Bloomsbury Street Kitchen
A perfect setting for dinner or alfresco cocktails on the intimate terrace, Bloomsbury Street Kitchen is also moments away from London’s most iconic theatres, museums and boutiques, making it an ideal place to enjoy a relaxed dining experience.
Our design takes equal inspiration from Mediterranean gardens and minimalist Japanese aesthetic. Italian glazed porcelain tiles feature alongside exposed brickwork, whilst herbs and plant life such as Mediterranean olive trees and Japanese sago palms create a dynamic and atmospheric ambience both inside and out.

Although the restaurant wasn’t open we ventured to the bar for small sharing plates and were not disappointed. The dishes we tried were tasty. Our waiter went the extra mile in finding an specific bottle of wine. Would highly recommend and looking forward to trying out the restaurant when it opens.
We had a really lovely time and would go again!
An amazing meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food was stunning and service excellent. Highly recommended for s special occasion.
Fabulous atmosphere, food superb and service excellent- no hesitation in recommending!
The food and service were both amazing. A beautiful restaurant with great decor and vibes :)
Great food, drinks and service. Really lovely atmosphere and fun music. 100% will be returning
Excellent food and great ambiance, staff were friendly and attentive.
We had an amazing evening out at Bloomsbury street kitchen and did the contemporary kitchen table experience.
The food was amazing with great pairing wines.
Alberto our host and also sommelier was a great host!! We will definitely come back
Excellent service and great food. We really enjoyed our time here.
Really good food and ambiance
Some of the best service I have ever had and amazing value on the restaurant festival tasting menu. Special thanks to Eduardo
My partner and I had the Japanese and Mediterranean taster menu. We ate early as we’re going to the theatre. the service was truly excellent, our waiter was friendly and attentive. the food was amazing, we hadn’t been out to a restaurant for some time for obvious reasons but for our first time out we struck gold. we couldn’t fault anything about the evening, the meal, service, the restaurant even the music contributed to a first class meal.
Very nicely presented dishes. Good range of cocktails. We had a combination of the set menu and a la carte. Went home feeling full.
Excellent food, outstanding service. Lovely ambiance. Really well prepared and presented, food looked great as well as tasting good!
This was an amazing experience and a very enjoyable evening out. We had the special six course vegetarian menu and chose a combination of Mediterranean and Japanese dishes, each course paired with specially selected glasses of wine and saki, which worked incredibly well and made the whole thing a real culinary adventure. Great decor, great ambience. Best of all was the wonderful personal service from the waiting staff, who were pleasant, friendly, informative and charming. Not cheap, but we’ll worth a bit extra for such an unusual and extraordinary dining out experience. Totally recommended.
I took my mum out for food after visiting the British Museum. We had the most fantastic time. Great vibe to the place and the food was absolutely delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.
An impeccable restaurant. We had the 6 course tasting menu and it was exquisite, plus the service was extremely attentive and friendly (they even gave us some free drinks!). Highly recommended!
This restaurant was amazing. We each did a 6 course tasting menu (there are 2 different ones) and we can not rave enough about the food. It is 5 days later and we still refer back to it. It was amazing, and not just great food but the presentation and experience of the food. The setting was wonderful as well, modern, but comfortable. All of the staff we interacted with were excellent.
Bloomsbury Street Kitchen is one of London's hidden gems. They've fused Japanese and Greek cuisines into playful, full of flavour dishes. Our waitress Stella was a joy - attentive, charming and knowledgeable, and the space is light and bright. It's a beautiful night out.
Food and service are amazing. Food is expensive however. 6 dishes between 2 people should fill anyone.
Amazing meal! We had lovely food and service. Highly recommend the signature Aubergine dish! 👍🏼
A rare visit to London for us to visit our son who recommended this restaurant. Wasn’t disappointed, tasty well presented Japanese/ Mediterranean fusion, excellent service, maybe a tad over zealous topping up the water but that’s a nit pick. Definitely worth a visit
Service was phenomenal, food was incredible and the atmosphere was wonderful. Worth every penny and will definitely be going back!
It was about gathering the grown up kids around the table with their partners.. the high table was ideal for us, and the food very tasty, the service excellent and while it was quite expensive on one cheque, we took that on the chin because all the other boxes were ticked.
My only negative comment is solely from an ambience perspective! While 2 of our 6 enjoyed the music, the rest of us couldn’t enjoy our company because the ‘music’, the vibe and pulse of it was just too much... it’s hard to eat and digest, or hear the conversation with that noise... but that might just be the old European in me...
Would still recommend it for the quality of the food and service
We visited on a Friday evening. The food and ambiance where amazing and our host Giulia as well. I can recommend anyone to visit this really nice place
Superb food great service and lovely music. The crab salad was my favourite but the when we tried the Mules and frites we thought I picked the perfect restaurant!! We had few bellini as well and although they were served in small glasses they were absolutely delicious!
I love this restaurant and we will definitely come back.
Everything was amazing and food is reasonably priced for what you get. Will definitely visit again!
We had lunch yesterday in this very large restaurant. There were only 3 tables occupied. The waiter was charming but had to go to his manager to find out about special offers etc. The food was delicious. Every sharing plate beautifully served.
The bill had an error 30£ which has to be rectified as they forgot about the special offer . We might try going one evening as we enjoyed the food but not the lunchtime ambiance.
Food was very good, portions are very small, and overall it was a bit expensive for what it was. If you pre-eat you will enjoy it more. £150 for 4 people and we certainly could have eaten more.
Tasty food nice surroundings
Booked for celebratory lunch - my son’s 18th. Food very good although it really did feel like we were in someone’s kitchen. So not high class surroundings. Different and quirky. Staff a little inattentive although spent a lot of time with their regulars. They kindly acknowledged my sons birthday with chocolate happy birthday and a little sweet on a plate. Would go again but perhaps just for a normal lunch not a celebratory one.
Our first visit but we will definitely return.
Excellent food and excellent service in a beautiful restaurant.
Something different! Unusual slat on menu and all of it delicious.
Nice restaurant, good staff, and interesting food - but the piped music is a real drawback - though when we asked they did turn it down a bit.
The food and ambience of the Bloomsbury Street Kitchen was excellent. We had dinner one evening and it was so good that we went back for lunch the next day. There was enough choice on the menu to make two visits possible. Although the menu is based on 'small plates' the serving sizes were good. Beyond the food, the service from the waiting staff was amazing. They knew the menu well, were able to make good recommendations and were friendly and warm.
We are looking forward to returning.
Amazing food and setting - would definitely recommend to a friend
From the food to the exceptional staff, I love coming here.
We had a lovely evening in Bloomsbury. Diner was excellent and service was very good. We went there with our two teenagers and they really enjoyed it too.
Excellent food. Quick service. Perfect location.
