Buzzy restaurant, nice food. Served too quickly, felt a bit rushed
Had dinner with a friend.
Asked the waiter if I could have something that was on another dish and instead of saying that he would ask the chef I r ceivdd a very direct NO! Followed by an uncomfortable silence. Apart from that enjoyed the evening.
Usually always have a great time but this time the service was so horrendous it ruined the evening. Won’t be back any time soon.
Restaurant was barely full. Staff shoved us in table at back by wall- had to ask to be re-seated near to a window.
Had to call staff over every time we wanted to order. Were not helpful when asking to order off a la carte menu as well as set.
Food was expensive for 3 pieces of dry lamb on a plate with no side... or even the tiniest vegetable garnish at all.
Get better food and service at the pubs around Chelsea where I live, like the Cross Keys.
I am a lover of dining out around west London and do all the time. I rarely have bad things to say, but to say this was poor would be an understatement. I would be likely to highly recommend friends and family do NOT dine here.
Poor poor experience
Food was excellent. However, music too loud for eating (dinner, Saturday night). We couldn’t talk at all... I was dissapointed.
Service and location are great but the menu is not what it used to be. Very little choice and nothing very inspiring.
Everything was great but maisonette portions were very small. We didn't have starters or dessert, just main & drinks and it was £85 and we went to another restaurant to fill up after.
I would visit again if there was a theatre menu or perhaps larger mains.
We were celebrating my Mum and brothers birthday. A beautiful quirky building, full of colours, art and trees. Perfect service from the waitress - she was polite and attentive. Food was brilliant especially the lobster spaghetti, the lamb rump and chicken mains which went down well with a fabulous Merlot. We all had a lovely time. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again. Thank you for a lovely experience.
The staff is brilliant.
I have been going to Bluebird for many years (very occasionally as I do not live in the UK) and enjoy it every time. Great atmosphere, great buzz, great food and great bar scene. Many guests only come for drinks, not a bad way to enjoy this place either. Recommend for dates, fun night out with friends or business colleagues but probably less so for families with younger children. Still trendy and buzzy after all these years.
Went for my 21st birthday, had a lovely waiter serving us. Brought out a desert for my birthday which was sweet. Food was incredible, especially the chateaubriand... Would definitely be coming back. Only downfall was the previous mention of my partner having a dairy intolerance and nothing was mentioned. Overall an incredible experience and a great birthday meal!
Very nice atmosphere, the food is also really good.
Perfect table was able to have a conversation side by side. Amazing selection on the menu equally amazing food !
My partner and I had an amazing time. We will be deffo returning.
Brilliant service and food. 10/10 as per usual a
Lovely lovely time and fantastic service and food. My only gripe was that our mains were served on small side plates which was annoying! Please serve your mains on a dinner plate! The small plate immediately makes you feel you’re being ripped off. My portion was also very small.
Delicious food in a really cool atmosphere.
The food was good but not good enough for the prices! The atmosphere was great, there is a real buzz at the bluebird nowadays.
The lovely staff noticed we were celebrating two special occasions and without us saying a word they brought us two complimentary desserts! It was so thoughtful and unexpected.
Booked here via open table spare of the moment. Food was amazing with great service. Would highly recommend and have been doing so! Will definitely dine here again.
For Mother’s Day. Good food, good wine, and good service.
I went for the mother’s day brunch and it was very good. Great service, atmosphere and I really enjoyed the 3 coursed set menu. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely meal, great service, just slightly too noisy for a dinner date but i always expect that on a saturday night at bluebird, week nights are much quieter
Celebrated our 1yr anniversary in the place we got married. Was a great night and really lively in the bar afterwards.
Nice ambience good food a bit tight on space if you seated on chairs near the window
We loved it!
Had a great evening with a friend here after a wedding show. Had the set menu of which the main course of cod and garlic mash was delicious. My friend had the salad for starter which she found far too acidic and didn't really enjoy it but again, her main course was very nice. At £20 for two courses, it was a very good deal so we would definitely go back.
Great food, great place only the service let it down slightly. Waiting to have our order taken, plates and empty glasses leftnon the table longer than they should.
We had a well presented lunch. All 4 of us enjoyed the food. Each dish looked like a work of art.
I had a nice, quiet lunch with a friend. It had tasty food and a more formal atmosphere than the Bluebird cafe. If you want to have a good chat with not too much bustle and noise, it's great.
Lovely interior and ambiance. We were lucky to have a table at the quiet corner as it's a bit noisy. Service was fast, even maybe too fast!, meals were tasty.
Great value, good atmosphere.
Great night out.
I had crab, avocado and dill to start; roast cod with mash for main.
Food, drink and service - outstanding. Great evening
We waited too much time to be served.
Is not the first time. Otherwise the food is good
Overpriced food with ok taste. you pay for the 'classiness' of venue and hype. brunch wasnt good there
Brilliant service and food. Will go again, and the dessert of the "bluebird" is really good in homage to Sir Donald Campbells record breaker.
Hadn’t been for a while and was in the area
Most enjoyable. Friendly service and good food. Wine somewhat pricey but so what?!
Had a lovely long lazy lunch with friends, service was attentive but relaxed, beautiful building and very comfortable.
Absolutely not worth the price.
They fish people just with the "offer" 20£ for 2 courses.
Wr came out spending 40£ each of us just for adding water, coffee and olives.
The service is inconsistent and slow.
