Choose to dine here due to location and reviews. Somewhat surprised at the compactness of the restaurant and its look. Service was quite good but to be fair the restaurant was busy. Food was good though certain meals were not available at the time. Food was good and very good value. Drinks were comparatively Service charge is always questionable to me and should really be left to the customers discretion rather than just another bottom line add on to the profit. Would I visit location again,probably not as there is such choice in London

We had an excellent meal here. We chose from the set menu which is great value for money. All courses were delicious, the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I would suggest that if you are going that you book beforehand as it gets very busy

Stopped here for an early dinner before an evening at the theatre. Food was tasty and prices were good, but service was lacking. Our food was delivered to the wrong table, and as a result, they had to remake one of our dinners. This meant one person had to eat considerably later than everyone else. Mistakes happen but the waitress was not the nicest about it - even though it wasn’t our fault at all.

We had the set lunch menu as we were going to the theatre. The menu choice was very good and the quality of the food very good with large portions. Drinks were pricey but you expect that for the location. Restaurant was clean and staff efficient and friendly. Would definitely return

The food was absolutely delicious. We were in a rush as going to the theatre but the staff took that on board and ensured that we were out on time. The atmosphere and ambiance was great and staff really looked after everyone even though the restaurant was heaving. Also great value for money for a London restaurant. Thank you to all at Bistro1.

We went for a family lunch before the theatre and had 2 courses from their set menu. Lots of choose from and catered for both vegtarians and meat eaters easily. Generour portion size and great value for money. A good spot in central London

Four ladies over 50 had a lovely lunchtime meal. We booked for 12.30, which gave us plenty of time to have two courses and a bottle of wine before our show. Olives and a basket of bread were bought straight to the table. I had calamari and the Chicken Shish, which tasted lovely. We asked for extra sauces, bread etc. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and one place we would all definitely go back to. I didn't take photos of my food, I was too busy eating or chatting. But my friend did take photos.

We went as a group of 8 for Work lunch. Unfortunately, they had run out of Turkey on the Xmas menu and a couple of other things too. The food was 'meh'. My salmon was covered in a cheesy sauce which was too strong for the fish. My starter of baked avocado was weird to say the least (wont be trying that again). Overall a disappointing experience, especially since the reviews were so favourable.

As we are local we go there few times now. Good atmosphere. Owner and family member are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the mezze is not the best but overall good and simple food.

Food quality not as good as it used to be. OK it's reasonably priced for dining out but frankly the food was disappointing. I'd rather pay more and have a better experience. Salads appear undressed. We had to ask for something to dress our salad leaves with ourselves otherwise for example, the potato bacon salad would have just been leaves, fried diced potatoes and bacon. Nothing else. The other starter we had was the borek. It was described as filo parcels stuffed with feta and herbs. There were no herbs. It was a place my partner and I used to go to again and again over our 12 year relationship. After our last visit we said it was highly unlikely we'd ever go back.

Great meal before theatre visit on 2nd day of Queen laying in state. Ideally situated near to most theatres. Easy to book and good service. Good selection of food and drink we’ll presented. Nice busy, friendly ambiance. Would use again.
