Here is the background on the makeup of our Restaurant.The Bistro was born in September of 2002.Owned and operated by Declan Hoctor, Executive Chef: Paul Hughes, and John & Angela O’Sullivan of Roly’s Bistro of Dublin (Ireland). Our Fare is American with a European flair. Executive Chef, Paul Hughes trained in the Savoy Hotel in London for 9 years as well as Roly’s Bistro in Dublin, two of the most respected hostelries in Europe. Roly’s in Dublin was voted Restaurant of the year for 2010, also voted Chef of the year. Our team of Chef’s has won numerous competitions, and awards representing restaurant &country for their creative and inventive food. We love what we do! Just remember!

St Patrick’s day which ended up being a fixed menu. Ended up spending $65 per person for corned beef and cabbage. It tasted ok but was tough. Could have benefited from more braising. The music was sub par. The bag pipe went by our table which was blaring. Would have been better just in the background. The service was very good and our waitress delightful.

Hi Linda Sorry you did not enjoy. It has always been a Prix Fix as we provide entertainment which is very expensive. We had a lot of compliments on our Corned Beef that day and our chef is an expert on at braising slow and steady for 20 hours. Bag Pipes are a naturally loud instrument and on St Patrick's a tradition that certainly satisfies the masses, I'm sorry it did not appeal to you but its a fleeting 10 minute visit. I do hope you try us again. I'm sure you will be more than satisfied.

We arrived at 7 and were shown to our table but didn’t get any service until 7.10. Food arrived at 8,45.

I would really like more details as this does not sound right, unless you had cocktails and did not order until around 8.00 or 8.15 without appetizers. WE had no service issues from the kitchen so I would really like you to call me at 561-373-7723 so we can figure out what went wrong

The service & food at Bistro are always outstanding!! This time we each had the snapper in parchment paper. It was fantastic in flavor as well as preparation and presentation. We both devoured a chocolate soufflé for desert and as always it was a melt in your mouth experience. We look forward to returning.

Have visited many times in past years, but came up on our radar again! Food was just as excellent as before . We really enjoyed the Happy Hour offerings, with great service. This is a must visit restaurant and bar!!!!!

We come here often and it is usually fantastic. Unfortunately this time things were a little off. The roasted Brussels sprouts were not really roasted. They had been steamed or par boiled and perhaps briefly put in the broiler. We’re used to sprouts having a good char and some flavor. These simply had a little butter flavor and that was it. My pork chop initially came out under cooked. We sent it back and it came back cooked perfectly. My Wife loved her salmon, it was cooked medium exactly like she asked. Lastly, the Baked Alaska was the dessert special. It sounded great, but unfortunately it was rather bland.

We will definitely give them a pass as we have had many good experiences here, I am sure it will be better next visit.

Bistro provided its usual outstanding dinner. The Beef Wellington and Dover Sole were wonderful as were our appetizers. And the soufflés for dessert were perfect. We had both chocolate and Grand Marnier. The only negatives that we were seated right next to the door that leads from the dining room to the outside eating area and there were waiters running by close to us all night. At one point, one of them knocked over the glass lamp on our table and it shattered on the floor. Hence the ambiance rating of four stars rather than five.

Lucky us Andrea was our server and she was wonderful. Sushi tuna delicious as was beet salad. Dover sole prepared perfectly and delicious as was calves liver. Great meal great service. What more could you ask for

Food is average at best, we made the mistake of going there on Valentine’s Day, they rushed us through the meal and out the door as fast as they could.

Very Sorry you did not enjoy. We were actually inundated with positive feedback on the food, on Valentines and definitely try to get the food out of the kitchen as fast as possible. Had you mentioned you wanted us to slow it down a bit, we would have been happy to comply. Sorry that made us a 2 star, but as I am sure you can see the general feedback is extremely positive, and our regular menu I'm sure would have some options you would be excited about. Hope you give us another try, and say Hi!!

The restaurant is dated, with tables so tightly packed it is difficult to navigate. Although we had a reservation, we were rushed through dinner. The food is good, but not so good to be worth the price. We won’t be going back.

We recset the restaurant to accommodate the demand for twos on Valentines Day. Having a reservation would not impact the speed of service. Most people want their food as soon as possible. Our reputation is value and serving A La Carte as opposed to a $100+ Prix Fix on Valentines Day is considered Good Value. Please try us again as you said the food is good and unique days are not a great judge of a restaurant, even though we feel we deliver to the vast majoriity especially on those special days.

Good restaurant - just don't go on Valentine's Day. Service was very slow, food preparation was not as previously remembered from other visits and generally the limited menu was overpriced.

Loved our experience at The Bistro!! We were lucky enough to get seated outside on a lovely evening right next to the water feature and pond! Food was great! I loved the Asian style snapper in a parchment bag!

The Bistro has become our new favorite go to place to eat!. The food is consistently top notch, bar service timely and efficient and the atmosphere and ambience is perfect for either a little quieter, nicer dining in the dining room or in the bar area for a bit more casual feel and able to catch a game on the tv.

I had the special veal with eggplant on a bed of fettuccine and my wife had the signature stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes. Well, the veal was unimpressive and seemed like it was cooked previously and just heated up. The breading was soggy , sauce too acidic, fettuccine not homemade and eggplant lump on the side was burnt . The chicken breast had a nice stuffing and perfectly crisp skin but the breast was overcooked. The mashed potatoes were quite tasty. Clams casino were the tiniest I’ve ever seen and fair at best. The New England clam chowder was excellent. My Manhattan had barely any sweet vermouth. My wife’s Cabernet was tasty. Nice ambiance, quiet and our waiter Alex was outstanding. He noticed how much food was left on our plates and we were honest but in no way harsh regarding our dissatisfaction. He offered a cappuccino on the house which I had . It was perfect . He asked if we would return but I think it was obvious we wouldn’t . There are plenty of much better restaurants around. EVO is an example of a top notch restaurant which I would highly recommend. I would steer clear of Bistro

The food was fantastic. The waitress was wonderful and kind but overworked. She had far too many tables and was unable to keep up. She was doing the best she could. She was able to continue to keep a smile on her face and be pleasant which was admirable. They are lucky to have her.
The tables outside were not placed properly. People were constantly pushing up against us to maneuver around as there was not a great path. I will return as the food was amazing.

I so like the Bistro but on a Saturday night the service was very slow and the noise level was too high.

So sorry Mrs Fagan, we were extremly busy on Saturday which would account for the noise. Outside is always an option as it tends to be quieter. We have been recruiting of late and feel only this week that we have what we need to continue our consistent reputation, but Saturday really was exceptionally busy, I do apologize. Dover Sole was exceptional, as always. Our server (a young lady) could not have been more attentive. The Grand Marnier Soufflés for dessert are terrific. One of my favorite places.

Thank goodness for Open Table! We thought the other couple[le had made reservations and they thought we did. So I found the perfect time at Bistro. Our meal was excellent, the server was extremely nice and accommodating. We all had the three course dinner, and the upgraded Soufflé. It couldn't have been a more enjoyable evening.

We had not been To The Bistro for a quite a while. We thought that we would try it for a Christmas Eve dinner. We were not disappointed. Both the food and ambience was outstanding however service was a bit slow which was good but inattentive.

The Bistro never fails to provide good food and service at reasonable prices. I usually try to have the house wine and this one was very good and very reasonable at $8.00.
