Just off Maryleborne High Street, fun little French-influenced eatery has neighborhood feel, with a no fuss approach to Bistrot/Brasserie standards. Open latish, especially for this quiet part of town. More a place to take friends vs a business party. Not bad for singletons either, given it has a 10-12 seat marble counter
I can't fault this place. Beautiful truffle carpaccio. Amazing mackerel. And wonderfully light ravioli. Wine list is strong. With a focus on tasty rhone wines. And cheap. £50 a head with good wine for three people. Will be back as soon as possible.
Lovely place, nice location, lovely staff and lovely food.
Perfect place for Sunday evening dinner, especially when there are few choices around. Food is consistently good, great wine and a comfortable surround.
The menu is relatively small but offers good choices. The presentation and quality of the food was very good, and portions were reasonable yet sufficient. The wine list is large but moderately expensive. Service was good but not fussy. A very nice first experience; we will return.
Our second visit back and it was Superb! We were in London a week and dined at some of best but hands down Blandford Comptoir topped the list. The cocktail and wine selection paired with the perfect sized portions of delicious food will satisfy your palate and have you wanting to book your next visit. The staff were a delight! Professional yet fun and attentive. We felt special and can't wait to return.
Had a lovely lunch at this restaurant yesterday. The courgette appetiser and the seasonal salad were both great, but the onion soup was very small and disappointing. The mains made up for that: my mother loved her onglet and I had a very tasty mushroom ravioli as my main. At 50 pounds for two including a glass of wine, we thought it was a great deal! Would certainly return and recommend to friends!
Overall a very enjoyable lunch
blandford comptoir has always been one of my favourite place in Marylebone- cozy atmosphere and seasonal menu- the pork belly tortellini was beautiful and flavoursome, the mackerel tartare was perfect! A fantastic wine list which made it very hard to choose from as I want to taste everything. Thank you for another wonderful evening.
VG food, excellent service and wine advice from the sommelier
Amazing wine list
Small, charming restaurant with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good menu and presentation.
We had the set menu given for Valentine’s day. We shared the dishes and enjoyed the food; the highlight being the monkfish. We were sitting at the bar which was more spacious than expected, however, we were placed close to the staircase leading to the toilets which wasn’t very comfortable. All in all great experience, I would go back but request another spot.
Very good and good value set lunch, good service, cheerful staff. Nice location.
the food was just not good at all and not worth what its advertised for
The lunch menu is a great deal, the food was excellent and we appreciated the wine, good recommendation. Professional attentive service, they responded to all people requests.
The restaurant was very quiet, on a saturday lunch time. It made me a bit suspicious, but we had a booking and were meeting friends, so gave them a try. The menu is nice a a bit different. It's definitely not for people who don't like to explore different flavors and odd combinations.
The food was very nice, however not very hot. Everything was a bit luke warm, including the pasta and the Hake we had.
Service was friendly and warm.
Overall, about 35-40 gbp a head without drinks. and small portions.
Wasn't bad, but not amazing either. Won't go back.
One of my go-to places on my many annual trips to London. Very good food, excellent wine list and friendly service - rather hard to beat.
Very expensive for what it was. Quite snooty in that they sneered when we asked for Prosecco. Service charge may be standard at 12.5% but my poor wife felt compelled to pay for the entire meal.£200 for lunch for 4 is too steep.
Never again ,the food wasn't worth it.
Great little place in the heart of Marylebone. Huge wine list with some great wines. Really great ambiance, perfect for a date or dinner with someone special. Lovely French bi-lingual staff. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is a 'hidden neighborhood gem". Who knew that trendy Marlybone would have a tiny, intimate restaurant with a fabulous wine list and things like Broccoli Bagna Càuda with Parmesan as well as black cabbage with Harissa? (Ok, I'm vegetarian). We also had a tiny and delicious dish of homemade pasta, and the noise level and seating were perfect. What a find!
Pleasant and friendly staff
Felt they were trying too hard with the food- pappardelle dish was fairly undercooked and sparse even for a starter , my risotto tasted overwhelmingly of Parmesan , cep and tonka beans not very evident
Delicious food, great wines and friendly and helpful staff!
Wonderful local restaurant! Incredible wine list, friendly knowledgeable staff and delicious food. Only sad I no longer work round the corner or I'd be there every day :-)
Delicious food, good service and nice ambience; you can actually have a conversation on a Friday night.
A little pricey for the portions, which are tiny (a bit 'nouvelle cuisine'). I would recommend a side dish or starter to supplement your main dish.
service fine; noise level rowdy, sometimes anti-socially deafening; food OK; burrata dish inoffensive; fish dish fresh flavour; nothing to sing songs of praise about. Whole place perfectly OK but there's a slight air of unreality there - it thinks it's a whole lot more exciting than it actually is
Lovely little restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. The set lunch is great value but also the prices for a la carte are fair. Will definitely return.
exceptional service, impressive food delivered just like in a master chef presentation, attentive staff that offer you an incredible dinning experience ♥️😙🤗 thank you sabrina you were amazing and so was your colleague ♥️we enjoyed it very much and we shall be back to delight our taste buds :) thank you for an amazing dinner :) Sabina
The food is of a high standard - refined, inventive, beautifully presented - but the portions are very, very small.
Was a great pre Christmas catch up. Good food and wine list
Great place with exquisite food at reasonable prices
Lovely food and very good wine. Very friendly service however disappointing that the special ravioli was finished because we had been given the wrong menu, and then the waiter misheard our veg order - it is pretty noisy when full - but although not what I ordered, the veg we received was delicious. Excellent wine recommendations from the sommelier - suspect the recommended wine pairings would be delicious.
A delightful experience. Food exquisite, service excellent, cosy space and they let us sit at the bar for another hour after our table was required for the next booking
Delicious food and absolutely fantastic value with the lunch £20 menu with a glass of wine. Excellent food and service makes this one of my favourite places for lunch.
This was the 2nd time I had visited the restaurant it was amazing. The food was exceptional the staff attentive and fun which added to a totally wonderful experience
The main menu of cod is not substantial enough as a main course! (The mushrooms and the courgette side dish were served cold which is not my preference, especially in winter.)
Lovely atmosphere, nice bar area and lovely service though.
I was blown away by Blandford Comptoir. Everything from the wine selection to our food (appetizer, main course, and dessert) was exceptional. Do not miss a chance to eat here! Already planning our next visit when we’re back in London in April!
This is a real find. Tucked away just off Marylebone High St it has a lovely feel, livelier around the bar but quiet at the back. Perfect service and very good food.
This place is great, the decor the service and the food is outstanding 👌
Service was very ordinary & a little arrogant. Portions were extremely small. A tiny piece of meat & no veg other that a few dots of foam! Promises a lot more than it delivers
