Great team. A few key items off menu; artichokes and fillet steak. Good value wine list.

Just wonderful service, food and ambience, I love this place.

Our third visit to Black & Blue and the food has been of a consistently high standard. Wine is excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive.

everything about our visit on Friday night was average, nothing outstanding. 2x prawn starters, could have been from anywhere/any restaurant and no effort to make intersting or present well. 2 xcheeseburgers and fries - desperately ordinary, 1xsalmon fillet and fires with a salad. 2 beers and 2 diet cokes came to over £140. There are better, more intersting choices in Borough market.

Overall everyone was lovely. Just noting special for the price you pay really.

Been here before and had a great meal and food was excellent t. On this occasions, food wasn't as good (Burger Buns soggy, Burger meat bland and steak had minimal flavours).
I will try again as the first time I ever went here food was exceptional , I'm hoping this occasion was just down to Covid 19 and being a late booking (lockdown eve)
Would I go back and recommend- yes.

Went for lunch with work colleagues and it was lovely. The cocktails were great and everyone enjoyed their meal. Only niggle was that someone asked for their steak blue and it was over cooked.

It's a nice place for drinks /dinner. It would be nice if they had more table for outdoor seating.

Lovely cocktails (made it for happy hour). The steak was so delicious - the best I have eaten in years. I also had a complimentary pecan pie for my birthday which was a very nice touch. Thank you!

During Covid so quiet and gave the staff ample opportunity to serve. Thought the prices were extravagant for what was served but I would go again.

Staff was absolutely amazing, the waitress made my daughter’s night as it was her 18th

Excellent service very attentive, very quiet and not busy, but things are what they are and the resturant layout was excellent and the covid measures in place where very good.

Steak was lovely , a nice piece of steak well cooked. Came with fries and a side salad which wouldn’t be my personal preference.... I think homemade chips and veggies are a better option with a nice steak. The peppercorn sauce was delicious as was the chocolate fondant dessert and the bottle of Malbec we ordered. ( so nice we ordered an extra carafe) . Rounded the meal off with an Irish coffee which was probably the best we’d had in a long time. Staff where friendly and efficient....all in all an excellent experience.

There was really nothing out of this world with the food
Chips - basic, you’ll get the same quality chips from a peri peri takeaway
Salad - REALLY simple, no dressing, the walnuts, there is really no point of them if they’re being put on the salad whole, I thought they’d at least be ground a little bit
Steak - nothing to come for really, I usually have my steak blue, but I went for a ribeye, so went for medium rare
The flavour of the beef was good, the char on the steak wasn’t really great, the steak didn’t appear seasoned
The cocktails were nice, so was the merlot! Easy to drink
We didn’t stay for dessert, as we couldn’t hear the choices as a train went over as she was telling us
Be useful if the desserts are written down

Staff as always were very pleasant friendly and engaging which made for an enjoyable lunch with a business colleague

Celebrating my sons 16th birthday. Covid safe , well organised, clean tables, staff wearing visors so the communication isn’t lost. Food was great understandably from a limited menu. Very loud table near us with the guy standing up and shouting over the screen to another guy on another table ( there will always be one). No complaints whatsoever and would go again.

-Was okay but my favourite T BONE Steak was no more on the menu.
-No child menue. Son2.5 yrs had to eat chips
-Mrs had Birthday not even a free cake to celebrate.

Catch up with work colleagues and food, service and overall restaurant experience was a good one.
Have been to B&B a few times and always a good experience.

Wonderful steak, great service and good selection of wines. The beers were all very 3 expensive from what is a relatively standard selection. £5.50 for a small bottle of Staropramen isn't on.

Always has been good service , good quality and a comfortable place to spend hours watching the world go by whilst enjoying good wine and food .

Had a couple of steaks very small, for the cost , mediocre as far as tast

We were made to feel very safe & welcome & every member of staff was so friendly. The atmosphere was great with just enough buzz but not so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation. Food was lovely, particularly the king prawns & the pecan pie was divine! So nice to see the restaurant open again & we hope it’s well supported.

Went for Saturday lunch in the midst of COVID-19 times - really impressed with how Black and Blue are managing social distancing and cleanliness. Staff were very friendly and professional and steaks were as scrummy as always We opted to sit inside and most diners were outside so not the usual buzz and noise levels inside. However it didn’t feel like we were eating alone as glass walls bring the outside in and we could watch all the “action” in the market. Top marks to Black and Blue and also to Borough Market for how they have coped with these unusual times and circumstances.

Lovely atmosphere. Tables are well spaced out and social distancing observed. Felt a bit rushed to order food but food was lovely. I ordered a rump steak - medium and it was cooked perfectly.
Good choice of cocktails. Would have liked to have seen more choice for dessert.
