Great cocktails and tapas. Quite pricey, but to be expected in this part of London. Would definitely return.

Food is a little pricey for what it is, drinks prices are as expected for central London. Lovely ambience. Service wasn’t the best on this occasion, but its usually good.

A beautiful bar, but pricey. The cocktails are very "experimental" and maybe we choose badly but neither of us was wowed by the ones we had (2 each).

Overall this is a really funky venue. The old bar has been sealed off at the end and interior made very dark with clever use of low voltage spotlights so the ambience is great whilst still being able to see where you’re going, reading menus etc

Staff are friendly and efficient. The menu is not extensive but what it has is all really delicious. The sting comes with the size vs value. All of the food portions are TINY, yet very expensive. 3 tiny cheese sticks, 3 tiny dumplings, 3 small koftas, etc, every dish a minimum of £7. With 3 cocktails, the bill was over £180 for 8 dishes and we were still hungry.

I get that this is the St Martins Lane hotel with Asia de Cuba next door but this was extortionate

It was a little dark (I think that’s the point though)but apart from that it was perfect :-)

Lovely cocktails although on the pricey side especially after service charge added to bill. Very dark and hard to read menu. Good service and comfortable seating.

A reasonable cocktail bar with a good range of "originals" but also the ability to mix the "classics" quite well. Service was prompt and polite, but asking £4.50 for a bowl of nuts seems penny-pinching to say the least when the drinks are well upwards of £10 each. Food marked as poor as "not applicable" isn't available.

Its hideaway nature may be slightly OTT, and didn't seem to keep out the table of noisy "yahoos" who clearly wanted to be the focus of everyone's attention but weren't actually attention-worthy. Perhaps management should have asked them to pipe down or push off - no-one else was behaving that loudly and they were distracting and they detracted from the overall otherwise pleasant ambience.

A very dark bar room set in an office block. 90s music played too loud for conversation. Cocktails outrageously expensive even for London. Don't go here, far better cocktail places in Soho and Covent Garden nearby.

Really nice ambience, but the music blaring above our heads was so loud we left after one drink. Who wants to shout and lip read on a Friday evening?

Popped in for pre dinner drinks, as going to an event nearby.

It was very early, so not too many people in, but I imagine that the atmosphere would be great when the bar was full and with the live music later in the evening.

Great cocktails from an extensive selection. Service was excellent, and the staff were able to recommend some cocktails based around our favourite ingredients.

Would definitely visit again when up in central London.

Booked for Sunday 26th November at 21.00 turned up and it was closed for a private function.
Would be good if Open table and the venue had communicated with each other to avoid this happening as was very inconvenient

Great little bar tucked away behind a secret door. Lively music, delicious cocktails and great service but it was so dark and menu was written in such faint print that you couldn’t read it.

We went after reading other reviews for a good cocktail. The bar was great, but after 9 PM on Friday & Saturday they have a DJ and play loud modern music. This is generally not the atmosphere you want from a dimly lit, well furnished cocktail bar in my opinion. Drinks were great, and it would have been great if there wasn’t a DJ. This bar is attached to a hotel as well.

Beautiful "secret" bar that makes amazing cocktails. They knew it was my husband's birthday, and without prompting, they brought over freshly made doughnuts with a birthday candle. It was such a nice touch. Would definitely recommend for dates and quiet drinks

Was an amazing experience. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left nothing was too much trouble. The staff were friendly and helpful, the afternoon tea was sublime and the cocktails beyond description. Everyone needs to go here at least once in their lifetime - trust me - you won't regret it- I'll be back that's for sure

Expensive, yes. Dark, yes. But other than that it was incredible. When we went (Tuesday evening) it was only half-full, it felt serene, not crowded, which is extremely rare in London. The whole decor and atmosphere is very classy, but not tasteless. The best part was that it was not loud, my friend and I could easily hear each other, which is also very rare in any indoor venue. Even when the live band come on, we could still hear each other talk. The band was not loud, but you could easily listen to them instead if you wanted to. Overall, a perfect place for a date or a catchup with a friend where you want to hear each other speak.

The cocktails were absolutely delightful. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars was because it was cold in there and we asked if the air con could be adjusted which it was but then it was turned back to cold.

I have enjoyed eating at your restaurants. The food has always been excellent. This the time time at this location. My self and another person in our party ordered the special which was Cobia. We both found the thicker part of the fish to be not cooked correctly and did not eat it.

Lovely little bar with a nice relaxing atmosphere. It’s perfect for a quick drink before a meal etc. There are some good cocktails and the staff are nice and friendly. It would be nice if there were more vegetarian snacks on the menu and it’s a pity that the smoked tofu spring rolls have gone as they were really nice!

I have been to the bar many times before and always had a really good time due to the atmosphere.

On Saturday however, the music was super loud and the music selection was really poor. Usually the place has a jazzy/ funky trendy kind of vibe but the music was pop and chart music from 2000s. Not really good for dates/ couples getting cosy.

I'm afraid to say we left rather quickly as a result. My girlfriend commented how great the bar and room looked and felt but totally destroyed by the loud chart music from 15 years ago.

Shame. Real shame.

I booked a table at BlindSpot for 7 girls to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We have been before for cocktails and as usual they were great. However, on ordering a bottle of Verve Cliquot Rich I checked with the waitress that it would be served as we expected. She had no clue as to how the champagne should be served, so much so I asked he to check with the bar tender. It was no surprise it did not get served correctly, as the bar tender literally proved the label from the bottle to show what it could be served with (which I obviously already knew). The most appalling part of the evening was to be told that all food gets cooked in the same fat i.e. the calamari is cooked in the same fat as meat. As I'm pescatarian I obviously stuck with the olives and chilli crackers ! The whole party is still convinced that the 'Chicken' satay was pork, and there was no sign of peanut, albeit we sent it to the kitchen and it was returned with us being told it was chicken satay! Interesting customer service and not the knowledge base I would expect of the St Martin's Lane Hotel.
