   We really enjoyed our first Blacklock experience. Very tasty food and a homely atmosphere with friendly relaxed service. We had the all in, the beef dripping chips were the best my partner has ever had and the slaw was delicious. Plenty of meat, well cooked and good quality. The flat bread was soaked in the meat juice and was totally yum! Thanks for a great afternoon

   We love a Sunday roast so went here for a special birthday and could not have been a more perfect choice. We shared starters (mushrooms magnificent) & pudding, & everyone had the All-in. Wonderful food and all round dining experience with it all arriving on one great big sharing plate - absolutely incredible. Needed a bit of a lie down afterwards but will definitely be back. An absolute triumph.

   Amazing experience, great staff and Incredible food. We went on a Sunday so it was the roast set menu and the selection of meats were amazing and all the trimmings to follow, very homely warm atmosphere.

   We had initially booked a table for 4, had 7 of us turn up, instead of been turned away, Deana the manager, was so helpful on the spot, moving a few things to make sure we were attended to. The meal was delicious and we will definitely be coming back again.

   Didn’t take his name but the person in the happy Easter crown was excellent! He introduced us to the best limoncello shots we had! The burnt one. Overall the best meal we’ve had in such a long time!

   What a perfect way to start a bank holiday weekend then a relaxed lunch at a fabulous restaurant! Let's talk about the staff - absolutely incredible attractive friendly flexible and just there for you when you want them to be. Simply charming. They enjoy their job and working as a team. The food - the model is one our entire world needs to move to of source local stop importing! Everything honestly on the menu is locally sourced from the UK and the price reflects that and the quality as well which is exceptional. As everyone should we did the all-in menu for two, virtually a taster menu of everything that's great on offer. Paired with a wonderful reasonably priced wine served in a decanter as it should be. The staff shared the mea is not actually preseasoned but they cook it to allow the natural flavours to come through in the cooking process which they do. Each piece of meat that we tasted had its own unique flavour and was thoroughly enjoyable. Side dishes as well wonderfully seasoned great portion size and actually very easily priced. Shout out to our main server (it's a real team effort) named Angel, rather the Latin charmer and so sweet and accommodating. I can be a rather picky diner as you can see from my previous review about other places but here don't change anything it's absolutely just what it says. Excellent atmosphere Superior food Amazingly good value Locally sourced Served by a team that actually enjoys doing their job and welcomes you. It's a winner all around!
