Bloomsbury Street Kitchen
As we prepare to reopen our doors, we are committed to giving our guests a remarkable dining experience. We have therefore made several enhancements to our menus and service style, allowing us to continue to provide exquisite food and exemplary service delivery within a safe environment.
The changes we are implementing for our style of service will still bear our trademark attentiveness, whilst adhering to the recommended distance between our guests and our teams.
Although our menus will feature fewer dishes, our ethos remains the same. We will still offer a selection of contemporary small plates from two distinctive cuisines, with the addition of our new Kitchen Entrées and Our Kitchen Specialities.
As all our dishes are designed to be shared, this adaptation will provide several larger signature dishes, should our guests desire to select their own course.
We look forward to welcoming you all to this next chapter in the story of our Kitchens.
Food and service are amazing. Food is expensive however. 6 dishes between 2 people should fill anyone.
Amazing meal! We had lovely food and service. Highly recommend the signature Aubergine dish! 👍🏼
A rare visit to London for us to visit our son who recommended this restaurant. Wasn’t disappointed, tasty well presented Japanese/ Mediterranean fusion, excellent service, maybe a tad over zealous topping up the water but that’s a nit pick. Definitely worth a visit
Service was phenomenal, food was incredible and the atmosphere was wonderful. Worth every penny and will definitely be going back!
It was about gathering the grown up kids around the table with their partners.. the high table was ideal for us, and the food very tasty, the service excellent and while it was quite expensive on one cheque, we took that on the chin because all the other boxes were ticked.
My only negative comment is solely from an ambience perspective! While 2 of our 6 enjoyed the music, the rest of us couldn’t enjoy our company because the ‘music’, the vibe and pulse of it was just too much... it’s hard to eat and digest, or hear the conversation with that noise... but that might just be the old European in me...
Would still recommend it for the quality of the food and service
We visited on a Friday evening. The food and ambiance where amazing and our host Giulia as well. I can recommend anyone to visit this really nice place
Superb food great service and lovely music. The crab salad was my favourite but the when we tried the Mules and frites we thought I picked the perfect restaurant!! We had few bellini as well and although they were served in small glasses they were absolutely delicious!
I love this restaurant and we will definitely come back.
Everything was amazing and food is reasonably priced for what you get. Will definitely visit again!
We had lunch yesterday in this very large restaurant. There were only 3 tables occupied. The waiter was charming but had to go to his manager to find out about special offers etc. The food was delicious. Every sharing plate beautifully served.
The bill had an error 30£ which has to be rectified as they forgot about the special offer . We might try going one evening as we enjoyed the food but not the lunchtime ambiance.
Food was very good, portions are very small, and overall it was a bit expensive for what it was. If you pre-eat you will enjoy it more. £150 for 4 people and we certainly could have eaten more.
Tasty food nice surroundings
Booked for celebratory lunch - my son’s 18th. Food very good although it really did feel like we were in someone’s kitchen. So not high class surroundings. Different and quirky. Staff a little inattentive although spent a lot of time with their regulars. They kindly acknowledged my sons birthday with chocolate happy birthday and a little sweet on a plate. Would go again but perhaps just for a normal lunch not a celebratory one.
Our first visit but we will definitely return.
Excellent food and excellent service in a beautiful restaurant.
Something different! Unusual slat on menu and all of it delicious.
Nice restaurant, good staff, and interesting food - but the piped music is a real drawback - though when we asked they did turn it down a bit.
The food and ambience of the Bloomsbury Street Kitchen was excellent. We had dinner one evening and it was so good that we went back for lunch the next day. There was enough choice on the menu to make two visits possible. Although the menu is based on 'small plates' the serving sizes were good. Beyond the food, the service from the waiting staff was amazing. They knew the menu well, were able to make good recommendations and were friendly and warm.
We are looking forward to returning.
Amazing food and setting - would definitely recommend to a friend
From the food to the exceptional staff, I love coming here.
We had a lovely evening in Bloomsbury. Diner was excellent and service was very good. We went there with our two teenagers and they really enjoyed it too.
Excellent food. Quick service. Perfect location.
Lovely food, good value for money and wide range on the menu. Good ambience and music. Service also great
Way too lout music and the food was really not good for 75£ / person - maybe it was the valentines menu, I don’t know.
Visited for Valentines Day. Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful neighbourhood. Excellent service and very tasty food. Nice music although a tad too loud for me.
We had such a wonderful meal here. The food was delicious, generous portions and good value for money. The staff were really friendly and the ambience and décor were spot on.
Would definitely recommend Bloomsbury Street Kitchen!

A great find and was surprised not to find more people in there, although it was a Tuesday. Food was absolutely delicious with a great selection. Someone in the group was Vegan and the menu selection for her was great too - we'd definitely go back!
Dear Vjgemini, Thank you for your lovely review and kind words about our Kitchen. We are so pleased you enjoyed your time with us and very much hope to see you back again at Bloomsbury Street Kitchen. Kind regards, Bloomsbury Street Kitchen Management Team
Great food but woefully slow and inattentive service and the air is “infused” with some heavy scent that is pumped out every few minutes - exactly what you don’t want while you’re eating.
Limited attempt to deal with a lactose and wheat intolerance despite several weeks notice led to the affected diner having a very poor meal with delays and even some dishes having to be returned when they proved to have the offending ingredients while others around them dined on. No real attempt to address the issue even when it was easy to do so by using wheat free soy sauce. Overall therefore a disappointment for all the diners at the table.
Very good restaurant with awesome service and great food.
This is an amazing culinary experience. Be prepared for sharing - make a good assessment of your mix of dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian, pregnant, lactose intolerant, gluten intolerance and so on) ahead of time as some constraints may mean some people are waiting on food they can eat while others are merrily gorging - because you will gorge. The quality of food is outstanding.
Large, modern restaurant with an interesting menu of small dishes. Food was delicious, but the portions were very meagre for the price charged, and both food and drink arrived very slowly despite the restaurant not being full.
I had a really lovely time. The waiters (fella in glasses and a number of his female colleagues) were very attentive and eager to ensure we had a really good and comfortable dinner.
Decent, tasty food too!
Very high recommend and thank you very much to Giancarlo
Kenneth was very attentive to us and tried hard to create lovely atmosphere.
I liked everything At the restaurant exept the music witch was too loud. The food was excellent. I Will rekommend it higly.
We created a shared meal for 4 choosing from the extensive range of small plates. They suggested 3-4 per person - we chose 9 savoury dishes to start with then a desert each (as they were more difficult to split four ways). We all agreed that was sufficient. Every dish was interesting and delicious and there wasn’t one that we would have missed.
This is an attractive looking restaurant but the food was a bit hit and miss. Portions were generally very small and the fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean dishes didn't really work. Service was friendly but the ambience was lacking because, even though it was a Sunday lunchtime, the restaurant was more than half empty. It was also quite expensive considering how little food was provided, we had three small plates each as recommended and despite not being big eaters, still left feeling hungry.
Absolutely fantastic meal! Beautiful food, attentive service! Will definitely be returning!
Excellent food and very good service. Techno background music was a bit intrusive for us but it didn't spoil the meal. Expensive (you really need 4 - 5 dishes, as they're generally pretty small) but overall pretty good value, bearing in mind the quality of the food and service.
Lovely attentive staff, were very mindful about pregnancy dietary restrictions. Food was excellent and dishes are not ordinary. Overall above average experience for the price range.
