Service a little slow. Hostess looked liked she rolled out of bed. Bathrooms not clean. Food was good.
Very good food/drinks and beautiful atmosphere. Princess was our server and she did a phenomenal job. Can’t wait to visit town again and come back!
Reservations was at 9:15, was rushed because they closed at 10pm. Waiter was not attentive and left for long periods of time only returning to remind us of closing time. Salmon was undercooked and had to be sent back! Not at all what we expected!
Very good service and location adjacent to the Inner Harbor. Unfortunately, the food and menu were mediocre.
My server Rob was so amazing and helpful I never once had to wait or go looking for him. He went above and beyond. From my event planner Darcy being helpful and making it easy I was glad I celebrated my Mother In Law birthday there.
Server was fantastic and only redeeming factor. The food was just okay. Not alot of option and nothing special, most especially for the price. Oysters 2.50-3.00 each and no discount for order by dozen, etc. Also found several pea crabs in them which is a turn off and should be cleaned out per standard by restaurants. First time I have experienced pea crabs at a nicer resturant! Left with $400 dollar bill (4 people with a 3 rounds of drinks, apps, entrees) which is fine but say ALL still hungry!!!
i've visited this location numerous times. each visit is as enjoyable as the last. Wolfgang is a Super Server!!!
Our table was pretty much ignored and food took a long time. We we didnt get any refills on our water and was standing up ready to leave waiting for the wait staff to get us the bill. Would not recommend this place.
Good food, yummy drinks. Maybe a little overpriced, but nice atmosphere. Our server Kiana wanna great despite being incredibly busy.
We dined here after visiting the Baltimore National Aquarium. It’s a perfect walking distance away (even walking in rain). We sat in the bar area & had Shakira as our server. She was fantastic! Incredibly personable and honest with menu recommendations. We started with the oysters which were priced very reasonable, displayed well and tasted great! Then we had the wings and saffron risotto. And the chicken Brie flatbread. The drinks were equally great. For a rainy Baltimore sad type feel of a day, this restaurant and Shakira perked us up!
The food and service was fantastic! Great seafood and it was so hard to pick one thing off of the menu. Such a neat spot for a nice dinner whether you are local or visiting the harbor. I highly recommend!
The food was amazing. I ordered the short rib entree with mashed potatoes and veggies and it was very filling. It was seasoned and moist. No complaints at all!
Hostess did not want to seat us at 715, said they were only taking their reservations bc they had a busy day (restaurant was fairly open) tried to sit at bar instead and they wouldn't seat us bc of COVID restrictions. As we were leaving I made a reservation online, turned around and walked back in and said I had a reservation and the same hostess reluctantly sat us while rolling her eyes. Upon sitting our waiter told us about how busy they have been yet was happy to make money. We ordered wine and apps, the waiter dropped the wine on the table and zoomed off without any sort of wine service. Was not starting out well, but he was attentive and nice. The food however saved this experience. Everything was delicious and the prices were good. Just a bizarre start to this dining experience.
The hostess was rude and did not communicate well. We were waiting to be seated when we had a reservation for a good 20 minutes. When all she had to say was were short staffed please bare with us. But instead she tried to ignore us. Once we sat down our waitress was great, very nice, accommodating and apologized for the wait. Took forever to get our food, but I can appreciate good customer service. I’ll be back and hopefully I have a better experience.
We were able to get a table very quickly after we arrived. There was a slight issue with open table's reservations: we were able to reserve a time fifteen minutes in advance and the restaurant did not have a table open at first; however, the host was very professional and kind. She got us a table in a timely manner. The food here was quite possibly the best meal I have ever. Jezell was our bartender/server. He was very quick, professional, and personable. Despite having multiple guests in the bar area, he provided superb service. This was our first time in Baltimore and we will definitely return to Blackwall Hitch if we are in the area. They are doing some great things!
Loved my experienced, the staff took pics and vids for my group which I loved!! The bathrooms were messing which was a bit of turn off and makes me think twice about coming back.
Our waitress was amazing. She was very attentive and the food was outstanding.
A very nice looking place with good food for anyone and very friendly staff!
Our server, Angie B was the absolute best. She made our brunch experience awesome.
Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Hostess was rude and inattentive. I had reservations but was told I could sit in the bar while we wait since we were early. She placed us at a high top. She didn’t give us menus or anything but we waited for a server. Well there is no server. The bartenders wait the high tops. Well they were staring at us and made no effort to greet us or take our drink orders. I decided I’d rather just wait for our table, so I go back to the hostess who said she checked me in at the high top, sound away with my table reservation. Huh? I didn’t tell you to do that! So she says I will have to wait til the reservation time if she reinstated it. I say fine, meanwhile there are SIX tables that would seat six people that haven’t been cleaned just sitting there. Two parties waiting (to include mine) and six empty tables and we are still waiting. Long story short, the hostess was nastier each time I asked for an update. I spoke to the manager and he didn’t acknowledge the poor service. The tables weren’t turned quick at all. When we finally got seated, the table across from us still had dirty plates, glasses and napkins. What a view. Ambiance? Yeah right. Food and drinks took forever. There were THREE private parties I later found out which is why we got the poor, slow service. Our server was nice. She did the best she could given the incompetent front house and management, hence the one star. I would never dine here again or recommend it. Food was on par with TGI Fridays. Way overpriced for the quality. Don’t waste your time, money, or craving for good food on this place.
Food was delicious...they seemed a little short staffed but that’s understandable with covid-19. Our server was awesome.
Everything was really good! It was our first time coming to this restaurant and for the most part, had a great time. One thing that was very odd was that they charge you if you get a refill of water. I paid the same amount for a beer that I did for a refill of water. What kind of rule is that?
My friend and I got brunch here for her birthday. I liked the ambience of the restaurant; from the design of the establishment to the music that played, the vibe was great. The menu was not bad; however, I personally wanted an omelette which was an item that wasn't on the menu. I was told from our waiter that changes couldn't be made in regards to having items made there were not on the menu. Speaking of our waiter, we were waited by Wolfgang, and he provided excellent service. We enjoyed his candor and kindness as well as general banter in our brief interaction with him. Overall, I liked the place a lot, and would definitely come back again. I do not regret my decision in the slightest to choose that place to eat for my friend's birthday. Lastly, I appreciate the ease provided for reserving a table at this restaurant via Open table as it created a smooth process for arriving and being seated within a reasonable time unlike other places where walk-in may be the only option.
Food was delicious and loved the atmosphere
Amazing service; from customer service to food to ambiance.
The food was absolutely delicious as well as their signature drinks.
Ebony was a great server...everything came out prompt and perfect. The gentleman (maybe the bar manager) had amazing energy and he helped me decide on a drink. The ambiance was impeccable and I enjoyed the overall experience...especially the shrimp & scallop risotto .
I would suggest other Blackwall Hitch...the food in Baltimore was not good!
Second visit where food was not hot. Food was not good at all and served luke warm/cold and also unseasoned. Drinks were really good though.
Food was pretty bland. It looked good but not too tasty. The host was our server. The staff seemed small but there wasn’t many patrons.
My experience was great...good food, good service, I will definitely return.
Great food, but seemed like there weren’t enough servers for outside seating. Also loud by the street when many groups of motorcycles went by that night (which probably does not happen often). Would definitely come again!
Great restaurant! This was my first time visiting Baltimore and people raved about this restaurant on social media so I had to try it. I am allergic to seafood and got the Bayou Penne without shrimp... it was delicious!!
The ambiance was great with how they designed the space! I can't recall the exact name, but I had the trident broiler, which was good, but a bit expensive for the taste. The pesto salmon was not flavorful, given that it was coupled with a bed of mashed potatoes. However, the crab cake and remoulade sauce were amazing. I'd highly recommend the crab cake dish coupled with the crab drip and their drinks.
Overall, I would recommend anyone that's visiting Baltimore Harbor to stop by!
Delicious food and good service. The bar was a little slow with cocktails but they were worth the wait. I will definitely go back.
I went for brunch... the food tasted like it was sitting under the warmer too long. But the service was good.
Crab cakes superb and loved the calamari appetizer
We had an amazing experience!!!! The service was exceptional!!
Amazing food. Came here with my father and my friends and it was superb.
Beautifully designed, comfortable setting, great service and amazing food. This may be our new favorite spot to dine in the harbor.
