Saturday night dinner was delicious, must say we feel it’s the best steakhouse in Greenwich and top three in Fairfield county
Service was excellent and food was outstanding
Pricing is reasonable and the quality was stellar
Only suggestion would be to improve the ambient music to a lounge style vibe
Beautiful restaurant that can certainly be improved with simple touch
Was also odd not to have a hostess at the door to greet the guests
Black stones Greenwich is a wonderful dining experience the service is impeccable. The food is excellent and always cooked to perfection! Always a great dining experience.
Had a date with my girlfriend...first time here and when I arrived I liked the vibe immediately...not a big restaurant however all tables taken and very lively crowd looking like they were all enjoying themselves. After my date and I were seated we were treated to a great meal...shrimp cocktail, Filet, Salmon and great desserts...my Girlfriend loved the cosmo drink. We both had an amazing time...we were not rushed...sat down about 8:45 and left a little before closing at 11PM We loved it!
Once again we had a great time at Blackstone. The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommended!!!
Was really Looking forward to coming to this restaurant. We were seated on time however it took a very long time to get a drink order and appetizers. Also when I asked the waiter for an additional fork he asked me if I was “serious” in my request. I said to him yes I am serious and I cannot believe he asked me that question. Overall disappointing considering how many steak places are in the area.
Food is great lil expensive but good been there twice
Some confusion re the Groupon. Overall very positive including the general manager offering us a after-dinner cocktail at the end of the meal. Very warm greeting as we arrived very nice table attentive service very good martinis at the bar. Would highly recommend going there for a special occasion meal.
thank you again for seating us on the late side at the bar, for the Super Bowl!
Once again, always a pleasure to dine here, from ambiance to service and cuisine!
Best to all, Don G.
Blackstones is a steakhouse so their steaks are delicious! The service was fantastic! Always there to fill you glass.
Their SeaBass was very good and the scallops too. I just wish I asked for the sauce on the side. I wasn’t thrilled with it on my scallops. This is an expensive restaurant but it is worth it.
the plates were not full. the service was impersonal and no person said they were glad we dined there
I’m real picky about service and I am a foodie. No complaints and that is a high compliment from me!!!
The place was bright and clean
Service and attention was excellent
Steaks and seafood was very good
The best thing I can say is that I would not hesitate to eat there again
Our dinner at Blackstones was absolutely delicious! The staff was very attentive. The ambiance was great. We would highly recommend this experience to others.
Excellent food with many different menu options, paired with consistently attentive and friendly service, makes this a top choice in downtown Greenwich. Outstanding wine list as well.
We went there for dinner on Christmas. Three of our party are celiac and therefore can not eat gluten. We explained this to the waiter who even took the time to write down the five ingredients that needed to be avoided. Not sure what he did with it, or what the chef did with it because my wife was terribly ill for the next 10 hours after after dinner. In addition, they must have messed up our dinner order because we waited 45 minutes between our appetizers and main course. The waiter kept coming over and saying , “just a few more minutes.” He did this five times before the food came out. The porterhouse for two that we ordered for $112 that was supposed to be medium rare came out medium to medium well. When I told the waiter this, he argued with me that it was medium rare. I told him that brown with a very faint hue of pink was not medium rare he offered to call over the manager. As my kids were exhausted since we had been sitting there for over an hour and a half at that point, we told him that it was ok. When he came back again a few minutes later, he offered to take it back. I told him it was too late and we were too tired. We paid the bill (over $400 with tip with no desert and 3 glasses of wine) and left. The place is very pretty, the food was mediocre, and the prices were not in line with the quality of the food. In addition,in Greenwich you would think that they would understand what gluten free means especially when they are told the ingredients that need to be excluded. I will say, with the exception of trying to convince me that a medium to medium well cooked steak was medium rare, the staff were very pleasant. We will not be returning again. If you have a gluten allergy, avoid this place.
Had dinner at the bar. Bartender was very nice and service was excellent
We’ve been to a lot of steak houses and found this to be a bit pedestrian. First off – good luck with parking. It is either street side out front or 1000 miles away. Good luck. The menu had the standard steak house fair, but nothing unique that WOW’d us.
Delicious food served by an excellent staff. Very comfortable chairs. However the acoustical design of the room amplified diners' voices. At times, my friend and I had to raise our voices to hear each other. Afterwards, in the quiet of my house, my ears rang all night. Unfortunately, because of that I will not be back. A shame, because otherwise, this place is a winner.
