 90+ years young! Thumbs up on this place for any foodie.
Good food and a much better option than a chain restaurant. We appreciated the small menu as it was less overwhelming than typical menus while also helping the cooks focus on making a few items well as opposed to a lot of items only average.
Service was slower than expected, although this was mostly made up for my the friendly waitstaff.
Had a great time at the bar will be back again soon. Love their sister restaurant article 24!
Neighborhood restaurant with good food and beer selection. Not a fancy place but features good food and surprisingly enough has vegetarian options. The falafel burger was much better than at middle eastern upscale restaurants. The noise level is high, but that's no different than other places. The beers come in three sizes which is very thoughtful. Parking in the back of the restaurant and some on the street. The wall decorations are conversation openers, old ad signs from a bygone era.
I wish they had a bit of sound abortion material in the building. Sounds bounces around very easily. Food is delicious. I loved the Bolognese. My husband ordered the salmon and thought the portion was a bit slight. The server took her time coming to us at the beginning and also let us wait at the end for the processing of the credit card. She was perfectly attentive while we were eating.
Service and staff are excellent. We love coming here for brunch but the new dinner menu has less options and the ones they are offering are not appealing at all. I had chips and dip and no entree because the salad and entree selections are limited to 3 each and none of them remotely sound appealing at all. Very disappointing because their dinner menu used to be great. Until the dinner menu improves, we’ll come for dinks and maybe an appetizer and for brunch. Not for dinner.
Our food was very good. However, we ate there on Sunday evening at 6. How could they have run out of both fish dishes and coffee by then?
Excellent food and service as always!
Great neighborhood spot. One of the best waiters we've had anywhere. Kudos to him. Nice wine selection. Specials should be given to customers not shared by servers.
A little too noisy and how can a restaurant not have coffee available during brunch.
Fish tacos that were described on line were very different than what was served (not nearly as good) Charged $6 for French fries as a side even tho we were told they came with the sandwiches. Charged $2 for a slice of bread to accompany a salad - really?
I did like the waitress & atmosphere and would try again at night this time - maybe larger, more varied menu?
The dinner menu has been pared down but I'm happy to report that the excellent Biltmore Burger remains! I enjoyed their special burger which had pastrami instead of bacon. We also had the boar and beef rigatoni. Removed from the menu was our favorite fish and chips (we used to get the fish and waffle fries) but we were more than happy with our dinner. We will go back!
We eat there after meetings several times a year even tough we don't live in the area. We explained we had to finish up our meeting and the host put us in a corner so we could hear each other. the restaurant was lively, but not overwheling. Our server was terrific ans very attentive. We all enjoyed our meals and drinks and will definitely go back again.
