Would recommend. Thought there would be more on the menu tho !
It was 8.00pm and we literally couldn’t hear each other speak. There was only 3 of us, we were having to shout across the table. 10pm - I get it, Saturday night, I get it, but during ‘meal’ time some of us actually want to talk. We left early to find somewhere else for dessert. I was exhausted by the end and frustrated - it was supposed to be a special occasion, but it ended up somewhere we couldn’t wait to be out of as we literally couldn’t talk to each other. I’m really not a masker/social distancing type, but this restaurant forces you to get really close to people and yell as it’s impossible otherwise to hear what they’re saying. Shame - it’s got good food/fun surroundings.
Lovely decor, nice vibe, friendly service, good food and for what we had it felt like decent value for money. Will definitely be going back!
Great vibes, have plants growing all around. Great for brunch
Doing a really good job during COVID — well done & thank you
It was our first night out to dinner since March, and was the Anniversary of our marriage one year ago. The night was lovely and perfect, and the food was delicious.. Thank you so much for taking our minds away from other concerns for three magnificent hours.
Food was amazing, Service was ok we did have the time from starter to main was a bit long. But the service as a whole was good!
Will be going again soon!
Nice location and very COVID friendly. Lots of space between tables and with the very high ceiling, the feeling of space is fab! Food was good too.
Fun evening celebrating my wife’s birthday!
Honestly such a special dinner! Thank you for making everything as amazing as it was! 100% recommended!!
Great food and service (really nicely cooked spatchcock chicken and a well-seasoned duck nasi goreng) but I have to say it’s gone a bit YOUNG since I last went there. Full of Made in Chelsea-ites and with dreary dance music playing, it has sort of lost its class over the last (maybe 20!) years. In the early 2000s it was - I thought - classier than this. Still the food was beautifully cooked and the service was attentive and friendly so I would say it’s one of the best places to go in this stretch of the Kings Road.
Warm welcome. Good service and good advice for the wine.
Perfect - thank you for making my husbands birthday so special.
Dining room was beautiful and food was fine (not special but not bad). Service was some of the worst I've received in the world (and you'll see from my OT acct that prior to quarantine ate out quite a bit). 3/5 of my party sat down on time and were waiting for our tragically late other 2 for quite some time. We had to ask a waiter for champagne thirty minutes into seating. Then we had to ask them to clear our plates when we were done. Wondering if I should categorize this as bad or neglectful service. Probably both. So many pretty restaurants with a scene in London. Skip this one.
Friday fish did not disappoint at Bluebird, Chelsea. Fresh calamari with chilli to start and lobster for main, washed down with the house Rose was delicious. The staff were world class in their service and the evening felt like a celebration of all that is good in life.
The bar upstairs is awesome and it had a really good atmosphere .
The food was superb - recommend the chateaubriand ( for 2 )
Staff very friendly and super service
The food had no flavour at all. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
The service was also really slow, we had to ask the waiter a number of times if the dessert was coming and waited half an hour for it. This place is just overpriced for the experience you get so better off going to a restaurant that takes quality and flavour more seriously.
The decor was old and the place was also dirty. The chair I sat on actually had bits on it and hair on it from the previous person who sat there. For a high end place you expect the cleanliness to be better than this and also dust from the ceiling kept falling on us the entire time we sat there and when I looked up all I could see is spider webs everywhere especially on the paper blue birds that are hanging from the ceiling.
Excellent restaurant, would highly recommend
Loved the service, loved the food, loved the decor, great value - but the whole experience was a little bit 'spoiled' by the horribly noisy and disruptive rabble sitting at the table behind us.
Excellent service. A very nice place for a get together. Food was a bit disappointing (mine had too much lemon in the pesto and not particularly warm) but would still come back. Dessert (vegan pavlova) was divine!
Superb food. Warm welcome and excellent service, attentive but not obtrusive.
Lovely secluded table
Great cocktails and food
Great venue, menu a bit limited but nice food.
COVID notwithstanding, felt like a normal restaurant in normal times. Excellent good and good service. Experience slightly marred by a very noisy group fairly close to us but I guess that could happen anywhere
We booked in advance and requested a nice table, we got there to be left standing at reception for some time before we were taken to a bog standard awful back table with no view and nothing special about it.
There were people rocking up in shorts and flip flops that got better tables. The waitress took the order but we got our starters before our drinks (highly irritating) and then told than they didn’t have the champagne I had requested, after they were chased.
We main course duck salad was horrendous! Rock hard duck and dehydrated salad. Not what you expect from the Bluebird.
Deserts were fine but nothing to write home about.
Shocking and no effort really to apologise to take the time to rectify the issue. We won’t be spending an special occasions there again.
Mango salad was great as a starter, decent steak as well.
Exceptional service
Been living in Chelsea a long long time and wanted to try. Nothing wrong with the restaurant ... waiters were very nice and food was good. It was just a very boring place, with boring food, nothing that justified the price we paid... nothing special , inventive or unique, would honestly not return unless for a drink.
Went for a pre wedding brunch, service was amazing. Only flaw is that there wasn’t many breakfast type options mostly lunch items. Great atmosphere and lovely tables.
Lovely food and drinks and great atmosphere.. Will be returning! x
We love it here has something to offer for any occasion at any time of the day / week / night
Management of the restaurant is completely rude and incompetent. Service at the table was good but we had to pour wine ourselves as waiters ignored us.
Lovely seafood
Great food and staff
All measures in place for safety.
Great night out.
Nice ambience. Service left a little to be desired as a bit slow and slightly overpriced. But would recommend.
Fantastic service even though every table was taken. They know what they are doing and were very attentive. Lobster and burger were not fantastic as well as the drink suggestions!
They have come out of the lockdown in a way that is thoughtful and gives you a sense of a new normal we may want. Food was great and service impeccable.
Very pretty but very pricey
Great brunch with friends visiting London fir the weekend.Service was excellent.
Just perfect, wonderful place. My wife was si happy
All great, food , service atmosphere, will be back soon