Incredible food and service!! The quality of the food was exceptional and the attention by the staff was the best! A wonderful experience!
Superb as always! Delicious food, great service. They never disappoint!
We have dined at Blackstone's several times and always have a wonderful meal. The steaks are superb, service is attentive, and overall pleasant ambiance.
I would highly recommend you trying Blackstone's Steakhouse in Greenwich.
Another all around great meal at Blackstone's. Always reliable.
We made dinner reservations for my moms birthday. Eli and the other staff were wonderful. They made my mom feel extra special. Food was exceptional. Our steaks were perfectly cooked to order. Just an amazing experience overall.
Every dish was cooked to perfection including the cheesecake which was a real surprise as very few restaurant make an outstanding cheesecake.
Our server Eli was a delight. Super professional yet made us feel at hone. The entire staff were most attentive.
Over cooked and barely seasoned veal chop, inedible prime rib (wife got sick), unseasoned broccoli (ordered sautéed with olive oil and garlic) indifferent service. My cocktail was good. Don’t go.
Great steak, great seafood tower. Overall a solid place. Staff couldn't be nicer.
Always a great dining experience. Sammy, along with Benny and the rest of the team are the best. That is why we keep going back
Exceptional in every way. I was impressed by the professionalism of the servers and the high quality of every aspect of the meal. Excellent lobster bisque and interesting sizzling bacon for starters, followed by perfectly prepared filet mignon with spinach and mushrooms, then finally dense chocolate cake and warm apple pie to close out a perfect meal. Definitely going back for more soon!!!
The best tomahawk steak I ever had. The steakhouse salad was amazing and the service was superb
Beautiful meal. Professional service with every attention to detail. High end decor and ambiance.
Incidentally, we used a Groupon and selected from the Prix Fixe menu. I had read some mixed reviews about this online so was a bit skeptical, thinking that it might fall short of the regular menu dining experience in some way. But our meal was outstanding! Nice variety of choices for prix fixe (you won't find that tomahawk ribeye) but everything was delicious and my filet mignon was cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend, with or without Groupon.
Sammy is amazing — thank you!
The meat was tough and was so expensive that it should have been a better cut. The porterhouse was almost inedible. Very disappointing
My husband and I went for our Anniversary/baby moon dinner and had a wonderful time. The food was outstanding (one of the best filet minion I've ever had!) We did the groupon prefix and it was such incredible value. The portion sizes were huge and the selections were plentiful. They even gave me an iced tea instead of wine because I was pregnant! We started with the french onion soup which was one for the books, then the filet, then delectable dessert! Just a wonderful experience all around
Nothing about it was “really good”, NOTHING! For those prices, we should be able to say something was really good!
Great food, great service, great ambiance. Can't ask for me than that!
the sizzling bacon app was outstanding. probably was the best part of the whole meal.the prosciutto di parma was good except for the melon was not ripe. My steak was not cooked medium as I requested. The server saw it when I cut it and immediately had it fixed with the chef. my boyfriend enjoyed the tomahawk steak and his cream brulee. My vodka wasn't kettle one, which is what I requested . and my tiramisu tasted was sour, it was wet on top. Ive never had tiramisu wet.... I had such high hopes for this place, but it was a bit of a letdown
Another phenomenal experience at Blackstone’s. One of the BEST steakhouses in the metropolitan area. Their aged steaks melt in your mouth. Service was excellent as usual. I can’t say enough about this restaurant.
We took my parents for their 45th Wedding Anniversary and the food was Absolutely Delicious, The Staff was phenomenal, very attentive and helpful. Our Waiter was Fantastic, He even took the time out to help my mother remove the seafood from their shells!
Typically my experience at Blackstones has been amazing. I went with my family and it was on the early side...not crowded at all. Service was so so. What made the dinner worse was that the food was off. Oysters appetizer was definitely not the best. My kids had the onion soup which they enjoyed. We got the porterhouse for 3...my son got the bone in rib and hubby got a filet. We ordered the porterhouse medium rare and it was definitely medium well. Outside was charred- and not in a good way. Meat showed no pink. It didn’t taste good either. Overall, it was disappointing given the price and ho-hum service.
Deafening ambience, stale bread, tasteless steak, over cooked sides. The only saving grace was our server.
