It was quite empty, especially for a Saturday, which of course made the ambience a bit low, but the place & decor is lovely. Hopefully more people will soon find this new area outside Westfields by the old BBC. Food was delicious, liked by whole family from picky grandmother to 10yo boy via, amongst others, a gluten intolerant mother, and the service very friendly. Looking forward to summer when one can sit and enjoy a meal outside or cosy up in ‘hut’ for a drink. We would happily recommend Bluebird and will return again ourselves.
Ok, not as Bluebird in Chelsea so felt a bit overpriced. Food was nice, portions small.
The Bluebird offers very good food and drink supported by excellent service. We like it for brunch, but I am sure it would be great for lunch and dinner. Very convenient for Westfield and very close to the tube stations.
Really disappointing. I arrived to an empty reception desk and had to search for someone to acknowledge my booking. There were only 4 other tables being used in the restaurant on a Friday night so it lacked atmosphere. Upon leaving, the manager actually walked away from the front desk as we approached, and we had to wait for a waiter to appear and request our coats from the cloakroom. The food was good, but the overall experience wasn't.
Very warm welcome from the staff, very good service!
Friendly staff! I just stopped for a tea in the afternoon, nice and cosy atmosphere!
I will return soon!
Great food, good service, quiet on a rainy Saturday night.
Good steaks and salads in an attractive venue. Friendly and attentive service
Dinner with a DJ
Great service and lovely food, we had a very relaxed lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it there.
Had a lovely Saturday lunch with super service and awesome food. Will definitely be coming back soon and will happily recommend this place for great food choices, excellent service and ambience.
I was really disappointed. Lack of atmosphere didn’t help. But no excuse for the poor quality of food. Cold and unappetising crab linguine. Strange texture tuna. Cold coffee. Average cocktails. A real shame. We won’t be back.
Restaurant was very quiet even though we went mid week for lunch. The starter of vegetable tartine looked pretty but had no taste. It was lacking flavour. It needed maybe a drizzle of truffle oil and some herbs. The chickpea fritters we had for our mains were not great either. Far too heavy and greasy and boring. We decided to skip desserts.
The restaurant looked nicely done up with an outside terrace but the service was not great either. We started off with a waiter who then went off to do staff training with a group in the restaurant which was really annoying as we could hear the leader talking loudly. We had to go the desk to ask for the bill.
Two course menu was very good value!
Lovely food, service and really nice decor. Great for brunch, lunch or dinner!
The food here is solidly good. The decor is pleasant and the location lovely. Service is incredibly pleasant but could be a touch more attentive.
I really enjoyed it here. There was a variety of food options - something for everyone - cocktails, wine, beer.. DJ playing some tunes.. can't complain!
Pleasantly surprised by this Restaurant, lovely décor, excellent service, warm and personable.
Nice portion of fresh and flavoursome food.
Great cocktail list, the music at 7pm was not too loud and it was easy to have a conversation without having to shout (as in many restaurants and bars of the capital).
I warmly recommend it!
I had a launches, dinners and drinks with friends so many times.
Love this place! Is perfect for any occasions!
Service and food are efficient, quick and tasty.
Cocktails to die for!
The booths are great for a group of friends and I recommend the tune poke bowl for something which is healthy, filling and *absolutely delicious*.
Really beautiful restaurant with cosy atmosphere and warm welcome at the arrival.
Staff if very attentive .
They offer a wide range of options, suitable for veggies and meat lovers !
We tried the grilled lamb and scottish plaice for dinner , it was very tasty and perfectly cooked!
Our waiter advised a wine for both dishes, we enjoyed it.
Will go back again,
A chic, fun spot in the new White City complex that's good for cocktails, eclectic decor, celeb-spotting and excellent chips.
Food was really good. However despite having booked a table we had to wait 45 minutes for our seat, and I watched someone walk in and be given a table before us.
Nice location and I do really like this place, but some of the service was a bit lacking.
We didn’t have starters. The mains were really tasty; yellow fin tuna was done perfectly, the steak was also really nice and perfectly cooked.
We both had an ice cream for dessert and again, very nice.
It’s quite expensive, c£50 for 2 courses each and no wine but would certainly go back
Main course was expensive, not well cooked and I was still hungry after if finished.
Great energy. Sunny Saturday afternoon. The team accommodated our group outside with no problem. Food was good. Not outstanding but the total atmosphere and service made up for it.
I hosted a meal here for a number of friends. Attentive waitress who changed my cocktail when I didn’t like it. Food great. Lovely place.
Nice place to go for brunch; great food choices and a nice ambience. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was really tasty too.
Great afternoon brunch. Good food and unlimited bubbles
Perfect as always! Service was excellent and any queries about the food were dealt with immediately. A lovely brunch
I have dined at the Chelsea location many times and expected a similar experience at the White City location. The ambiance was totally different - the patio seemed a bit thrown together, like chairs and tables that were just found spare in a storage room.
The food was decent but the service made this pretty much unenjoyable. We had to ask multiple times for anything - menu, water, ketchup, the bill... including the maitre d, when the restaurant was less than half full.
I’ll be dining a lot at the other nearby restaurants once White City House is open, but unfortunately my experience at this Bluebird tainted any future bookings.
Newly opened in a very buzzy courtyard in Television Centre in White City. We sat outside. Good food, great staff, Brasserie style food.
Fabulous service, great cocktails and sunny terrace. Perfect lunch destination. Food was delicious.
I though I’d try the new Bluebird as the reviews were good, but unfortunately it didn’t match what I’d read.
We had a starter of fried prawns that tasted like dehydrated cardboard, the salt and chilli squid we also had was lacking heat in both senses.
The mains were ok (fish and chips and shepherds pie) but nothing really to write home about.
It may have been that we just picked the wrong food as the burgers looked good and so did some of the sandwiches.
A light lunch cost £80 for two, mainly because 4 small bottled beers (2 each) came to £18.
Will I go again? Probably but I’ll stick to wine and a burger
Pork Belly was excellent. As good as I've had anywhere in a while.
Great place for a friend catch up. I went at lunch and the ambience was bright and service was excellent. Good value and what I would expect from the chain.
Well executed food and friendly service, bad signage from the outside - it wasnt strikingly clear that the orange awning outside was in fact Bluebird, could be some clearer branding.
Would come back nonetheless.
Just a great meal and super service sitting in the sun
Lovely Saturday lunch. Really good service and beautiful decoration. The DJ music was way too loud and did spoil our meal - we were not an old crowd (included 16y, 20y & 22y) but all agreed the DJ music was annoying and too loud.
We had a fabulous lunch and awesome service. We can’t wait to return and repeat our unforgettable first experience. The Manager Samantha was an amazing welcoming host. We had a feeling that we were at home with friends rather than at a restaurant and didn’t want leave. After shopping at Westfield across the road we nearly went for dinner at Bluebird!
