Just love it!!
It was a nice experience the other night, especially with the current situation. We order three fish and chips dinners for our table, and one of the plates came with a couple of pieces of broken fish, our server was not satisfied with that and said she was gonna leave that one so I would have something to eat while they brought out a new one no extra charge, since all other food for the table was already served. That was the proper thing to do, and frankly that just does not happen no more.
Food was great , better than before the pandemic , ambience was quiet , but that is understandable due to social distancing
Atmosphere is not as good as pre-covid. Service is ok, not superb
Waited a day to see how I felt in the morning and it feels the same.
Waiter was great. Pleasant. Food was solid. Parking was great. Been to this location earlier and I like it.
1)Made a reservation @4pm (clearly). Arrived at 4pm, there was couple ahead of me that did NOT make a reservation. Hostess let them in immediately. We were next. When it came to me & guests, I had to WAIT. She gave our table away. When I asked about how long our wait she immediately knew her mistake. I didn’t complain but it still annoyed me. The whole point of going to a restaurant is to make my life easier and not hers. To “salt the wound” not even a “sorry” or attempt to rectify the situation. Embarrassing as a hostess.
2) She didn’t even warn people about the COVID-19 standards about wearing masks as patrons were not wearing masks as they walked around to the bathrooms. (The check in guy outside was NOT there). I know this is against safety code, so she has to be responsible. This is serious health violation. Her age doesn’t excuse her from being a professional.
First restaurant since stay at home has been lifted and they're doing everything possible to ensure health
With the restaurant having opened very recently, the experience was great.
Easy experience and good waiters
Food was cold and tasteless
Seated after minimum wait even though it was very crowded
Decent food and menu but overpriced for what it is.
Excellent service, great food, dessert and a fun time with the family.
It was really good expect they ran out of silver wear. The sodas were flat but waitress was very nice
Had a delicious pork chop and a very friendly and efficient waiter
Great food! Awesome atmosphere! Exceeded my expectations!
If you like noise, crowds, dark crusty atmosphere - this is the place for you. A little bit more dense than other BJs, but still the same great food. If you're into Nachos - you'll get your $$$ worth here. For me, I prefer the more open spacious BJs at other locations. The Nachos are humongous everywhere.
For a bar-style setting, the food, variety and selection are excellent. Great venue for watching football (or any type sport) games. Drinks are well poured and at a nominal price.
It was our daughter’s 10th birthday and the server made her night special with a candlelit pizookie! Thank you!
Ended up being a great experience due to our amazing waiter named Eric. Bartender was eh and the food wasn’t as hot as we wanted but Eric made the whole experience great. Will definitely return and hope Eric is there to take care of us.
I was surprised that they would seat a party which included a 95 year old man using a walker and an 89 year old woman with a cane upstairs. There is no handicapped entrance for this part of the restaurant. The manager never came by to apologize when I stated this complaint to the hostess. The food took a very long time to come out, but was good when it finally did.
Good variety of food . We had to ask for a replacement of one of the enters and it was handed so nicely.
Waiter was awesome and told me about the app and I got a free pizcookie.. Great service.
good service, menu said fish and chips is a light batter and it was not. too crunchy and heavy, will never order it again
I can confirm that our experience at your Woodland Hills was quite possibly the worst experience I have had in my life at a restaurant. We are from the UK and are frequent visitors to BJ`s and have always looked forward to eating there. In fact we were planning on visiting your Carlsbad restaurant this coming Friday when we are there. Not now.Our terrible experience started when we arrived and as follows
We arrived to be told our online reservation was cancelled as manager had decided to cancel all online and telephone reservations as busy. Did not inform usTold we could wait 20 minutes for table, which we did, and then told no chance. After complaining they said they would try and get two tables of 5 for us, eventually after a long wait a table was foundAfter an hours wait with 4 fed up children we were seated. Our waiter, Stan I believe, took our orders and all seemed well. Our starters began to arrive and most were served, but not all, when our mains arrived as well. Considering some had not even received their first course, we asked for them to be taken back. We were told by the waiter ` you have a choice, take them know or they will be left in the kitchen and have them cold later`We were astonished by the rudeness. We sent them back and eventually got served the remainder of the startersWE then asked for the main course, which came in stages and was in fact cold and in a couple of cases not cooked correctly and basically awful. We then began a protracted set of events meeting different staff, complaining, spoke with manager, had at least 2 meals re-cooked meaning we all ate at different times. Some put up with the poor quality of food that was overcooked/not cooked enough and generally very very poor.
A terrible experience that we were astonished and very upset by. We would not normally make an issue of this, but feel that maybe we should so other diners do not have to go through the same experience. Very poor service from the moment we arrived.
We celebrated my daughter's graduation and my mother's 87th birthday. Everyone was very satisfied.
A change (reassignment) of wait staff left our final dining experience from end of meal to dessert and check a bit fragmented. Plus there seemed to be a shortage of bus staff to assist with table clearance.
A delicious pork chop and very good service
Kept us waiting for 30+ minutes with a reservation.... then waited 10 minutes before a server came by only because I got up to find one. Disappointed
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was really good but the service from our waitress could’ve been better. She was not very attentive
When we arrived they told us the wait till will be 10 min even though we had reservations. Service was extremely slow and there was no table touch.
Variety of food selections; food is better than ordinary restaurants of this caliber; great bar scene; very good drinks.
Woukd not recommend this restaurant.. food was horrible...
Food ok, restaurant ok but needs to be renovated - getting a little grungy. Service ok but a little slow.
