About
Offering a daily changing menu of unapologetically loud flavours and music.
Great food, friendly staff, loved the music. Can't wait to go again.
Great food and fantastic service but a little pricey.
Inventive food, raucous atmosphere, great service. Can't wait to go back. More than lives up to its reputation.
Absolutely delicious! Cost of main courses a big punchy!
The flavours are bam bam bam!
I don’t need to say anymore.
Inventive menu and nice atmosphere
Not for the over 40s unless you absolutely value quality delicious food over ambience. Worth putting up with the noise for the pleasure of having those flat breads, the marrow, the steak, the rabbit, everything! Outstanding experience. Delectable dishes in the most most most uncomfortable surroundings. Lovely knowledgable friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back to that god awful room and sample more of their incredible food!
Great restaurant. As a pescitarian, I worried there wouldn't be many options but it was delicious. All the meat eaters loved theirs too!
An amazing night!
My favourite 🥰🥰
Amazing food and experience. Lovely staff too! Still dreaming about the ink flatbread and whipped cod roe...
Loved the ambiance and small cozy nature of the restaurant. Food was delicious, highly recommend the bone marrow and the quail. Will be back very soon.
Incredible food! Sexy Ottolenghi middles Eastern flavours meet hearty solid St. John’s referencing meat.
Always amazing - great for a group of friends or just a date. Top notch service and music.
Amazing food - has been wanting to go for ages and wasn’t disappointed!
Yummy yummy food. Loud music but we could still talk over it. Lots of fun,
We love black axe - the food and vibe is the best - crispy ffffffffg rabbit - lamb offal flatbread - order it all !
Squid ink flatbread and cod’s roe was great, ditto tete de cochon. Everything else, especially the ox cheek, was over salted. Aperol Spritz was hilariously stingy. I’m all for a bit of atmosphere, but we arrived early evening (18:30) to music SO loud I couldn’t hear myself talk, let alone my friends. I asked for it to be turned down a bit and was told no — that’s how the manager likes it. We were the only ones in the restaurant at this point. It was an ok evening, quite expensive for what you get, but was really turned off by the attitude re: music. A shame, as I’d been looking forward to going for ages. Unlikely to return.
Short and very innovative menu using seasonal ingredients. Everything executed to a very high standard.
This is one of the best restaurants in London, if not THE best. Unpretentious and entirely focused on the food. Food you simply cannot make yourself, s o have to go there to eat it. It's amazing.
Bold flavors, and adventurous ingredients, all with textures that were quite pleasurable. Presentation was nice, and the staff was helpful and friendly.
We read about Black Axe Mangal in Action Bronson's 'F*ck That's Delicious' and thought we should go! I assumed that it would be a bit of a theme bar / restaurant, but it wasn't at all. The food was amazing - some of the best we've had in London (lived here for over 12 years) (Have the crispy rabbit!) The interior is really cool without being too try hard and 'themey'! Brilliant playlist and cocktails. Couldn't recommend highly enough and will absolutely be back.
Great meal! It’s very refreshing to go to a London restaurant that serves delicious food with a good vibe and perfect service.... thank you very much. Will definitely be back
Great food, great service, music a bit too loud!
Food was outstanding, service was superb, couldn't fault it!
Will be back as I now have cravings...
My friends and I had been waiting to check this place since it opened - I don't know why we didn't go before. It did not disappoint. We rocked up on a rainy evening. The (small) place was packed and the tunes were classic rock and hip hop. And loud :) We had great cocktails, the service was warm and attentive and the food was amazing. Our favorite, on the night, was probably the chicken wings - which brought some serious heat. The food is dynamic and adventurous without being pretentiously so. Good place for a happy meal with happy hearts and full stomachs. Recommend ++
The heavy metal music made it hard to talk but I forgive them because the food left me speechless.
Fantastic innovative food. The ingredients used on the menu challenge you to try something new and exotic, well worth it. A fantastic culinary experience. My only grumble is that it is quite expensive. Our meal was over £50 per head and i wasn't drinking alcohol. Still, if you can stomach the cost, well worth the visit.
Had a great evening at B.A.M the food is creative and tastes incredible. The cocktails were on point can’t really fault it and can’t wait to go back!
