Sicilian Red Prawns
500g Sirloin Steak
Amazing as always
Overpriced for the quality of food
Great spot for lunch and simple, good food. Nice vibe. Recommend.
As usual great staff service and food and fab Negronis
Lovely place marred by them missing out a key ingredient from the main course, not telling us, confessing they’d run out when we pointed this out, then eventually reducing the price of the meal by £3 !! (Was that literally the cost of the non existent sweetbreads??). They should have pointed this out when we ordered and comped the meal for poor service as we had to point it out. Other wise excellent ambience etc.. hope that was a one off..
Always fun place to go
Food a little disappointing. Overcooked and no advice on side dishes.
The whole experience was very nice and the only downside was that it was a little too quiet but this was owing to the effects of COVID rather than anything the restaurant was doing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and wine.
Great food and exceptional service. Would definitely recommend for lunch.
Lovely relaxed meal Excellent food and service. Good wine list. Wouldrecommend
Great to go back at Blanford Comptoir. Food and service amazing as always. A little gem in Marylebone
A fantastic experience dining and drinking at this fantastic local restaurant. The food was not only of fantastic quality but beautifully presented: balancing artistic exquisiteness without being pretentious at all. We were celebrating my friend's birthday which they made extra special by presenting her (discretely - thank you!) with a beautiful dessert (almond and honey pannacotta complete with tiny decorative sugar bees) and a candle. Beautiful touch as well as generally great service and wine list.
It is also exceptional to find a place with decent music that is just enough to provide ambience but is quiet enough not to distract or affect conversation.
A super relaxed night out.
Felt spoilt by the whole teams service and felt relaxed they had appropriate C-19 measures in place.
The soft egg truffles dish is a real tasty winner.
Very nice place to have lunch. Never tried it in the evening but I would recommend. If there was one thing I can’t agree with is the plastic flowers everywhere on the four outdoor tables and blooms of artificial roses between. If they had them inside, I’d have to give the place a miss even though everything else is great!
The food and service was very good and friendly, especially given the distancing etc.
Always a treat but we were worried that no covid precautions were taken.
A Tuesday lunch
Excellent Prawn starter, Wonderful Steak Tartare. Food...some of the best value cuisine for the quality in Town
Fab wines, terrific , not overbearing service
Food was delicious and really well presented. Flavour combinations are different from the norm but are well thought out and taste great!
Food was delicious, service was excellent. Would definitely return
The food was exceptional. Considering everything that is happened it is lovely to be in such a happy place with great staff and quality produce.
Lovely location and friendly staff. The food didnt disappoint either. We had oysters, mackerel tartar which was fab and then rabbit and steak as a main course. Rabbit was great but steak overdone.
The staff didnt wear masks so a safely alert here
Always my favourite local go to Restaurent. Love everything about it! Has happy memories.
We stopped for lunch, ended up going for the set menu of 2 courses which although not large portions is a drink (including wine), starter, main and a coffee/tea for £20 which we found to be great value.
Wonderful chef friendly staff, a treat.
Great wine selection too.
So glad to have this wonderful place open again. Service, as always, was exceptional and while there were adjustments to allow for Covid, we felt safe and comfortable. Well comfortable except for the outdoor chairs, a few cushions would be nice!
Portions are too small. The duck salad was decent, but not special, the main course was nice, but the fish was so small that at the end of the dinner I wanted to eat again. The wine is absolutely overpriced. For the price of a single, small glass of Barolo, you can buy two bottles in Italy. Ok, it's London, but this restaurant is definitely charging too much.
limited vegetarian options
The home made bread was outstanding
A wonderful welcome and superb food.
Lovely local friendly restaurant. Starter was wonderful, but vegetables with the main really let the whole thing down. Pre cooked mushy potato gratin and bitter slightly burnt sprouts.
Favourite spot in London. Amazing food, great service. Very nice place.
Really enjoyed the aperitif and wines suggested by the sommelier. Food was very good, although if you're hungry you might want a couple of side dishes too. The set lunch was good value but cheese selection a little small, will try a dessert next time instead.
Great atmosphere and service, will definitely go back.
Always love this place. The staff are excellent and the wines are beautiful. Great food too. My favourite Marylebone wine bar
The food was very good. My friend was impressed with the rabbit. I enjoyed my tortellini although a bit doughy.
It is a rare London place where people can eat and talk at the same time.
Very reasonably priced, delicious food with good service. The restaurant is small, even
cramped and Loud, so not good for an important business discussion or intimate chat.
But the service was very friendly and the polenta chips and truffle mayo are to die for !
Outstanding - really impressed and can’t wait to go back.
Fabulous food, wine and staff- however it is a small place and tables are close together, so it only takes a few loud people to destroy your evening! We were surrounded by loud people on Valentines night- maybe next time we will sit at the back of restaurant to avoid this type!
Very, very noisy. Clients snogging at the bar counter in full view without maitre d’ doing anything. Lively starter but main courses not so good. Fish was overcooked.
Just a great evening here. The staff were unfailingly kind and helpful from beginning to end, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, the wine list wonderful - as was our Canadian Pinot Noir - and the room exactly what a good local restaurant should be. We all agreed that we would definitely go back.
I’ve been at Blandford Comptoir for the lunch menu. It’s fab food and ambience and great value. Thoroughly recommend it.
Always fantastic - can not recommend this place enough
