BLT Steak White Plains
Mashed potatoes were like glue. Strip steak was 1/2 thick and tasteless. Never going back!
A drunk man came to my table yelling at my family to have my grandson keep quite. The host just sent him back to the bar. I will never goto this restaurant again
Open, airy venue. Noise level good early evening (increased during evening).
Food preparation simple -- results delicious. Very generous portions.
Tuna quality top grade. Shrimp scampi delicious (and i don't like shrimp). Suggestions re. cocktails and wine hit the mark. French fries ultra good (but gluten -intolerant individuals better double check preparstion on thesd -- as batter is used). Complimentary mocha brownies great taste and texture. Only item we tried which was disappointing was triple chocolate cake. Very chocolately, but heavy and no finesse.
A lovely venue for our birthday celebration.
The flavors are bold, the service exemplary, and the hen-of-the-woods mushrooms, an absolute must-buy!
Not as good as it used to be. Our rib eye steaks were full of fat and while a rib eye is more "marbelized" than other steaks, all of our steaks had a tremendous amount of fat on them. As well, BLT steaks used to be very tasty; now they are just bland. Even the wedge salad was sub-par for a steak restaurant and the side of truffle mash potatoes and roasted brussell sprouts were just ok. Too bad because the restaurant has a nice setting.
I made a reservation specifically mentioning that we would
be celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and to request a great table.
We ended up getting sandwiched close to two other couples on each side, and after confirming with the restaurant over the phone about the anniversary, not one thing was done to commemorate the event.
For the price I paid, I expect better attention to detail. Shame on the hostess and maitre’d.
The service and the food are very very good - but it is very difficult to have a conversation there, which is a big drawback.
Top notch high quality steak house. Cocktails were on the expensive side. Steaks were cooked perfectly, service was fantastic.
Amazing service for my birthday. Rachel the manager there always takes great care of us. Great popovers tuna tartare and NY strip!!!! Thanks guys
As always a great meal at blt steak. We love their filet - it’s delicious.
Have been to this restaurant several times now. It is expensive but worth it. Delicious food, courteous and attentive staff (can’t say enough good things about the staff). I highly recommend this venue especially if you are looking to go somewhere for a special occasion.
Excellent service and great food!
BLT is a sure bet whenever one goes and whatever the occasion. Really good food which is prepared perfectly and presented attractively. The wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive. It is a bit pricey but worth it.
We were very happy with our service and our food. We went for our anniversary and the staff was amazing and so kind. thank you very much
We love going to BLT for a special night out. Food is always fantastic and service is excellent.
Restaurant loud. Steak too charred in inside and not cooked inside not what I expect from BLT. Burrata salad tasteless. Used to be better. Feels like a chain restaurant. Not worth it anymore.
We have dined at BLT many many times. We took our son for his birthday this time and it was SO loud. They had a party in the main dining room and tried to block it off but the noise level was offensive. They really should have notified their reservations of this as it was unenjoyable and unfair.
I had a reservation for my mothers Birthday and the food was great but there was a huge party behind us and it was hard to hold a conversation. It would of been nice if we were notified of this party and was asked if we wanted to move tables and that was never offered to us.
Sides and main course where overly salted from the kitchen.
All’s well that ends well, but this was a very bumpy dinner. Don’t think we’ll return for another meal.
Service was excellent
Meat wasn’t great. A bit tough and the bone in rib eye had no bone.
They were out of blue oysters and the California ones were minuscule.
Problem with air vents made the room smoky.
One guest waited 20 minutes for his car which came out with the radio stations altered.
This was our second time there. Our guests first time. We were a bit disappointed
Messed up a chicken dish therefore had to recook everyone’s food, had to wait another 15 mins. One person wanted a desert to go, they put everyone’s desert in bags to go. Went back to the kitchen, took them another 15-20 mins to bring the deserts out. Won’t go back.
Food and service were very good. The wait staff was very accommodating and pleasant.
( My hen of the woods side was very good but not as good as BLT in Manhattan. )
We had a lovely evening. The waiter, Christopher, was great!
Everything was amazing. The Pop-overs, were simply the best I have ever tasted. Definitely recommend!
Always a great meal at BLT
Always great service, yummy food, nice wine, delicious popovers.
We’ve been to BLT several times over the years. The service is consistently great and it has nice ambiance. Popovers are a winner. But they are far from fantastic, and it is pricey considering you can get much better steak elsewhere in Westchester.
I felt the steak was cooked too well done and small serving. To lay $106.00 for a steak I would expect a bigger size. The service was excellent. The poppers, butter, sides were excellent. Not sure if we would go back for steak but would go back to bar for drinks and appetizers.
Sides were cold
Lamb chops were not medium they were raw
Steaks were delishish
Popovers my favorite part
Food and service were great. We were given 2 table options, a 2 seater or a 4 seater next to a large crowd with kids. We asked for a quiet table in the back but the hostess said they had reservations coming later. There were plenty of extra tables and they remained open the entire dinner. They should be more flexible with their seating.
Wait staff and managers are horrible. Sat down with my family, nobody came over for 20 minutes. Never asked for a cocktail order never offered a wine list. Food took 1 hour to arrive and it was cold. Manager came over after 2 hours and said they could do better and comp the water and 2 drinks we where finally able to order. 600 bucks. Go elsewhere.
BLT is not the same as it used to be. Definitely feels more like a chain than it used to. Not the premier steak place as a few years ago. Steaks are average and the past 3x we have been there it just feels like they are going through the motions. There are better places to go for that level of dining
Seafood tower app was mediocre at best. (Chewy shrimp, fishy lobster, cerviche had a bad flavor). Ordered the porter house medium. Burnt in outside and not juicy, whereas another person in our party ordered the NY strip (one side of the porter house) and it was juicy, tender and good. Service was slow. Average overall experience and extremely expensive.
The puff buns are addictive. Service was fantastic & wine selection well beyond most steak places. Only drawback is price, but food & service make up for it.
The steak was very salty and my husband loves salt so for him to say. I order Alaska. King crab claws and one claw for 61 are they kidding me. I sent it back but was full on popover which were great and my potato.
Great meal! This is always the best steak dinner in westchester. The sides are also great, especially the hash browns and mushrooms.
All 3 Steaks were over cooked. Not the first time unfortunately. The manager was lovely and service was great but they need to master how to cook a steak at the correct temperature.
Service was horrible. I ordered appetizer gluten free and had to send it back twice for two different types of gluten. Took forever to get out check. Waiter often no where to be found. Would definitely not recommend this place AT ALL
