   We booked a table for 12 for my partners 30th Birthday. We couldn't be more happy with the food quality and service. Our waitress was amazing and went above and beyond in getting all our orders to what we wanted. We enjoyed our food and loved our evening 10/10. Thank you for being part of an amazing evening.

   One of the best nights out in London! Service was beyond incredible! The bar staff are especially great and cocktails were on point! Thank you to Walter who served us as well. Can’t wait to go back!

   7 of us travelled into London to Block specifically for a Sunday roast. We arrived to a restaurant with only a handful of tables accommodated and to be told at 2pm that they only had one roast left. We had paid a £70 deposit so there was no reason why we couldn’t have been contacted if this was the case. An hour later, when we had all picked different things from the menu we looked around in the restaurant to notice more than one table having a roast dinner. Not happy customers

   Four of us booked here on line hoping it would be OK. It far exceeded our expectations. Our waiter was friendly and amazingly memorized which of the 12 dishes were for each of us plus drinks. The food was all very good and the cod and the steak were fabulous. A nice atmosphere throughout, not too noisy. And the Manager was also top notch. Definitely one to recommend so if you're looking for a good value restaurant you should try this place.

    The ambiance is fantastic. Vibrant, fun and dynamic. Staff are extremely friendly and courteous but not over the top. Food was excellent and the meat was so tender and cooked to perfection. In short delicious. My only hick is with the service which I found to be a little too improvised and not proactive. I had to keep reminding the waiters for orders that hadn't arrived. Part of the problem is that there were 3/4 people waiting on us instead of 1/2. Totally recommend the restaurant.

    Lovely place for dinner, nice vibe. Bit of hustle and bustle and but you could hear yourself talk! We had the three course pre-theatre menu which was really tasty and the steak was delicious. The starter was a little on the small side (tartare) but the steak was a good portion and deliciously flavoursome. The wine per bottle is pretty pricey and there aren't many beer options. The house wine could be a bit cheaper as then we might have had two bottles! Great service and a nice atmosphere all round. Recommend the steak!

    Very nice food served by attentive waiting staff. We’re short of a few items from the menu but maybe understandable for a Sunday evening. All in all very good value in comfortable surroundings.

    Food was great but service was not quite there. Our drinks order was wrong, two drinks were substituted without asking & one had no close alternative for an out of stock item. Our bill contained meals for five, yet only four of us dined.

    We booked for a special meal - restaurante was touted as a premiere steakhouse in London - it is not. The service was good, but a bit understaffed. Selections were limited - the food is legit local but not really a steakhouse - three main beef dishes all came with same sides and same gravy for all plates - not really too creative. Limited wine selection and very limited availability. The people are nice as is the restaurant - just did not meet expectations as a true high end steakhouse.

    We had a post theatre booking for 10pm on a Saturday and I was given a call shortly after making the reservation to warn me that the kitchen took its last orders at 10.15pm. Nice of them to let me know but felt a little rushed when we arrived and had to order pronto. The waitress who was looking after us however, was lovely in manner and very attentive in service, so top marks there. Couldn't fault our steaks either - cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Only slightly surprising thing was how quiet it was - virtually dead for a Saturday night. Certainly not on the cheap side but where is these days? For two mains, two sides, a shared desert and two glasses of wine each plus service, our bill came in at just under £125 which ain’t bad value especially with the quality of food. Will definitely come here again.

    They ran out of most of the ingredients. We had to have a roast without any potatoes - they didn't even have chips. The waiter then said the roast didn't come with sides and we had to order the separately but when the order came, vegetables were given so we had too much food. The gravy was forgotten about and when it came it was cold. The bill came incorrectly as well. I never write reviews - it was disgraceful.

    Food was very good - scallops were amazing, as was the shelfish cocktail. Pork Ribs were cooked perfectly and very tasty as were the Tiger Prawns. Service sloppy but this was the afternoon - would assume better in the evening. The choice of beer was poor - just Pilsner. Would definitely recommend.

    Pros: great old fashion cocktails Meat tasted nice Cons: all steaks cooked to medium rare despite my party asking for blue and rare. Very few diners so the ambience was quiet. Expensive given the cooking of the steak without the 50% off Menu not the same as online - limited meats and little seafood

    This establishment is heavily catered to meat eaters. Bit limited on the veggie / fish options. Some of the items lacked flavour which was disappointing condensing the price point. Nice ambience and modern decor and our waitress for the night was amazing.

    Ate on the 50% off deal, which made the prices more reasonable. Cocktails were good, and I liked the various takes on Old Fashioned's. Steak was cooked correctly and was tasty. However, lamb was rubbery and tasteless, and the celeriac and Jerusalem artichokes were like old leather. Everything was under seasoned. There was little understanding of what sauces and condiments contained gluten. I would be aghast at paying full price here

    Food was good but hugely over priced - £6 for half a gem lettuce and some Parmesan is ridiculous we had 50% food from soft launch would not pay full price for the food - shame as the restaurant and staff were lovely but food over priced/didn’t blow me away to feel happy paying the prices Would only recommend if people had 50% off

    50% offer menu- Paint smell still strong, wine is overpriced and only small glass or bottle prices listed (one large glass of wine was £17!) Three of four diners had pulled pork starter (would not recommend) and service was charged for full price menu. Steaks were overcooked and apple crumble was burnt. This place needs a few months to iron out their teething problems but has potential as a good place for a catch up with friends.
