We offer a generous cuisine with flavors of yesteryear. The Bistrot 77 belongs to this new generation of restaurant that takes you to a true quest for authenticity.
We went to Bistrot 77 on a quiet Monday night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant was not busy that night and made us a little apprehensive, but we were delighted that we stayed!
We started with the charcuterie plate and the boar terrine, both were delicious, personal favorite was the Corsican Copa, simply divine!
For the main courses we opted for the whole fried fish and the classic duck confit. I could have eaten several plates of the duck confit, as it was that delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked, exceptionally perfect skin which is often hard to do and flaky fish that was not oily. Both dishes were wonderful and served with salad and real potatoes to complete them.
For dessert we shared a creme brûlée, that did not disappoint, it had the perfect amount of sweetness.
The service was impeccable! The chef came out and spoke with us and then shared an aperitif with us before we left.
I will definitely return here on my next trip to Paris! Fortunately Bistrot 77 is near my hotel where I stay for business and it is a great walk.
The ambiance is small and quaint, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is that the lighting is very bright. I personally prefer lighting a bit dimmer for dinner...again this is a personal preference.
Please give Bistrot 77 a chance when you find yourself in the neighborhood. I is a small family run business that has been open for generations, you will not be disappointed.
Nice Méditerranée place, very open to Americans with OpenTable (rare in France). Super Nice staff, great goat cheese, bread, pasta and other entrees, moderately priced. From windows you can look up street and see the Panthéon lit up at night. House wines available are decent and very inexpensive. Nice place to go when you tire of all French food.
A perfect family dinner for our first night in Paris.
Terrific for large groups and picky eaters. Our group of eleven was accommodated beautifully and everyone found something to eat and enjoy. The service was quick, friendly, and accommodated our English speakers with translated menus. The salads were lovely and pastas tasty.
This restaurant was one of the best I went to during my whole trip. If you are in the area you must go!
Not a french Bistro, but an Italian Pizzería. Very few options of pasta. Not great quality. Nevertheless, it's cheap, and it's like homemade food. The italian wine was good.
Simple bistro but not very hygienic, crockery dirty
During our 3-day visit to Paris, on our way to a wedding in Dakar, we looked in Open Table for casual (late night) spots near our Airbnb. Bistro 77 turned out to be the perfect choice! Lovely neighborhood, warm ambiance, and kind, helpful staff with boundless patience! Yes, we would definitely return and you should try it yourself! You will not be disappointed.
Cozy neighborhood spot with wonderful Corsican salads.
Food and wine tasted very good!
All staffs are very friendly and give us a shred advice for foods and drinks.
Not a high grade but a popular chic vistro!
Excellent meal and even better service! Merci beaucoup!
They are closed until August 12, yet didn't bother to shut off their Open Table.
Very friendly service with good food in authentic atmosphere. Not pretentious. Good Corsican specialities
Reserved but when we got there the restaurant was not even open!
Charcuterie plate was great, drinks and overall prices were reasonable, though we weren't blown away by the food. Penne carbonara and penne bolognese were quite bland. Not terrible, but not a reason to go back. On the plus side, it was open on Monday night.
The food was excellent. Great price. Nice restaurant.
Nice little neighborhood bistro serving authentic Italian food in a totally unpretentious restaurant for a reasonable price.
Very good service and they speak English. Handicapped accessible.
First night in Paris got off to a very good start. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 courses. We both had the corsican charcuterie which was very tasty. My partner had the pasta with salmon which she thought was divine. I opted for the sirloin steak which while being very nice was actually bavette I would still have taken bavette if it was advised on the menu but would have chosen medium rare instead of medium. My partner had the fresh fruit salad which she enjoyed. I had the Apple Pie and ice cream which was lovely. The ice cream was sensational.
My Partner's birthday is on Thursday and she wants to go to somewhere she knows is good. Bistrot 77 has been added to the short list.
The service was excellent and were made to feel bienvenu.
It was a good time!
