    Food was sensational as always. Service a little hit and miss which was disappointing. Very, very disappointed to be told when I went to pay that no longer part of star club and no discount or rewards for platinum member. This was not made clear when booking and thought everything was transitioning across to new restaurant.

    The location is lovely, and the food is really good. Tho food ought to be good for the price, but it was. That was aside from an oyster that was served with essentially no contents at all, so quality control needs a look. Ther service was abhorrent. They just had no idea or experience at all. The wait staff appeared to be all completely new to the industry, let alone the restaurant. They were lovely, and obviously trying, but they just had no idea. It was a real let down. We were hosting some high value clients, but it became really awkward and disjointed because of the service.

    Waited almost 10 minutes to be seated, bread was plonked on table without any knife or the advertised olive oil, waited 45 minutes for steaks, had to call waiters to order drinks and manager/head waiter did everything he could not to see signals we were sending. One solo diner near us left because he could not wait any longer for his meal and a pair of businessmen on the other side of us called staff over twice asking where their meals were. All this but the food was great! Oh and they could not tell us where to park when called and we had to wait while they located a terminal so we could pay on departure. Plenty of staff on duty but horribly disorganised.

    We love going to Blackhide on Caxton Street and thought we would try out the new Casino one, The view of Southbank is great, the food was very good, the service left a bit to be desired. The waiter was slow to come for first drinks, then it took a while for entree plates to be removed, there were enough staff on but they were all hovering around the food despatch area instead of paying attention to the customer's. I expect a better level of service from Blackhide, it was a fair bit below Caxton Street standards.

    A lot of teething problems. Big negative no private toilet for guests who dine in the restaurant you have to use the public toilets outside. Service terrible. No coravin wines were available and the prawn cocktail didn’t come in a cocktail glass nor were the prawns peeled. Steak was ok and our side of corn was nice. Definitely won’t rush back until they get themselves sorted!

    My wife's 56th Birthday was well celebrated and both John and Frank Gambaro made her feel very special on our Friday Luncheon. we had a table of 8 and all food was presented timely and tasty. cant wait for our next celebration at Black Hide. Mikey and Cinderella
