BLT Steak White Plains
meyer lemon, radish salad
My husband and I have always loved BLT Steak. It was one of the last places we dined at before the pandemic. Once we heard the doors were open, we went running back. Unfortunately we were less than satisfied and our meals were very underwhelming...our waiter was really attentive and had a positive overall vibe. I noticed my favorite lobster Cobb salad went up in price by a few dollars and down in value...granted this salad is $26 for iceberg lettuce, I could always see the value with the amount of lobster there was along with a nice round disc of pancetta. The salad I just had this past weekend did not have pancetta nor did it have a significant amount of lobster....very disappointing. Even the creamed spinach, which we usually LOvE, had no flavor and overall was very blah. My husbands steak looked like something they pulled from the garbage...it looked almost mangled and unappetizing. This is a bummer because I will probably not return for a long time. Well into next year....I’m very dissatisfied with the amount of money paid for this truly disappointing meal.
Wonderful restaurant, lovely staff. Hope it comes back with its full menu.
Always a good meal! Never disappoints.
The service was excellent! The bread and salads were delicious. Our entrees (steak and fish special) were a bit underwhelming though.
We went to BLT for my 20 year old sons birthday. It is one of his favorites and we have been there a number of times over the years. This however may be the last. When we arrived we realized that it was Lent so we would order fish instead of steak. Well the serving size of the salmon that both my son and i had was ridiculously small. Given the price of the entrée, with no sides included, it was a total joke. My husband said, that's it, its the last time we come here. We had always thought it was expensive, but once the serving size is less than any other restaurant one must wonder what is going on.
This has become our go-to place whenever we meet with our dear friends. It is the perfect location and the food is amazing.
The filet mignon was overly salted. The oysters and martini for 20.20 was a great deal and the oysters were amazing!
Loved the restaurant, staff was noticeably nice and attentive, the short ribs were amazing (second time getting them), the bacon we ordered was huge, definitely was a serving size for 4 ppl, the potato skins were dry (not that great), the hash brown with duck fat were amazing, we saved some for the next day and had them with sunny side eggs on top, steak was a little over done but still good( berbaise sauce was definitely off almost acidic, needs more butter!) The desert was good we had the ice cream, I really loved the strawberry. Overall it was a great dining experience and I would go back a 3rd time and onwards.
We ordered a cowboy steak at the recommendation of the server which was extremely fatty. The popovers came cold. The server was more than happy to get us fresh hot popovers. We ordered fried potatoes which the server said were playing but they came with truffle and Parmesan. The server was very accommodating to return them came back with a baked potato that was cold. We let the manager know what was going on he didn’t seem very interested but did offer us two free drinks next time we come in. I would not return
Food was great, manager was very accommodating when our table wasn’t ready. Overall great experience.
The French fries weren’t good. The steak tasted good but was very small and a little more than the medium we asked for. It was a NY strip.
Always a wonderful experience!
Good food and service. Always get a good meal at BLT
I was forced to come here for a business dinner.i heave not been here in a while as I always have a horrific dinner and tonight didn’t disappoint. It was as disgusting as I recall. The food is terrible and the service matches. I really hope I don’t have to come back for any reason.
I had the most amazing time at BLT. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and BLT made it even more special. Everyone that came over told us Happy Anniversary. It was even written on our dessert plate as well. Between the drinks and the amazing food, my experience was the best. Service was superb! I will definitely be dining again at BLT in the future and will be recommending them to all my friends.
Consistently perfect steak
Not worth the high prices
BLT Steak was a very pleasant surprise. While they are a bit pricey the food quality and service were exceptional. A particular high note were the complimentary breads and dessert at the end of the meal. The cheese puffs were exceptionally good and I can see why they are one of their specialities.
Little too noisy.
Always a great experience at BLT Steak in White Plains. Serving sizes are too big but they are happy to wrap up and let you take away. Lovely service. Very attentive. Great ambiance.
Food was great ,
The seasonal fruit - berries were fresh and excellent!
Me and my friend just two guys who like good food just wanted a night of reward from the hard working gym and crazy life and decided to come to my favorite restaurant BLT.
Love this space and the lightening. I don’t feel like I’m in a box. Great energy!
We had an amazing time chatting away with great food and service.
Love the steak.
We come every year for special Anniversary stay at Ritz and dinner at BLT. BLT always makes it special.
The prices where just to high for the food we had. Just was not worth it, have had better meals.
Go for the popovers, stay for the rest. Lamb was great.
Not good they ran out of food and actually suggested we goto Morton’s across the street which we did! Surprised that BLT would send us to another steak house but they did!
My husband and I had an amazing time ,the food was excellent so was the service the music was good ,the ambiance was great,I would definitely go back, and would share my experience with everyone know.
Steak was ordered medium but was well done. Lobster was good, sauce delicious, beet salad OK. Pirce was astronomical for what received as steak houses are much better value and food
Extremely expensive, even for a steakhouse. You even pay $12 for parking! The food and staff were great. A bit loud but by the time I was out of there, it was $650 including tip for 4 people with one round of cocktails (2 were domestic beer). 4 appetizers, Porterhouse for 2 ($106) and 2 Cowboy Ribeyes with 4 sides (each at $12) and 2 desserts and a port.
This was a special occasion but will look at other steakhouses, not in the White Plains Ritz Carlton for our next event.
Absolutely wonderful experience!!! The food as always delicious. Portions are very generous. We were given the Shrimp Scampi special appetizer on the house, it was so scrumptious! OMG! We sopped all the sauce with the bread. The Porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection and delicious, as were all the sides : Duck fat hash browns, Brussels sprouts, Jalapeño mashed potatoes. Yummmmy! Our server Doug, as well as all the servers, were friendly and attentive. There was never a wait for service. BLT Steak is the BEST STEAKHOUSE around! A gastronomic experience not to be missed.
This was the worst steakhouse I’ve been to in Westchester. The food was tasteless and cold, the service was slow. If you want to spend this type of money go to Benjamin’s steakhouse you won’t be dissatisfied. This was a horrible experience.
Pleasing dining room. Tables far enough apart, so there is plenty of room. Acoustics are great, so there is no yelling. Classic steak house fare; well sourced and prepared. Service staff is competent, friendly and well coordinated.
Much different experience from the last time I was here about a year ago.
I was treating an employee out for top performance. The service was delayed. A lot of people were running around: they just weren’t attentive.
Also the courses came out about 5 seconds after the soup went down. It turned us off.
I won’t be back for a while. Other places have upped their game and can deliver consistent high quality and attentive service.
Looking for a good steak with top service—keep looking.
It was just so so. We like Capital Grille, Morton and Ruth Chris way better. I was a bit disappointed and not worth the money
Delicious food as always. However, service was not up to par. Waiter was not overly friendly. Additionally, popovers and main courses arrived at the table at the same time - poor kitchen planning.
Best steaks we've had outside NYC so far. The steaks are great but so are the sides, and the desserts alone are worth visiting. Celebrating an anniversary, we had some champagne - top notch bubbly. The service, however, is what sets this place apart. Attentive without being disruptive, and very courteous. It's not inexpensive but it is well worth the money. The ambiance is modern yet intimate, and although it's loud, that is actually a plus - you can speak comfortably without overhearing others. If you have an occasion to celebrate, this one is among our top choices.
