Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.

    I've visited a few times and you cannot go wrong with the All in! Great value, unreal way to sample the delicious chops and the small bites are a cracking way to start the meal. Unreal value for a central London chop house and couldn't recommend enough! See you again soon.

    Simply the best as always. Can’t beat Blacklock on a Monday, Sunday or indeed any of the other days of the week.

    Showed up at 6:00, time of reservation and was not seated until after 6:20pm. Was by myself traveling on business, someone suggested this place. Wanted a porterhouse but told only left was 900 grand or about 27 ounces and would have been $90. Ordered fillet and it was fine. Cooked perfectly. Asked for a check and wanted to head out as I was myself. A line of diners was extended up the entire flight of stairs, a full flight, waiting for tables. You think when a finer says I’m ready to go and let me give you your table back that they would make your departure a priority. But no, waited and waited in this very loud dining room. Finally stood up which will usually prompt a quick response but had to flag someone down.
