Great service, food was excellent. Would go there again

This was my first time at Black and Blue and was looking forward to a amazing night there. I left very disappointed in the service me and my significant other received.
We were given a great booth to sit overlooking the restaurant. Our waitress came right away with taking our drink orders and bringing out bread. After taking our entree orders and as we were eating she only came by to check on us once and then after the server removed our plates once we done eating. The waitress walked by us 3 times without asking if there anything else we needed or wanted to order. This put a very bad taste and we decided to end our night early because of the lack of service we received.
We did not get the opportunity to order more drinks or order dessert as we wanted to do because of the time it took for the waitress to come back to check on us. The table that was next to us had more people seated and their waiter was constantly coming by to check on them.
We are 2 people of color and I would hate to think that is the reason this waitress decided not to take better care of us. I made sure to tip this waitress based on her lack of attention to us. I was looking forward to eating here for a very long time and left feeling under-appreciated and disappointed.

After a very challenging year, this was our first family dinner out, and we wanted my son's 15th birthday to be really special. The B&B team did not disappoint, the food was phenomenal and the service impeccable. They went out of their way to help us celebrate. A wonderful evening of laughs and love! Always enjoy dining at Black and Blue. Consistent food quality and service. Our waiter and his assistant were particularly accommodating and friendly. We sat at a table close to the kitchen so that is the only thing I would change but understand with social distancing, having to utilize their space effectively.

Birthday dinner, 4 of us. Waitress was wonderful and very accommodating. All food was delicious, my steak maybe the tiniest bit over cooked and slightly overseasoned, but delicious none the less. Yes, pricey, but a treat and a great experience.

Valentine's day 2021. Was promptly sat at our table. service was pleasant and efficient. the food was excellent, well seasoned steaks and served hot. There was plenty of food sd o you dudnt walk away hungry. It was pricey but well worth a special event.

The service was the best part of the night. The food quality was very disappointing and that was the nail in the coffin for me as I will not be coming back again. There are plenty other of fine dining restaurants in the area with much better food that I will be spending my money on in the future.

Our server, Chris, was so well versed on the meal options and socially conversant! Our steaks were perfect and the asparagus was perfectly cooked.

Valentine’s Day my reservations was at 7 we were running late so I called to cancel because I knew with a busy day they couldn’t hold tables. The hostess that answered appreciated me calling to let them know so much that she held our table. We got there at 740 and was greeted and had a great experience. Food was very good as usual.

We have always loved blacken blue but since reopening it’s not the same. We went for Valentines - I ordered a filet medium well and it came out extra well done. Overcooked. Mashed potatoes had no flavor. Food not the same. Not at all like it was. Maybe the old chef retired. Disappointing.

First restaurant we have been to since the pandemic started. Wanted to treat ourselves for Valentine's day and have some time away from our toddler and infant. Black and Blue never fails to impress. The food was phenomenal as always. I was impressed with the safety measures they were taking (couples on same side of table, paper disposable menus, not hanging coats, limited staff on floor, everyone with masks and many with gloves) without diminishing the experience you've come to expect from them. Our waiter was friendly and courteous. The manager stopped by to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. At no time did we feel too close to any other couple or like safety measures weren't being followed. Thank you B&B for a wonderful night away from it all, as always.
